Thank you, Casa Bella! We live in Reno and were disappointed to find the same standard sofas in every furniture store. I convinced my husband to shop in Sacramento. Armed with a chart of locations, hours of operation, and brands sold, I dragged him to every decent furniture store in Sacramento. Secretly, I was most excited about Casa Bella Gallery because of the pretty name. So I saved it for last to avoid bias. We had basically found the sofa we wanted at Zgallerie. The Ventura. A deep sofa with a less deep chaise. Mounds of pillows AND modular for holiday rearranging. Expensive :( But I was determined to find the best price. Another store had a knock off in only one color choice that just wouldn't work with our house and the accent pillows that came with the sofa would have to be tossed after purchase due to the hideous pattern that cheapened the entire sofa. Then we entered the small urban Casa Bella and saw our sofa. Ok, a Zgallerie knock off that cost $1000 less for cushions with buttons instead of without buttons. And maybe the seat cushions weren't quite as comfortable sitting, but this is a couch for lying down (5ft deep) with down cushions behind you. The co-owner Rhoda explained about the company and said we could choose the color of the sofa and choose the fabric for the three included accent cushions. She showed us fabric samples in different lighting. She helped us determine measurements, fabrics (so very many choices), and configuration. The sofa arrived in about a month to specifications. Rhoda took pictures of the boxes and provided weights so we could plan transportation. Delivery to Reno was not possible, and I wouldn't have wanted to pay for it anyway. Rhoda and her husband offered to open earlier for our convenience on a Sunday. Shane, Rhoda's husband and co-ow and another man helped us load the massive boxes into our truck bed. Safely. And the boxes made it 3hrs down the highway. Customer service, product, and delivery were top notch! You must shop there to experience for yourself! read more

This is a review after much thought. I was excited to have purchased a "leather" (yes it was sold as leather) sofa and recliner from Casa Bella several years ago when I purchased my first home. Leather is supposed to get more supple and age gracefully. Sadly after just a few years the recliner started to shed the clearly now faux leather surface and now I have to cover it entirely or people who sit there walk away with little black flecks all over their clothes. In the past year the sofa has caught up with the recliner in the shedding. Bottom line: I paid for leather and got cheap faux. I am just now posting this review since I am starting to look at replacing the furniture and will NOT return to Casa Bella to do so. read more

Ok so here's why I gave Casa Bella only 4 stars and not 5. I ordered a special color on my lovely couch so I had to wait, ok no biggie, but there was no communication from the store in the meantime (5 weeks). I had to call to find out it shipped, then I had to call and find out it was at the store, that really bothered me; when there's so many forms of communication these days, text or email would have been fine. Rhoda always seems a bit stressed out anyway so I totally understand not wanting to do a bunch of calls when you have other things to worry about. Which is why a text or email would have been awesome. Okay now, Casa Bella is the best furniture store in Sac for a reason. The furniture is top notch quality, they have fabulous options, even though Miss Rhoda is kind of high strung, she goes out of her way to help you and she's much more patient than you'd think. Everyone that works there is very personable, all the way down to the delivery guys who where extremely nice and very careful setting up my beauty. I shopped here when I had moved cross country from Atlanta to Natomas. I needed a few things and went in not knowing what to expect. I had amazing service in store. Found myself a great couch which I custom ordered pillows for, a unique bookshelf that I still get comments on, and a unique piece by someone local that stuck my eye. I still get great comments on it as well. All my items were delivered to my second story apartment and put together for me. I didn't lift a finger (it was awesome). The worst experience of my life. I live a few blocks away from this establishment so I thought I would purchase a couch from a friendly mom and pop store. Wrong!!!!! I was so wrong. There were 4 major things that went wrong with my overall experience (e.g. visit, purchase and deliver). First off, I came to this store twice before I made the decision to buy the couch. The first time, the owner Rhoda was friendly, so I felt good about buying a couch from her. I returned 2 weeks later and was surprised by the treatment. She did not greet me and followed me around the store the entire time. She didn't seem like she wanted to service me. I paid for the couch and Rhoda stated she would send me an email or phone call to let me know when the couch came in. On the initial delivery day, I waited all day to receive a phone call that notified me when the delivery company will be at my apartment. I did not receive a phone call or email so I called at 2:30pm to inquiry about the delivery time. Rhoda acted shocked and told me the delivery company were on there way and should be there in an hour to deliver my couch. Surprise!!!!!!! The delivery company was her husband and son. I spent the entire day waiting for them to come. When they arrived, I kid you not, they spent 20 minutes in total at my apartment. The first 10 minutes was the husband and son unloading the couch and carrying it upstairs. Once the son got up the stairs, he dropped the couch and walked to the truck for ten minutes. He complained the entire time and did not help his father move the couch into my apartment. After 10 minutes, the father left to get the son. They returned. After not even trying for 2 mintues, the father told me the couch was too big and they would be returning it to the store. I was really disappointed so I called Rhoda. She was completely rude and hung up in my face. She told me she would call to see what happened. After 40 minutes, I called her back and she told me the son was sick to justify his behavior. The son did not look sick from observation. After an hour, I drove to the store to receive a refund. Rhoda did not want to give me the refund instead she tried to convince me to get a smaller couch. I complied because I really needed a new couch plus I had already spent the money. I asked what was the difference for the smaller couch and she avoided my question. Finally after 15 minutes, she told me the difference that she had input into the computer. The information wasn't even the accurate price from the catalog. I asked if I would get the difference back and she stated, "Well, its not that much of a difference, plus I won't be charging you for delivery. " I was astonished at the treatment I was receiving so I just left. And to charge me an additional $80 dollars when the item wasn't even delivered or attempted to be delivered was obsurd. Before, I let she handed me a small elephant centerpiece, I assumed was for not refunding me the difference from the two couches. Fast forward to three weeks (total), I have still have not received my couch or communication. I have to take the time to receive updates because apparently I don't deserve them. Today, I called Casa Bella to see if the couch was delivered to the store. Rhoda picked up and greeted me with in a friendly manner. Once, I said my name her voice changed and she became rude. I wasn't on the phone with her for more than a minute when she said," The couch hasn't come in yet. I will call you when you it does." Then she hung up in my face. I hope anyone who comes in here does their research and looks around first. I should have reacted based on the treatment I received the second time around but I really wanted the couch. I was impatient and that was my fault. I will never purchase from this establishment ever again. I really hope my race did not play a part in my treatment that would be very sad. Lastly, I purchased a Groupon for the store to spend 50 and I get a $100 dollars off. The amount of money that I paid for the couch, I should've had went to Ashley's Furniture Store or Furniture USA for a better couch. There was no discount, I paid full sticker price for the couch plus delivery. To date, I have not been refunded the difference for the smaller couch or the couch which I paid for. read more

He put hands on a customer for asking g for his money back after being lied to over and over again about the delivery date for his mattress. 2 months of waiting is beyond unacceptable! If they knew what good customer service is they would never speak or treat a customer that way, ESPECIALLY PUTTING HIS HANDS ON HIM! He discriminates against people with tattoos and stereotypes them calling them "lowlife thugs" just because they are asking for their money back for something they never received. I bought a red leather sectional for $3000 cash and less than a year later it began to crack and tear at the seams. When I complained to the owner Rhoda she told me to email her pics so she could forward them to the maufacturer. She corresponded with me poorly. Avoided me calls, emails & voicemails. I even took time to speak to her in person. She said she had not hear from the manufacturers yet and would let me know when she did. 3 months or so later she said the warranty was expired and the manufacturer would neither replace nor repair nor refund me for the couch. She recommended a furniture repair company and said there was nothing more she could do for me. Casa Bella was voted "The Best Furniture Store" in Sac so I trusted their product would be top notch. I am highly disappointed and out of $3000 bucks and stuck with and embarassing looking sectional. UUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! read more

When we first moved to Sac a couple of months ago we needed a new dining room table. We looked on Yelp and found Casa Bella Galleria had high reviews so we decided to check it out. Long story short we bought a table and four chairs. Fast forward 5 months and one of the chairs broke. We called Casa Bella since it was still under warranty, they said to bring down the chair and they would take care of it. Fast forward another month and they still have not fixed the chair or given us a replacement. We stopped by and they said they were working on it and that "what did we expect when we bought a $400 set"? Excuse me?!? Sorry we don't have a lot of money right now. Maybe if you didn't sell cheap Wal-Mart quality crap in your store you wouldn't have to insult your customers. read more

I like to think I have good taste, well I prefer theirs! I love this place! My husband & I moved in together 6 years ago & were on the hunt for furniture for our living room. Rhoda took the time to lay-out a couple of ideas for me on optional lay-outs for the room because the room is oddly shaped. I ended up purchasing a sectional for our living room that fit our space perfectly. There were also a ton of swatches to choose from and I told her we had two dogs and were planning on kids. I can honestly say the sectional and fabric are still in fabulous shape and the fabric looks fantastic! I passed by this place several times because the name made it sound expensive, but to my surprise, they were very affordable. Rhoda and Sierra (I believe that was her daughter-in-law's name) were amazing. They greet you when you come in and work to help you achieve the look you want for your home. If you know the look you want, but they don't have it in store, they give you catalogs to view. I love that not only do they have financing, but they have layaway as well! I had shopped around to at least 6 different Furniture stores in the area, and a few online to price compare... and find something I like... and finally was happy here! The man (I forgot his name) was extremely patient with us and walked us thru the store and catalogs as well. Finally we found something we liked and ordered it It took 10 days, but I really am happy and the price was great as well. The Salesman and Owner are very nice, welcoming and do not put pressure on you like some places do, which is annoying and a turn off. I purchased a Gray Couch and Love Seat seat that came with TONS of pillows, and it looks very nice and great quality, much better than expected! Only downside, I felt, was delivery to our place which is 5 miles or so to our home was $70. But the hubby picked em up so it worked out fine :) I will be back for my furniture needs!
