Lady (sorry didn't get name) was very helpful by asking what kind of flowers my wife likes and dislikes, how much I wanted to spend them assured me they would deliver them to hotel to be placed in my wife's room. I called Cary Florist today, from out of state, to order a get well bouquet of flowers. Lexi was very courteous on the phone and said the flowers would be at the recipient's house by 6pm. They were delivered well before then and are absolutely beautiful! I think they were delivered within a couple hours from my phone call. I bought flowers for my girlfriend on the 27th of May for her birthday on the 28th of May on they claim to have same delivery but I asked them to deliver them on the 28th and the info was correct but my girlfriend has yet to receive them and I e-mailed them on Monday if I don't hear anything by the end of the week not only will this be the last time but I will never ever deal with this flower shop again and my girlfriend was pretty disappointed she didn't receive them yet and she kept reminding me about and both of us are pretty disappointed read more

Recently I needed some flowers for a memorial service. I didn't have all the details and I had a limited budget as well. Janice did a great amount of research and took care of all the details for me. Deaths are upsetting and she was so sensitive and kind as I was having trouble articulating my needs. She made several calls and emails for me to get information. Her communication was top notch. I've never gone to a florist before but I didn't like this place. I ordered two items online one week prior to pick up however, when I came to pick up the items only one was ready. The people in the shop had me wait for about 20min as they looked for the other item before realizing it had never been made and then asking me to return in an hour so they could make it. I understand it was a busy weekend and everyone was very apologetic but this exact same experience also happened to my friend. I just used Cary Florist for my wedding flowers last month. The people there are friendly and they are able to provide beautiful arrangements; however, my experience causes me to caution others who do not wish to be negativity surprised on their wedding day. I received an e-mail from Cary Florist a couple of days before my wedding saying that many of the flowers they ordered for my arrangements did not ship to them in time. They promised to replace with flowers that matched my colors. They brought my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets with colors that were NOT in my color scheme of pink and coral only---my bouquets that arrived included my coral color, but also yellow and a maroon/purple/burgundy color. I ended up calling someone in the wedding party (2 hours before ceremony) to pick up pink Whole Foods flowers, and I sat and re-made all of my bouquets only one hour before the wedding because they clashed so badly with the bridesmaids dresses. That was stressful. I would likely not have posted this review if not for the difficult time I received from Cary florist after this mishap. My mother and sister asked for a refund on bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquets or at least to cover cost of additional flowers we bought to re-do bouquets at the wedding, but they were unwilling and claimed that the flowers were in the color pallet. read more

Stopped in here for the first time to get a floral arrangement for an elderly friend. The staff were very helpful and accomodating in making the arrangement with exactly the flowers I requested, and although they were temporarily out of the handmade chocolates that I wanted to accompany the flowers, (they hadn't received their shipment because of the hot weather) they very kindly agreed to deliver, with the flowers, some other chocolates that I was able to purchase in town, at no added cost to me. I was very impressed with their kindness, knowledge and accomodating nature, as well as the quality and selection of flowers. My order was confirmed by email, with a picture of the flower bouquet I had ordered. The bouquet was beautiful and arrived at the appointed time. Although the flowers were pretty they were nothing like what I ordered. I paid extra for the deluxe arrangement and I question if that's what was delivered. It was much smaller than was depicted and the colors weren't even close. For $109.00 they should at least be in the ballpark, or they should call and give the option of choosing something else. I ordered flowers via the North Raleigh website. I selected the 8 to 2 time frame and submitted my order after filling out everything else needed. Since this was the first time EVER using this website, I had no idea that North Raleigh and Cary Florist were pretty much one in the same. Well, at 12:44 pm, I called the store to see if it was delivered. I was told no, there is a deliver before 4 on the order because there was no time on the order. I said I entered 8 to 2 and my husband gets off at 3. I was told that his would be the next order. Well again, the guy who was doing the delivery called me at exactly 2:59 pm with the order. I said he gets off at 3, so I had to call my husband. He had left the job when I finally got in contact with him. He had to turn around and go back to work to pick up the balloon bouquet. I called today to express my displeasure in the delivery and I spoke to 3 different people. I got plenty of "I am sorry" but the accusatory finger pointing back to me saying I didn't put a time on the order when I know I did. I can't explain why it didn't show, but if there was any uncertainty in a delivery time, why not call my number that appeared on the receipt instead of calling my husband's job who gave him the wrong information of a 4:00 time he gets off? Then she offers me a store credit. Not sure why I would take that whenever the first impression/experience wasn't the best. read more
