Typical Carvel. Always has a line but the staff is nice and accommodating. Love the soft serve and the Carvelanches! Can't complain.

This place has been around for a long time. They have outdoor seating and free parking. I got a junior size soft pistachio cone and it was delicious. It looks small in the picture because I was too excited and took a few bites. Junior size is definitely good enough to satisfy a craving. Would def come back here the next time I crave some carvel. The guys working here are nice too

Can't go wrong with Carvel when the ice cream craving hits. They have something for everyone, with plenty of hard and soft serve ice cream options. This location is also doing a great job of keeping everyone safe by having customers place and wait for their orders outside. The service was great and very accommodating to my nut allergy as well!

Two small vanilla soft serves- Good amount for a "small"

Have had their cakes but this was a first having their ice cream. Opted for the soft serve and was pleasantly surprised; it was creamy and had good flavor. In addition, the "small" was a very decent size. This location is a medium sized store and has about 4-5 seats. Would recommend their cakes and soft serve (yet to taste the hard ice cream).

Just opened. Great addition to the neighborhood!

After many months of delays, Carvel finally opened at the corner of Coney Island Avenue and Foster Avenue. I stopped in today and despite the temperature dropping by the minute, the place was mobbed. The store is clean, bright and the staff seemed to be friendly and efficient though if they stay as busy as they were today, they will need to hire more help! Like other stores in the chain, they have weekday specials (see photo I posted) and they told me that they might expand their current hours (10 AM-10 PM) during the summer months. Carvel, welcome to the neighborhood!

Picture sheet all bubbled and not straight. Amatuers!

Overpaid for a picture cake, that's one thing. But after getting the cake, the picture sheet was all crooked and bubbles in it. Amateurs. Dont waste your money here. And choclate part tasted weird. I eat from carvel all the time. Horrible.

We've been here more than a handful of times and with each visit have experienced nothing but greatness! The space is clean, the customer service has always been exceptional and the ice cream is so good. My husband and I almost always get the coffee thick shake. I'm so thankful Carvel found a spot here in the neighborhood!

Went there yesterday because of two reasons; first the weather was perfect for an cold and creamy afternoon shake and second I have been craving it for a while. This place has yet to disappoint me and hopefully it doesn't lol. The customer service was very good, the guy who took my order was very attentive in making the order. The only issue that I noticed afterward is that I order four small thick shakes one oreo for my sister and another oreo for my wife , one chocolate for me and one vanilla for my sweet mother. Instead of the Vailla, I received the Starwberry which I didn't realize until I got home. Thankfully though my loved the strawberry shake and seeing her happy made me satisfied. I will give the guy taking my order benefit of the doubt since he has 15 Large thick shake strawberry orders that maybe he forgot about Vanilla and gave me berry instead. No worries, it happens. If you are craving a sweet tooth delicious, fresh and creamy shake always go for Cravel.

Upon submitting the online order, I received a text confirming the order. I was able to confirm the price. They were going to charge me an extra $12 for the outline of Crayon Shin-Chan's face that I requested. They said it wasn't a simple drawing, which I didn't realize, so I swiftly changed it to just mini cone designs. The mini cone design was a good call because they added different flavored ice creams that I didn't choose for the cake to the cones. One of the ice cream cone flavors was orange or something, which I don't think I saw as an option on the ordering form, making it even better and allowing us to try even more flavors! It was $65.33 (incl tax) for 3 flavors for the second biggest size cake (I think it was for 10-12 ppl). The three flavors I got for the cake were: Cookies and cream - 3.5/5 My least favorite flavor here even though I generally really enjoy cookies and cream. Not enough cookies and the texture of the cookies is not soft enough. Don't think it will taste like your favorite pint of cookies and cream. If I were to try to describe it, I'd say it'd taste like a healthy cookies and cream? Taro - 4.5/5 My favorite flavor because the taro came through but in a nice, subtle way. This was also the least sweet of the three flavors. Black sesame - 4/5 Undeniably black sesame. The taste was very strong and the black sesame seeds gave it some texture. A tad bit too sweet but overall ok. I've gotten ice cream cakes from here in the past, and I thought I wrote them a review already, but I guess not.

Both flavors were good, not overly sweet. The two cones on the cake were flavors that we couldn't choose and it was strawberry and matcha. Personally for me, the matcha was a bit too bitter. When I do this; I usually find " buried restaurant treasure". On a recent visit to Prospect Park, I decided to try a different place and got off the B16 at Caton and Coney Island Avenue. The place: Lark Cafe. I was in a mood to cheat and have a toasted wheat bagel with scallion cream cheese and a Chai. I got almost everything, except, wheat was sold out and chose sesame bagel. As I waited, I wanted to check out the adjoining ice cream shop that sells Jane's ice cream, made in the heart of the Hudson Valley. I will return for a future cheat. Jane's is known for popular flavors as Killer Chocolate, Blue Zoo, Unicorn Cake. My order was ready and one bite of the bagel: heaven! The bagel was toasted to perfection and the scallion cc was delicious. And what a generous schmear! The Chai was light and frothy. As I devoured, patrons around me were typing on their computers enjoying Stumptown coffee and iced tea. LC offers a variety of tasty options: whitefish on a bagel, smoked salmon, cheddar chive biscuits, tea bread, croissants, doughnuts.. The ambience is relaxed and there is a book nook if you need a good read. Lark also hosts private events and for families there are sing along and story times. The service is kind and my bagel was absolutely made with TLC. I left Lark happy and walked straight to Prospect Park. Off the beaten path is always full of nice surprises! There was a radius around me that no jewish person in the building would even dare to approach even if it was life threatening. The stares you get is constant and never ever will you have an experience from them that isn't different. They are literally bordering a brown community and they still act like this. I ordered the nachos. The chips were nice and crispy. I requested cheese. It was very liquidy, cool, and had a thick skin covering the top. I also ordered some salsa for an additional $2. This was even colder and had a sweetness to it. Both of these were not the greatest nacho dipping sauces but this is an ice cream house after all.
