The quality has dropped. The rollers used to clean the roof line of my truck and move down to the bed cover. It does not do that anymore. The wipe‑down is also consistently poor. Even with more than five staff working today, my tailgate was still wet. Whether the water came from the bed cover or not, it shows they didn't wipe the truck down thoroughly. read more

I go to this carwash every so often out of convenience. I love that I don't have to get out of my car. I don't expect to have have 100% perfect but the last few times that I have gone my car hasn't be wiped thoroughly.I was there recently an usually purchase the 'Midas Touch' car wash which included 'tire shine. When the empoyees are done they usually wave you off and your drive away. I got back to work and thought to check my car and notice that both tires on the driver's side had no trie shine. There were at least 5-6 people there. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I left a $10 tip. Very dissappointing! read more

Don't ever go there! Worst service I've experienced. They don't even clean your car properly, you'll leave with dirt and smudges still all over it. I got the Midas touch $24 It was my first time here & definitely my last. The 2 guys at the end was so quick as if we were being rushed out. We pulled over next to the dealership which is next door & talk about half ahss. My car was still wet & dirty here & there, those 2 guys did a terrible job wiping it down. I had gone to this car wash on multiple occasions and purchased the golden touch package with no complaints prior to this. However on December 23rd 2025 I received inadequate service. I asked the individual cleaning the inside of my car to do additional wipe down and I still left dissatisfied after going inside to inform the individual sitting at the desk and still tipping them $40 since it was the holidays . He only said that he'll talk to them about it. I would say if this is the service that they intend to keep giving, never go here for complete car cleaning services. Make the trip to go to McKinley Car Wash in Honolulu for better overall detailing because they care about the service they provide and quality every time and if you simply want an outside wash go to 7Eleven honestly. read more

Not too bad of a car wash, will probably come back. Lucked out to get in line on a Sunday around noontime with only 2 cars ahead. You pull up to a kiosk to select your options, but there's usually an attendant there to select for you. You also pay right then and there. Selected the Midas Touch for $22 cause I really needed extra attention to the tiire rims, and added full service ($25) for interior cleaning. Once you pull up it'll have your washing plan/options lit up, and they'll mark your window with a wax crayon. It's the typical pull up, put into neutral, and go through the tunnel with neon lights galore. The clean water rinse and vacuum are pretty short, but once done you pull out to the shaded tent area where a couple of guys with chamois towels dry your vehicle. Drying is okay. You'll be in your car up to the next point for vacuuming. For the interior full service cleaning, you'll then pull up to the vacuum stations and one of the guys will come with a cart to vacuum and wipe down all the interiors. He did a pretty good job getting the major crumbs and all the crap out of the door/trunk seals and jams. Just don't expect detail-level kind of work. It took about 50 mins from start to finish. There's a shadded bench area with vending machines to wait for the full service portion. Monthly pass seems to be a good deal for if you plan to get 3+ washes a month. read more

It's been a few years since I had my car washed and backing up into a stall with the dirty and water spotty side mirrors with the sun beaming behind you make parking difficult. Because if this, I decided it was time to get a car wash and come to Gold Touch. Because I lived in SoCal and Las Vegas for over 15-years, it looked similar to the car washes I went to and I had high hopes for this place. Got off of work on time at 3 pm and made it to Gold Touch at about 3:30-ish. A came down Farrington highway, driving past St Joseph's church and made a right into the driveway to Gold Touch. I think they're owned by Midas as they are on the same property and I think the best car wash offer is called Midas. Luckily, it wasn't busy so I was able to take my time to figure out where to go for the car wash as I followed the yellow cones and signs for the car wash entry. I finally made it to the machine and was greeted by a nice young man that went through the monthly membership program at $39.99 a month per car and an additional $5 for each car. I have three in my household. I opted for the Midas car wash at $20 as this was my first experience with them and I wanted to be sure this was the right fit for me. The Midas included all of what the car wash had to offer, see picture for the menu. However, I also paid an extra $20 for quick detail. I had family over and there's so much sand in the car. It needed it. But I also expected more for a quick detail. I'll explain later. For those that moved back to HI from SoCal or Las Vegas, I think you already understand what I'm getting at. As I made my way to the car wash machine, I was greeted by two guys that led me onto the track, put the car in neutral as they scrubbed the car down on both side as I coasted into the car wash. Red 5 needed that scrubbing. As I got out, I didn't know where to go next for the Quick Detail and asked a young lady to which she said, "oh aunty, go over there (point to the small gazebo), we go wipe down you car first and then you go to the vacuum station!" Two to four people wiped down my car and I was flagged to follow them to a vacuum stall. I made sure to tell the attendant to wipe the inside window in the back because it was dusty. He said Ok Aunty. It doesn't matter or not if you leave the key with them and so I sat in the waiting area. By this time, it was 3:45 and a line forming to go through the car wash. Whew! Got there just in time. Around 4:05, I was flagged down that my car was done. Quick explanation that the attendant did his best to get the grass out of the carpet but it's really ingrained. No worries, I tell him. I appreciated the explanation and attempt to do so. Although I was happy that the carpet and seats were vacuumed, I was disappointed that there was still dust on the dash, the spilled soda stain on the front passenger door was still there, that my cupholders weren't cleaned and the dust on my front window was still there. I guess my expectation was too high since this would have all been done if I were in SoCal or Las Vegas. Up there, the car wash and quick detail doesn't only include vacuum but also includes Armor All to the entire interior and exterior of the car, including tires and rim. Two to four guys working on your car at one time. All this for $40. Oh! And the ones on the mainland give you fragrance to choose from. Coconut was my favorite. Sadly, not in HI. I did go to the car wash and quick detail in Waipio once, by the car dealership, and got the vacuum and car wash for $50. Also no armor all. So I at least saved $10. So I guess this is the standard in HI; quick detail means vacuuming. Because all the employees here gave great customer service, I give this experience 3-stars. read more

Top car wash level is $22 now. Not $20. Ok deal still. For $2 more than that waipio car wash I reviewed, you get a human pressure washing/rinsing your car beforehand. Spinners are slower than what I'm used to seeing. But maybe that's why they say they are "gentle" on their signage. Top side spinner to me was questionable. It spun too slow and only did one pass. Paying the highest price, I thought it would do multiple passes. But in the end, car came out very clean. When you exit, more humans to wipe your car down and clean up your rims. I'll bring my family car with kids next time. They like car washes like it's an amusement park ride. read more

Started coming here the last couple months and this place is awesome where else can you get a monthly membership starting at $32 a month they do general scrub before you go in the wash with pressure washing and they wipe your car down after. They have a vacuum station it's $3 for 5 mins or you can opt for them to vacuum for you and clean your windows for $25 extra. Definitely worth the membership. read more

I happened to be in this town while running errands and needed a car wash. A quick Yelp search returned this car wash place. GPS took me down a wrong road at first as there's only one way you can enter into the car wash. The attendants directed us through the cone-marked line. The line was very short, not long at all. I think there may have been only one or two cars in front of us. I love that. In town, it's such a super long wait. The price was very reasonable. I don't remember exactly how much but it was under $20 for sure. Everything else was routine. The attendant directs you to the start, tells you to put it in neutral, you get pushed through, and done. I would definitely go again if I happen to be in the area. The super short line and price are totally worth it. read more

Always good. Only real complaint, if any, is the guys doing the tire dressing sometimes forget that are are four wheels and so if one person is doing the left side and other person forgets the right side, you end up with asymmetric tire dressings. Recommend having one guy in charge of all four tires so they don't miss. Otherwise, always nice to come here. It's almost therapeutic haha~ read more

So I've driven by here so many times, but have only gotten my car washed in town and in Kapolei or Waipio. On a recent Sunday, I had been at LCC and thought I'd stop by. There was quite a line outside and I was regreting my decision to get in it, but it wasn't too long of a wait. I bought the highest grade wash and the high school staff were helpful in getting my car lined up and drying them off at the end. The reason I won't be back is that the vacuum is like $2 for 4 minutes. I really like to vacuum my car, and I didn't realize that vacuuming wasn't included. If you're more interested in outer wash, then this place is just fine. Just wasn't for me. read more

I dont expect much from a car wash place sorry its just my opinion. I normally wash my own car since I am normally super OCD on how my car is cleaned. But since I am currently prego I have been coming to have my car washed. I have a 4runner so let me tell you when my husband and I do deep cleaning on our cars at home we take over 3hours to get it washed and waxed and vacuumed so I dont expect a car wash to be as good as that especially when it only takes like 5 mins in the car wash lolz. It cleans just enough for it not to bother me for now. The guys over there are nice and by how much cars go through that car wash I know they are really tired. If your expecting a really clean car like top tier, please take the time to wash it yourself lolz because there is no drive through car wash that will satisfy you. read more

Tried them out, didn't expect it to be expensive due to its location in Waipahu. I opted for the Midas Touch wash which is the highest level for $20. One thing good is they provide jobs for energetic young people. It's newer and cleaner than most places. You have to take a couple tight turns into the car wash and line up your tires into the tracks. After the wash, I had 4-5 guys wipe the car down. I gave them $4 tip. So it ends up being $24. Was my car amazing after? Yes, pretty good considering it was filthy before I went. Will I go again? Idk. I saw they offered a monthly plan of $39.95 but I need to check into the details. read more

I rented a car from Turo. They require you to wash the car upon return. So, we hit up Gold Touch. It's a typical drive through car wash but then they hand dry the car after you exit the wash. They did a quality job on the car. Once they're done drying the car, you can vacuum your own car for two bucks. It was a decent value. read more

Came here for a wash since I am a unlimited plan holder. I pay monthly for this. This time I added $20 not including tax for interior cleaning. But so disappointed! They just vacuumed my car and didnt even wipe down the dash board and cup holders. Not even the door panels! I ended up cleaning it on my own. Also! Again they dont wipe your car down good! Hard to find a car wash that's comes close to the Mexican ones in Los Angeles. I think this is the closest thing I can find. Easy process. Pull in, select the kine wash you like and drive through. I ordered the full service where they clean the inside and outside of the car. Cool people. Even went inside for change. Went on a day that was drizzling so nevah have line. The only thing they don't do here that they do on the mainland is Armor All the interior and exterior of the car. But I understand this is Hawaii and it is what it is. Gold Touch Car Wash is the best car wash I've been to and very efficient as well as priced really good! I first tried the Gold Wash as a test. When you enter the car wash there's no tight turns to get your car into the was tunnel like some other car wash places. Their crew sprays the car first before having it go through the wash tunnel and the brushes they use aren't the high speed bristles you normally see but seems to be soft foam pads. As they say it massages your car without damaging the paint. They even do a full wipe down of the whole car after the wash! I was so impressed I went in to subscribe to their monthly unlimited plan for $39.95 which includes dressing the tires all at unlimited times a month! Very friendly staff as well!!! read more
