Can't say enough good things about our experience with Ray. There is a long list of great things about the job he did providing DJ services for our wedding reception of over 100 people so just in case you don't want to read too deep lets start with this: Hire him. You will get top notch service at a price that honestly was about 2/3 of what other DJ's were asking for the same service. Ray took the time to call to find out about our needs and he even came out to the our house to see what the physical layout was. He saw that we had a lot of people in a relatively small space and he made a great plan for where to set up his booth and his speakers. The sound was absolutely great. He listened to the kind of music we wanted and asked for simple playlist to give him a starting point and he built out 3 hours of music that the crowd was loving all night. I am a musician and all of the members of my band were of course at our wedding -and they all went out of their way to mention the high quality of his sound and his excellent and engaging playlist. (Impressing those guys is not easy because any musician will tell you that other musicians are snobby and judgemental as hell about DJ's. I'm just sayin LOL). I needed a DJ last minute and reached out to a few people, one of them being Ray. He respomded so quickly and was willing to help even last minute, even though it wasn't the type of event he usually does. I ended up not using him and I am genuinely sad about this because I could tell from his energy on the phone that he would have made a great party. He took the time and folded all of our pocket squares and told us where to be and how to look good. My buddy Greg's wedding also went amazing.
