Came through as my car was dirty from all the rain. I was able to pre-pay in the app and enter my license plate. When I got there, it was all new to me since it was my first time through a car wash. The worker was super friendly and explained everything. Once I got there the system automatically pulled up my info from the license plate and the worker helped me go through. Once I got to the beginning there was a worker that helped me center and pointed to the instructions for how to go through. It was a cool 2 minutes. Only thing for me was that the drivers side had a portion of dirt that was still left on and the back side of my car was drill super dirty. Once I got home I used a waterless car wash spray to wipe it down and clean it. I guess it's better to just have to do the back than the entire car. I was lucky and got the last stall to vacuum. The vacuum was strong and did the job of cleaning the interior of my car. Overall, not bad for $20. I think it would work well if my car wasn't so dirty and you go and wash it weekly. Easy car wash here in Waipio but man it gets so busy especially during peak hours such as from 930am till late afternoon and it takes time to get a place to vacuum and wipe your car down. What is hard is there is about 8 vacuum stalls during peak hours. Customers either wiping down their cars with the free complimary cloth while waiting for those stalls to open up. The business limit vacuum use for 10 mins so can free up the stalls. You can purchase their microfiber cloth but I bring my Costco microfiber cloth to use. I like the Kapolei location as there are more vacuum/wipe stations available here due to being a bigger location. I'm glad that I have Waipio location which is closer to where I live. The cost for service is $20.94. Card payment only, do not think they accept cash but ask. They have membership option as well. I prefer to wash my car at least once a month if can. read more

This car wash was super fast... in and out within 5-6 minutes. The issue is I made $21 basically and still ended up having to scrub bird poop off my car. I wish for the price it did a better job. I appreciate the wide parking spaces to vacuum the car afterwards though! read more

Yes! This place is still going. The price has been raised to almost $21 now. 108 seconds of pure car washing! Where can you be about 2-3 feet in back of another car and experience 108 seconds (1 min 48 secs) of pure car wash! @ almost 20 cents a second, this wash does a decent job. It doesn't take off everything but they give you a cloth to wipe of the bugs and other spots..... They have some of the best vacuums around and the some of the coolest music while you wipe down and vacuum. So, it's still worth it. If only I could really straighten up my wife's car correctly...... One of the best car washes on Oahu with a convenient location in Waipio and another in Kapolei. Great car wash card available at COSTCO for a better value. Friendly service, good wash and dry. The bonus is self-serve use of the vacuum cleaners. If it's crowded, they direct you into the vacuum spot to reduce the chance of cars cutting in line. Suggestion: Please have locations in Urban Honolulu and on East Side. We eagerly await these locations but will drive for a car wash for now. read more

Even though it's busy at the vaccum parking area, always take the time to park on the side to at least look at your car. We thought it was odd that the car ahead of us still had soap suds on its backside. We thought nothing of it and just drove home. That's when I saw that my back side had soap suds as well and still dirty. This car wash feels too fast not like the older facilities where your car remains stationary and the rollers go around you with multiple passes. This is our second time using this facility. First time was great; got all the dirt off and well-rinsed. Today's wash was a downgrade, like they modified the programming or something. read more

We came to this location and it's actually pretty cool. The only thing is the other customers who take their sweetass time vacuuming their cars and other what not. I got hassled by two staff members when I was half-way done vacuuming. I am disabled, had parked in the stall at the end marked for disabled and posted my placard. After wiping down my windows and mirrors, I vacuumed the right side and back of my SUV. It seemed humbug to only have one hose instead of 2, but I did my best to finish up the driver's side. The staff said I couldn't vacuum in that stall, but they hadn't offered any solutions. They apologized to the people next to me, but not to me, despite having the same trouble as them (having only one hose). Though I paid the same $20 as others, I was the one made to look criminal for a random policy and poorly designed accommodations for what was clearly labeled "van accessible disabled parking". The manager that scolded me said that disabled spot was "only for disabled people to go into the office." Seriously? No one was there directing traffic. I didn't get to finish vacuuming my car so where's my refund? I won't be bullied by your staff again, ever. Disgraceful! read more

Dear Stan, I was taken aback after reading your response. So much that it took me a few days to respond. I'm not sure where you obtained the information to train your attendants on how to display the "shaka" sign. If you need reference, you can watch the clips shown after the channel 2 news on how locals give the Shaka sign. They've been showing shakas since the 1970's. I know because I've been watching KHNL 2 news at least 50 of my 60 years living in Hawaii. Try You Tube. The Santa Claus at Honolulu Hale shows a huge shaka every year. I'm born and raised so there was no misinterpretation. First, the pinky sticks out along with the thumb. Second, rolling of the eyes after I waved hello is not considered part of the shaka sign and definitely not indicative of the aloha spirit. I never imagined that I needed to get out of my car and inspect how well my car got washed before I left the car wash. I figured it would've done a good job the first time around. Probably the worst car "wash" ive ever been to . Giving it 2 stars for the really nice girl helping with the POS and payment but the actual wash was terrible. Every horizontal portion of my car was semi washed. You could see the the mop brush lines on the sides and back meaning the outlines were still dirt. All of my lights, chrome and windows still had dirt water spots on it and the tires were basically untouched. I ended up going home and using their complimentary towel to try and wipe it off but really should have just rewashed my car myself. Really unfortunate as this place has good reviews. read more

These are the kind of car washes I crave! $15 gets you all perfectly cleaned again and then they even offer complimentary vacuums! It's a totally modern car wash and if you shop at Costco you can actually get a card for here for 33% less on 5 car washes. Which is totally worth it if you're living on island. Staff are nice the only downside is there is a 10 minute limit with using the vacuums so be prepared to have your car cleaned out before hand and just really vacuum like a mad person. 10 minutes on island with sand goes by fast but besides that this car wash is it. I love an automatic car wash that really cleans your car and the vacuum is an added bonus even if it is just a 10 minute limit. UPDATE: I tried the suggestion of not worrying about wiping my car down. Did it one day since they were busy, and just to see if it's true that I won't get any water spots - lo and behold, NO WATER SPOTS! *surprised face emoji* Although, I still wiped my tire wells when I got home (because I'm OCD like that) but if you just want to get your ride nice and clean again without worrying about water spots, this is the place to go. I was really excited to try this hype up car wash. KSSK plays their advertisements every morning! So I bought their car wash card from Costco for $56 for 5 washes. Went to the Waipio one and there was a short line. Got to the front swiped my card and waited for my turn. The wash takes you through just take your foot off the brake and enjoy the ride. My first thought was how short the wash was and wondered if it would actually clean my car. Well it did but not like I expected. Maybe my expectations were too high from all the hype. I'm not sure if I'll used them again. If I do it will be for the $49 monthly unlimited washes which is a deal considering it $20 per wash. The only caveat is the pass only good for the same car. So being able to go as many times during the month is great! If you haven't tried it and see for yourself. Oh they also give you a chammy and the vacuums are free to use. read more

My poor car desperately needed a bath, so went to a familiar place. I hadn't been here in awhile & waffled between here or Tony's. Both places are about the same price. Tony's is $19, wiki express. Here, it's $20 & and seems to offer more than Tony's. Since it was a Saturday AM, thought for sure they'd be busy with cars lined up on the road. As I turned in, there was only 1 car ahead of me. You drive up & are greeted by a friendly attendant who assists you with payment. Even though the machine is easy enough to use, it still makes it helpful, especially if you hadn't been there in awhile. They offer only 1 type of carwash - Diamond Wash. Attendant hands you a blue paper towel for use. He was also nice enough for me to take a Yelp pic. As you approach the car wash, another attendant directs you, then you get to relax for a few minutes. It went pretty quick . I think I was there less than 10 minutes from the time I drove in until I drove out. They offer free use of their vacuums but I noticed the parking spaces for these are always full. Very pleased with the friendly staff & quick service. I highly recommend it. I would have given them a 5 but was in sticker shock on the price increase where they used to be less than $15 just a few yrs ago. But as to be expected, prices eventually go up. read more

Came in around Friday in the morning. It had just stopped raining a bit, so there were only a few cars out vacuuming. When I pulled in, there were no other cars so I pulled right up to the machine and the attendant helped me check out. There is another attendant to help you with centering your car and helps remind you to put the car into neutral. The car wash itself was very quick. Maybe 20-30 seconds. Brought back many nostalgic memories going in similar machines as a kid :) Drove out to the complimentary vacuums right after, so that was a huge plus. Got rid of months of sand and dirt. There was another attendant cleaning and sweeping around vacuums. Also had hand sanitizer at each vacuum station. All in all, I will definitely be back :) service is quick an easy.
