Stopped in 1/4/26 for a treat. Left wishing we skipped the "treat." We ordered the ground beef chimichangas , the beef was so salty and seemed moistened with water, the pico de gallow was also salty, the rice was lukewarm at best. If this was my first visit it would be my last. No we did not say anything UNTIL we were checking out. I will not send food back for fear of what they would do to it with a complaint. Came here for lunch today. They just opened this week, so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant and building was clean and colorful. It's also quite spacious with many tables and booths. We were seated right away and our server was very prompt. I got the Enchiladas Casa Amigos and my friend got the lunch chimichanga. The enchilada plate was a great size and I love that it came with corn on top. Had a nice cheese sauce on it as well. It was very good. My friend got the lunch chimichanga which is a smaller chimi. She said it was good too. The menu itself is huge. They offer a lot of options that I haven't had before. The prices are a bit more expensive, however the main portions seem pretty large. Came in because the ratings looked good. Being Mexican, I know it's hard to go in knowing Mexican restaurants typically are not "authentic" as people taste them to be, but I thought I'd give it a try. I asked the waiter what he recommends from three item I chose. Carne adamant, Chile Verde, or carnitas. He said the carne asada. I was already skeptical because it was Ribeye. Real carne asada is not made from Ribeye. So I went with that. The meat was bland and way overcooked, and dry. The beans were canned and bland. The rice was crunchy, obviously sat there sitting for a while waiting to be served. It was obviously not stirred to prevent it from getting hard. The staff kept looking at me and even a cook came out and stared at me while walking past me. That was weird. I will most likely not return. read more

This is a large and spacious restaurant that feels like it should be impersonal, but it wasn't. We had a group of three and arrived just after the busy time for dinner. I had the quesadilla ranchera and a medium margarita. The food portions are enormous and the food is really tasty. Our server was very nice and personable. We would definitely come back. read more

There are several Mexican restaurants in our town. We love Mexican food and this is our favorite. Great atmosphere, lots of space, clean, good menu, and great prices. What make this establishment stand out from the rest is the quality of food and getting our order correct every time. The street tacos are consistently wonderful and the Mahi Mahi tacos are huge, flavorful, and the same every time I order. Family members have order a variety of other items and each time are happy with the result. The chips and salsa are crispy, warm, and plentiful. We have yet to finish the basket and our food order is at the table. We have never had to wait to get a table. Make sure you're hungry if you go. read more

I've been in Wisconsin for about a month and I have to say so far. This has been the best place I've eaten at. The food is nice and full of flavor. One plate of food is huge , feeds enough for two or more. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely not an every day thing for me, but I was really happy with the experience and taste. Love any day or night I get to experience Casa Amigos! Always enjoy their food. My favorites: Sampler - TONS of food, and their nachos generally have more toppings than chips which is way better than the opposite from most other restaurants. Very filling Taco salads are wonderful! Rice Plate is my favorite, very generic name but tasty chicken, shrimp and veggies over rice with cheese. Only downfall to rice plate is it's not served with refried beans. I LOVE their refried beans, so much flavor. I honestly search the menu to try something new IF it's served with beans haha Their margaritas are also FANTASTIC! I love their pineapple margarita. Not a fan of syrupy margaritas and they are never made that way. Though I generally only need a small, their medium and large ones are huge! Their outdoor seating in the summer is always a treat. But even their indoor seating has a nice atmosphere with colorful environment. Service is typically great. I would say the only drawback I've ever come across is they don't have the best tool to pick up fajita meats when you order a fajita. It's very difficult to grab. read more

Wow! You would never guess how nice this place is from the outside. But once inside, you'll find it to be decorated very nicely. It is as clean as any restaurant I've been in and the food is just delicious! I had the Monster Burrito tonight and it was honestly one of the best Mexican dishes I've ever tried. The Chipotle sauce had just the right amount of heat and the cheese dip sauce was smooth & creamy. The staff here are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. What can I say? One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ate at in a long time. The decor was interesting and a conversation piece. The staff were friendly and helpful. We brought my 95-year-old grandmother in there and they were extra accommodating for anything that she needed. They make this killer white cheese sauce that they put on the chimichangas. Ask them for a side of this and use it to dip your chips in when they first give you chips and salsa. It's to die for! Reasonably priced a definite must stop! read more

The Salsa and chips were excellent!! Unlike some Mexican Restaurant s, the Salsa was thick with Tomato chunks, onions, peppers and Cilantro. The Mango Margaritas remind me of those I've had in Mexico. The food was plentiful and tasty. Our waiter, "Nacho" had a terrific sense of humor and was efficient and attentive even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Well worth a stop. read more

The food was excellent and portions were large. The menu choices are unbelievably numerous! I had the Carne Asada and it was excellent. My wife had the "Pick Two" dinner and chose the Chimichangas and the Chiles Rellenos which were also excellent. The restaurant was full and the service was still very quick, and the staff very nice.
