The car was does a good job and with the costco gift card (5 washes for ~$50) it is a great value. I like that they have the undercarriage spray. I recommend bringing your own chamois to get the remaining water off. You can also use the vacuum stations after for however long you want after. For those, bring a massage gun to kick up the sand while you vacuum. It doesn't beat a hand wash and wax but it is good when you need something fast. I went to this carwash for the first time and absolutely loved it. After you get your carwash ( basic $21) then you head to the vacuum area where you vacuum your own vehicle. Each station has two vacuums and works really well. I would recommend bringing your own towels to wipe down your vehicle. They do give you a small cloth for mirrors. I honestly think $21 for a wash and unlimited vacuuming is a great deal. It was super fast and easy. I wish we had one in town where unlimited vacuuming is included. I never feel my car gets vacuumed well when they have vacuumers. I would highly recommend, it's a great value! read more

TBH, I have been neglecting washing my car and getting a car wash because of 1) the distance and 2) the cost. We were running an errand nearby so decided to stop over to this car wash place in Kapolei. It's across from the Wet N Wild off the H1. We have been here before a while back so I knew that this place was good. You know a place is good when it is a weekday and it's packed with vehicles. There were many trucks, Teslas, and other vehicles lined up in all of the lines. They have 3 lines for purchase but the very left is only for monthly memberships. However, there are attendants at all 3 stations to help with paying. They only have 1 type of car wash, which makes it super easy. They also provide you with 1 blue "towel," which I put in quotes because it's not really a towel, but like a really hard paper towel thing that's super thin... I would not use that. During the wash, the machines stopped twice. I'm not sure what the reason was, but I have never been "stuck" in a machine before. I'm not sure if it was just the amount of people trying to get washes during the day. After the wash experience, you drive through to the next station where you can wipe down your car and vacuum. They have a lot of spaces to accommodate cars. Just make sure you hit the button if you want to start the vacuum. It turns off after a few minutes too so you may need to push the button again and again if you have been vacuuming for a period of time. Tip: Bring your own microfiber cloths if you want to do a wipe down after. They do not have any. They do have vacuums for use (self-service) after the wash. read more

Oh how big this location is compared to original location at Waipio. If you ever in need of quick car wash, come here and check it out. Great part is that they have two lines go to pay before wash and even more stalls for vacuums after wash. Best deal $20 per wash, with free self vaccum, no need coins. The only junk part if the line gets pretty long so it took awhile to get out after wash/vaccum. I came in mid afternoon on Sunday, my timing was bad. I am one satisfied customer. My parents told me my car was disgusting and handed me their card to go get it washed. So off I went after work on Monday night... I don't always vacuum out my car after I get it washed, but my car definitely needed it on Monday, so I pulled around to the vacuums after my car went through the tunnel. I finished vacuuming up the floor rugs, and decided to vacuum out the little handle puka in the door, and as soon as I stuck the vacuum nozzle in there, I heard something get sucked up into the vacuum. I looked and the little plastic liner that used to be in there was gone. I instantly knew it had gone up in the vacuum and I argued with myself about whether I should just let it go or ask one of the employees. My car is a little older, and I knew finding a replacement part for that would be next to impossible so off I went in search of an employee. I found one sweeping up around the parking lot and asked him if he could help me out, and he was so so so wonderfully helpful. He emptied out the vacuum filter into the garbage bin below it and was digging through the dust for over five minutes, trying to find this little piece of plastic. When he couldn't find it, he figured it might still be up in the hoses above us, so he called over two other employees to help him evacuate the hoses. After about 15 minutes, they finally found the piece and I was so relieved! The staff went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND, and I am so grateful for their help finding that little piece for my car! I received a voicemail today from Genesis in corporate office that my account had been inactive for two months and was wondering if I needed to cancel or change the vehicle on record. WHAAAAT??? I bought this for my daughter over a year ago and she hasn't been using it which is fine but wasted money on my part so I called back and switched vehicles over to my husband's vehicle. The reason for this review is because I have NEVER heard of a company checking to make sure you still want your subscription when it's been inactive. Free money why should they care? Not a lot of drive thru car washes in town so made the drive to Kapolei. Super easy and fast - probably took 10min total from paying to getting out the wash. I did the standard for $20 and my car was cleaner than other drive thru washes in the past, including a nice shine. Lots of stalls for complimentary vacuuming which is a major plus. Tbh, I haven't given my car a thorough wash in probably a year so there was def bird buildup on my car (I park outside under trees at work). Rick, the owner, was walking around doing quality checks on the cars while I was vacuuming and offered me another run through the wash to help get the extra buildup off lol. Love that they want to make sure their customers are taken care of. Sadly, the buildup was too stubborn but did come off a little more. Rick gave me a couple solutions to taking it off which I also appreciated. I'm thankful for CarWash808 and Rick going above and beyond for my experience here! This place is pretty packed because there's not very many express washes on the island or near me, but it's as good as quick quack or Mister car wash that's on the mainland. The only thing they didn't have was the air hose to blow out your door handles, and Windows stuff like that. It was $20 for a good wash so the value is fair especially for the pricing on the island. read more

Happened to be there in my car and hubs said it needed a bath. Baby never been in a car wash so thought she may enjoy it. Never been to that one so was pretty amazed that at 9-ish, it was so crowded. The drive-thru part was busy too...left lane was hella short so we went there. Whoobs, it was for members. The signage is only on the arm to let you in so we had no clue. The workers didn't seem to mind and they were so nice letting us know it was fine, and just to pay at the window. $20 ish. Same-ish as McKinley, just without the guys to dry the car. Went through...baby did NOT like it. She seemed scared but didn't do much other than whimper. She lived. My car is nice and clean. I didn't inspect, but at first glance she shiny! My friend even commented on how nice it looked (maybe just cuz it's normally filthy?). I won't drive out there just for a car wash, but totally worth it if i'm out there. read more

The only reason I gave it one star is because the employees are nice. The soap was literally left on I COULD SEE the bubbles. Afterwords the dryers didn't work my car came out completely spotted! We got the 5 carwash deal for $50 from Costco and it's totally worth it! Checking in was super quick and easy. The attendants were friendly and helpful. They took care of the wipers and even gave us a disposable towel to dry the car before we enter the tunnel car wash. After the wash, we vacuumed our car and we did not feel rushed because there were a lot of of vacuum stalls available. We'll be back for sure and probably get another Costco Carwash Card. read more

Very convenient way to get a car wash in Kapolei. We usually come here when we are in the area. It's a great deal if you buy the 5 washes for a deal at Costco. The savings are definitely worth it. Friendly employees, efficient system, and plenty of vacuums. Prime time is usually the weekends around 6-7pm. I'd avoid that time, otherwise it should be a fairly quick stop. Recommend! read more

Heard about this spot from my brother and he, absolutely loves it that, his a monthly subscriber to their car wash package so...here I am driving some miles just to experience "his" car wash. I must say this place is clean and well-organized. I love that they have an area where you can go and wipe down your car after the wash and give it a good vacuum. The vacuum is free for use. They were pretty busy and it was about 11a when I went. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely!!! I just love the convenience of this location. Right off the freeway in Kapolei. The drive thru has 3 entrances which merge into the car wash. Everything moves fairly smoothly and they provide a drying cloth as you enter. The wash itself is really nice. I like the Diamond wash and it does a great job. After the wash you can pull into one of the many drying/ vacuum bays. Vacuums for both sides of the car along with garbage containers to get rid of clutter. Music is piped through the outdoor speakers which is a nice touch. There's plenty of room between bays too which is great. Awesome place to pamper your car. Great location. We have been coming here for a bit now and happy that they opened up this location as its bigger. We use to go to the Waipio location a lot but started coming here. When I arrived today, I was greeted by a very nice employee. They usually have employees to greet you and they are always so friendly. They have recently raised their prices from $15 to $20 a wash but they also have packages to purchase as well and monthly subscriptions. We usually purchase the buy 3 washes get one free. It use to be $45, but just raised to $60. This Car Wash Express is great! You drive through and can choose to wipe down and vacuum if you choose. The wipe down and vacuum area is bigger than Waipio and has about 18 stalls. The stalls are big enough that both vehicles can have their doors open which is also great. The car wash itself is not bad at all for the price. Sometimes, there is still some bird poop stuck onto my vehicle but nothing a wipe can't fix. We also found that the dryer is not as strong as the Waipio location but it works. I love that you can stay there to wipe down and vacuum which makes it a one stop shop. The vacuums are strong but wish was a bit stronger. Sometimes, they can't pick up little pieces of grass so I need to go home and to use my vacuum. I would definitely recommend this Car Wash Express especially if you need a quick wash! read more

My car has been through so much in my clumsy hands and there isn't much more I can do besides taking it to a spectacular spa skinny dipping in a tunnel of cool splash and this Kapolei location is absolutely a great place more so since they have three times more space to vacuum and reset your ride to something you can be personally proud of. Downloading the (CarWash 808 Express) app is the first step to convenience as you can purchase washes and get deals (buy 3 get 1 free...etc) and when you drive up all you need to do is hit the "redeem wash" link to be right on your way. The wash path is quick yet very thorough from top to underside with the impressive dry zone which practically takes majority of the water right off so the touchup microfiber towel they give you finishes up all the little droplets. You then drive to an open pod to vacuum and clean out anything you want to discard and all that is just within minutes...poof!!! Recently, they called me because I had an account that I hadn't use for two months (because I had gotten a new car and I don't use it at all so it sits at home). Bought a fundraiser ticket for this place so decided to try it out. I work in Campbell so my car gets dusty fast and I go to a car wash near my home at least once a week and pay $15.00 each time. A worker greeted me when I pulled up and I told him this was my first time so I wasn't sure what to do. He inputted my ticket information and said all I need to do to drive up to the car wash. He gave me a complimentary towel and offered to tape down my wipers which I declined. As I pulled up, there was another man there motioning which was to position my car and then pointed to the instructions - which were clear. I admit I was nervous about leaving my car in neutral but everything flowed very smoothly. When I was able to take a look at my car later on, I was actually very happy at the results. Much much cleaner and shinier than when I get my $15 car wash. So much so that I actually looked up how much membership costs and was even happier to find that a membership would be cheaper ($50) than going to get a $15 mediocre car wash once a week. It's been 3 days and my car still looks great. The only thing that made me nervous was that I wasn't sure when I was supposed to get my car out of neutral during the car wash. You would think id instinctively know this but alas, I am a timid nervous driver. However I think once I start going every week, I'll be able to figure this out. read more

The operation moves very efficiently and has many bays to wipe down your car. This location is very spacious and when you're inside the car wash, you don't feel claustrophobic. I would highly recommend this car wash as there's vacuums at each bay and you don't have to share. You can go to Costco and buy 5 car wash coupons for $49. Great deal. read more
