They send you a huge bill with no explanation what it is for, and the staff have no idea how to submit an insurance claim. Three different staff told me three different prices for what my insurance would be, and then insurance didn't even cover any of their expensive lotions and devices. This place gives terrible care that will make you feel worse and charge you an arm and a leg for it, even if you have insurance. A total scam - avoid at all costs.

I went to see Dr. Niemi for a hammer toe consult. He recommended the toes be corrected. On my first follow up visit, all was as expected. Dr. Niemi did not remove the stitches at that time. On my second follow up visit, sutures were removed, with one toe being infected. He gave me an antibiotic and he was not that concerned; however in "my chart", he wrote that I did not come in with my bandage on. This was not true as his assistant had taken it off. For the next 3 follow up visits, he was so very pleasant in the office and then proceeded to write in "my chart" that I was basically non compliant with my treatment. It is 4 months post surgery and although healed, my toes are red, swollen and have a deformity to them. I contacted the admin in the office and they never called me back. When I called them for a third time, they gave me the UNC relations board. I have filed a formal complaint, although I know this won't do anything. Sorry to be so wordy, but i hope this does not happen to anyone else. Yes, I am a disgruntled patient, but so I should be. Please do not use Dr. Niemi. Also, if you can bring someone with you so the Admin cannot say, "what he wrote is valid because I have no proof otherwise. Basically, it was his word against mine"

The nurse took 2 X-rays and Mr. Stylski came in for exactly 5 minutes to speak with us and "examine" him and send us on our way. My husband suffers from numerous diseases/illnesses which include MS and Parkinsons. Mr.Stylski simply told us that he has plantar fasciitis and to wear orothotic shoes and then he sent us away with a list of shoes. He later posted on my husband's MyChart that my husband showed no signs of a list of symptoms which was COMPLETELY WRONG! My husband suffers every single day of his life with ALL of the symptoms that Mr Stylski said he doesn't have ...which is miserable for my husband. Mr. Stylski never took the time to look at my husband's history, or the intake paperwork, or to even speak to my husband. We were worth EXACTLY 5 minutes of Mr. Stylski's time, To make matter worse, when I wrote him on MyChart and spoke my mind, he OUTRIGHT LIED saying he offered an MRI and gave an additional diagnosis. Now he is just trying to cover his rear. What a terrible "doctor" with absolutely no morals and ethics. He should have his license revoked.

They removed a bone in the side of my second toe right foot but afterward my toe was leaning. The doctor who performed the surgery didn't know how to fix my toe (red flag) so they had to get Dr. Hauser. Dr. Hauser made my toe worst. Now the 3rd party billing office says they can't do anything since it's a collections account, and the local office won't help, and the "regional office manager" won't call back. This business seems to be unethical and borderline scammers. Unbelievable.

From the extreamly kind ladies at the front desk to the wonderful person that cared for my feet the professionalism of the staff here is why I love this place. Previously i acquired my orthotics from one of their competitors but for some odd reason my pain never got better rather it regressed to a much worse state. After months of wobbling and barely walking I made an appoint with Dr. Varca at the VA whom is the best podiatrist working at the VA. Despite his inability to teller where to go he was able to recommend this clinic tucked in the basement of what appears to be the Duke chapel. This gem is literally hard to find because it hides in an offshoot of the roundabout that if one was not looking they would miss their turn. Now if you struggle opening doors hit the handicap button because their door is quiet heavy. Once you enter one of the super nice ladies will ask you to sign in and have a seat.
