What a terrific experience!! We came in to see about getting a recliner for my 86 year old mother who is experiencing severe back pain. She a very healthy and active 86 year, but had recently hurt her back and was also having sciatica pain. Pain Meds and Chiropractic care weren't working. She was resisting getting a recliner because in most cases they are ugly and made her feel like this was a step closer to assistant living. Gil was extremely helpful as he showed us many options that could potentially ease her pain. No pressure selling as the product and quality speaks for itself. A few days later I brought my mother in now using a walker due to the extreme back pain, and Gil gently helped her pick out the best chair for price and effectiveness, the Cafe Chair. It is a beautiful leather chair and very tasteful. He had my mom fully experience the chair for about a 1/2 hour patiently showing her all the positions and features....especially the zero gravity position...the pain went away. When my mother got out of the chair, she stood up easily and was able to walk better....just in that short time. SOLD!!! We were told 2 to 3 weeks for delivery, but Gil was able to expedite and deliver in person in just 10 days. Excellent White Glove Delivery!! That was great as my mother was very concerned how it might fit in the room. We were so impressed that we ordered a Stressless Chair and ottman for ourselves and my sister is thinking of getting a reclining sofa. First, I have multiple chronic physical issues. I purchased an adjustable bed a few years ago, and it has been fantastic. Last fall I bought an office chair and a recliner. The office chair is the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. The recliner which was being custom made did not arrive until this spring. Well, after sitting in the recliner a couple months, I realized a big issue. Given my many foot surgeries, my circulation has been compromised, and the recliner was very uncomfortable. I had to do something, and this was a very expensive chair I could not sit in. I went in to see Gill, and explained my issue. He had another recliner that he had me sit in for about 20 minutes to test. It was very comfortable. Gill agreed to swap the recliner at no extra charge. I went to the Ultimate Back Store after purchasing a Stressless chair for my office online and having the UPS lose it. I had been waiting for weeks, so I was SO PLEASED to find the chair I wanted in stock and have it delivered same day! Gil was an AMAZING sales person, he was attentive, not pushy, very knowledgeable and accommodating - he allowed me to switch the base color of my chair twice after it was delivered. It took a year to resolve this issue, but it looks like it will finally be fixed. The manufacturer is providing a new bottom for the chair, which is where the mechanics are. Gil apparently worked hard to make this happen. The fault was mostly with the company Guardian, which was contracted to make repairs. I believe that the store is no longer relying on them, as they were beyond worthless. I will repeat, that we do love the chairs! The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that it took so long to get the issue taken care of. read more

I had been wanting to try out the positive posture luma chair, and not only would they bring one to me to try out for a couple of weeks if I didn't like it they would come and pick it up..no cost.
