As I continue to get responses (over 200 of them now) from various groups I'm getting to see how unprofessional they really are to their customers. Please keep the comments coming so as many people as possible are aware. I am writing about a serious safety issue caused by Jim Shorkey Kia service center that they are refusing to take responsibility for. I want to share this frustrating situation in hopes of getting some accountability. I took my vehicle to Jim Shorkey Kia for service, and when I got it back there were several issues that were not present before: a misaligned wheel, air bubbles in the coolant system, and the airbag warning light on. Jim Shorkey Kia corrected the wheel alignment and addressed the coolant issue. However, they are refusing to take responsibility for the airbag sensor, even though the warning light appeared only after the service. Airbags are critical safety features, and a warning light means the system may not function properly in the event of an accident. My wife is currently driving this vehicle with our children, knowing the airbag system may not deploy properly if something were to happen, and the dealership service center that broke it is now asking for $3,400 to fix it. That is beyond frustrating. Customers trust dealerships to service vehicles safely and when it involves a safety system like airbags, accountability should not be optional. Before taking our vehicle to the dealership, we had a reputable independent service center run a full diagnostic. They have since confirmed the airbag light was not on and stated they would testify to that if necessary. From there, the vehicle went directly to the Kia dealership. I have extensive documentation showing the issue originated at the dealership, and I never expected a dealership to deflect responsibility over such a critical safety matter. Because this is a serious safety concern, I currently have a case filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and will also be filing complaints with and the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, the service center at Jim Shorkey Kia on Route 30 in North Huntingdon has shown that they cannot be trusted to prioritize customer safety, and instead appear willing to save a buck over the safety of my family. Please be cautious if you are considering dealing with them.

The money that was paid (in cash) over $2,000 was rolled into the car loan. I searched online and narrowed my criteria to a price, mileage, one owner, no accidents, within 25 miles of me. I knew from experience the market supply was scarce, the car prices were high, and odds of finding one locally depended on looking online vs. the old days of going from dealership to dealership. Voila! I found one checking off every box at this dealership and bonus points for being within 5 miles of me and a certified condition vehicle. I immediately drove there to check its availability. As I parked, Rob was there to greet me and I asked if he could help. And help, he did! We took my soon-to-be-mine Chevy Spark for a test drive. The dealership had performed all the mechanical checks, they washed it, and it met all my criteria. The buying process was easy, the team was friendly and professional, and the car is mine. They have a service department which I plan to use.

I love Riverview Chevrolet and have purchased three cars and always my service work done there so I was very sad and dissatisfied but they did the best that they could I guess to make their mistake right. Unfortunately, I will no longer do any business with Riverview Chevrolet and it does actually make me sad.

While the car was still within the warranty period 3000 miles/3 months, I spoke with the service department multiple times concerning excessive oil consumption. They told me not to worry about as it is normal, and refused to check into it. I now have a useless vehicle that I paid almost $17,000.00 for. The dealership refuses to assist me in anyway.. telling its not there problem. Completely poor business ethics, and can assure you everyone I know will not be purchasing a a vehicle from this shady dealership. They told me "someone else needs to take ownership of the car?"

I took off work to see the car, and I showed up to a car that had rust under the paint and scratches all over the bumper. The salesmen could have been straight with me, but that wasn't the case. If these were this easy to pick out in under two minutes, what would 10 minutes prove or a couple of months? about 1 hour After I left the not-so-good review, on Google Al The salesman I dealt with sent me a nice text. It Said "Thanks for the BS (not spelled BS) Review. Happy Holidays" I wasn't going to name names, but if you still wish to deal with them please try to avoid Al. The funny thing is he didn't deny what I left in the review he just didn't like the truth. Hopefully, he has a better co-worker, you can talk to.
