My 2006 Lexus IS250 was sent to CarZone in Irving Texas to have a new engine replaced. I paid 1,100.00 for a New Engine to be put in my car, I also paid 1,100.00 from another card for the labor. I got my car back in worse condition. My air & music no longer works in my car, my back windows won't let down as well. The main thing is I had my car sent to this shop for an engine replacement and I didn't receive the service. I have proof of the same engine in my car from before it was dropped off. I got my car back with check engine lights still on, same engine and not the New one I paid for, I was told by a worker (Ronaldo) that the engine was sent back to LKQ because it wasn't an engine problem. I was recommended to this place by a friend. My truck got towed there and I spoke to Ali about what was needed. He was friendly, reliable, and responsive to my concerns. It's hard to trust body shops specially when you aren't familiar with pricing or even car parts. Price was fair based upon my findings. No regrets, I would bring my truck here again! Negative stars negative stars negative stars. GO TO R&A AUTO IN FT. WORTH, I promise you!! Please be mindful, if you don't know much about cars. I towed it here at the suggestion of the tow(they are cousins), was told they'd have good prices and would work with me. I was desperate as I had to come out of pocket because I had liability insurance. Told me $4400 and gave me a run down on the parts and labor costs after I asked. $2700 on parts that they listed for me. I ended getting all the parts they suggested I needed and more because they didn't list all I actually ended up needing for $1400. The mark up was over 100%. After speaking with other places I realized I was being scammed and wanted to take my car elsewhere, but they wanted to charge me $220 for my tow and $300 for my estimate. Apparently they are the only shop that can't do an estimate without taking everything apart. This was ludicrous. So I did ask them to just fix my mechanical (radiator support, radiator, coolant reservoir and fan assembly) so I could get my car out of the shop. Not ONCE did they tell me I had to have the hood and headlights to weld my radiator. I found out AFTER they did this that it was gonna have to be redone because you can't properly put the radiator support on without the hood because alignment would be off. I called CarZone and told them I was told it was gonna have to be redone. No they said I would be fine. After paying $840 for labor because I had my own parts sent there I took my car elsewhere and of course it had to be rewelded. I called the shop and told them they asked me to send pictures and I did, this is when he changed his story and said that he told me I had to give them the hood and headlights. Now I have numerous texts back and forth and this was never mentioned to me. I was under the impression that they would do what they could do to get my car out but it would be done correctly. They had my car for 3 weeks. One week waiting on parts and it took them 2 weeks to install my radiator, radiator support (incorrectly I might add), coolant reservoir & fan assembly. I took it to someone else and they fixed their mess and painted my car has it looking brand new in 2 days for fraction of the cost they were charging me. These guys are a rip off. There are also things missing out of my car, personal items and car parts. Go to R&A auto in Ft. Worth it's only 20 min away but will cost you fraction of the price and time. The original estimate they gave me was $4400 and that was with half the parts missing that I ended up having to get. They never quoted me an emblem, and other car parts so I'm estimating it would have probably went up a couple hundred more once they got to repairing my car. I ended up fixing it for $3464 a $1000 less then their original quote. I was told that the work I did have done by CarZone I could've gotten cheaper too. I wasted $1200. Parents offered to pay to get check engine light off as Christmas gift. Took my car in for EGR replacement and charged 400. Check engine light turned on after leaving the shop after 4 separate visits and three weeks without my car and paying for expensive Uber rides. Car actually sounds worse now and vibrates at idle, like the kind that makes your ears pop. Manager is irritable and clearly not helpful so I give up. Saving up and taking my car somewhere that has good customer service. Disappointed but life is unfair, can't do shit about it at this point. read more

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! My claim is that they committed fraud against me and could likely do the same to you. This is what happened: I was in an accident and had my car towed to this lot. Car was declared a total loss by the insurance company, and zero work was done on the vehicle. The repair shop then sent me a bill for $4,850.00. The charges were for: $3,600 for storage - Texas statute, section 85.703 states that a repair shop must send notification of any fees that will be charged BEFORE they can charge any such fees. When I asked the shop for proof of notification, I was told there was no proof. Notification had not occurred, yet they are still trying to charge me thousands of dollars $550 for towing - This charge is actually FRAUD - AAA towed my car to the lot and AAA also covered the cost of that tow, so I don't know where this $550 came from. When I requested a receipt for the cost of the tow, they told me they did not have any receipt. Plus, their website says "free towing with any service". They charged me for the service of a "tear down", so even if they DID have to tow the car (they didn't, AAA towed it), it should have been free of charge according to their own website. $250 for an admin fee, $450 for a tear down. I sent them a letter by certified mail in the attempt to resolve this issue, and no one from the business has contacted me. My next steps are to file complaints with BBB, the Texas attorney general, the licensing commission and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. It is probably in your best interest to find another car repair shop. Edit: Discovered this shop has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have also failed to respond to complaints filed by others in the past. read more

I came to carzone after hitting a median the door with no longer open and the running board will not come down and I had the rims all bent. They fixed it all for a reasonable price. There was only a fuse wrong with the running board they could have told me something else other than the $2 fix and overcharged me but they didn't. Stole the windshield cowl, tried to steal my covered spare off of my car and overcharged me for replacing valve cover gaskets 1500. And I picked it up leaking smoking and pouring oil from the repair, if they will return my windshield cowl I can get over being ripped off on the repair but to steal is beyond wrong read more

Diagnosed my A/C problem right away as well as identified other minor issues with my 1997 Chevy C1500 and fixed those at a reasonable price and minimum wait. While waiting I could not help but overhear owners of this business speaking to their other prospective customers over the phone. Unlike other garages in the area, they do not turn people away based on the time they call for assistance. I called them at 1130 am on a Friday and they did not hesitate and me to bring the car in. Several called later in the afternoon and they received the same response. Many garages will not provide this type of service. They did not request that I leave the car nor that they would be able to get to it tomorrow. They repaired my A/C and completed the other minor repairs in a respectable time and so far all is working well. They indicated the repair comes with a one year warranty. Yes, I will be seeing them again for additional auto repairs. I believe I have found a good and thoughtful mechanic here in Irving, TX. read more
