For starters, everyone was so courteous and professional and amazing from venue touring to communications to actual wedding day. No stone was left unturned so everything went perfectly. First, let's talk actual venue space, it's a historic inn that overlooks the beaches and ocean and it's a gorgeous sight to behold. When you enter, you are introduced to a beautiful patio with a fountain and plenty of plant life. The ceremony happens outside while the reception happens indoors with a nice cozy ballroom space and more spacious dining area. For our guest count of 125, we fit comfortably despite being a little crowded. For food, it's arguably the best wedding food you can get. Ask any of our guests! For tray pass options, we went with ahi tuna tacos, mini quiches, crab cakes, and a charcuterie station. We opted for a brunch wedding and people loved the gnocchi station, waffle and protein station, prime rib, and acai/parfait station. I think it's safe to say that our guests hadn't experienced wedding food like La Venta before and they absolutely loved how good the food was! Now, the wedding day. It was absolutely magical with the flowers, the music, the weather, the views, the food. And all of this would not have been possible without the vendors that we had with La Venta. For your reference, we used Blush Events for the coordinator, Noon Flower Shop for flowers, Credo for makeup, Madebymeg catering for food, King's Hawaiian for cake, Vox DJ for emcee/DJ, and Madeforyou for signage. If you want a wedding in PV, La Venta is probably the BEST option without being outrageously expensive. I know we'd do it all over again with them, but hopefully I don't need to get married again!

The venue is a home in a residential area close to the San Pedro ports. We had our ceremony and reception there. TG we were able to pivot because we originally booked the Wayfarers Chapel that unfortunately is no longer. Sara made it work for us so that we did not have to completely change our plans. While there are small spaces within the outdoors, it didn't feel too disjointed. It allowed for more pockets of intimacy with your guests. The bar area is so lovely with so much character---well the whole home cas wow it's like you're stepping foot in a movie set. The greenery is kept up in such great condition and when the candle lights come on along with the outdoor fireplace at night, it is pure magic. This venue is not ordinary or cookie cutter. Everything is done up thoughtfully. It's for those that want something a little different but still has all the convenience and professionalism of a bigger venue. We went with food from Chef Dora ---also amazing, and so many styles of foods she makes!! The DJ and bartender was found by Sara as part of our package, and they did not disappoint either. My friends commented on how awesome our DJ was--one of the best they've ever had at a wedding. Sara is probably one of the biggest reasons I went with her venue. Not to say the place isn't pretty cas it is literally made of dreams, but Mama Sara is heaven-sent. She's hilarious first of all. But more importantly, she is who I want to support in this world. She's honest, down to earth, fun, incredibly driven and fierce, and loves her community. She not only makes sure your wedding plans are going well, but that your mental health is still ok too, cas she knows how wedding planning can get. Her communication will come in various forms, but she always checked in on me. And helped me figure things out when something isn't going how we wanted. She does go above and beyond to make sure the couple feels good, secure, is fed, and has fun!!! Even at the end of night til the bitter end helping to pack everything up and out!!! My family loves her. She made wedding planning fun. I already miss her. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you again for all of it Sara!!!!

It was a lovely wedding at a lovely venue, with space for a ceremony, a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, and a dance party, spread out across two floors. I don't know what The Revery provided and what the couple was able to bring in, but it was all nice and aesthetically pleasing and tailored to their personalities. The downstairs space was open air, basically a giant patio, great for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and a couple of food trucks later in the evening. The upstairs area served as a banquet hall, with long tables and a dance floor. I don't get to go to many weddings anymore, and I very much enjoyed seeing my little cousin get married. She and her new husband looked super happy, and The Revery seemed ideal for their special day.

We had been shopping for a venue for some time and were toying with the idea of a destination wedding. Hawaii has always been mine and mama's special place, but, it wouldn't have been practical (nor economical) to have it out there. Enter Duke's. Our first point of contact was Madelina. She met with us and and started our process. She explained thoroughly what our options were, but, most importantly, she asked us what they could do to make our day even more special. Our questions were answered there or subsequently researched and confirmed immediately. Madelina handed us off to Alessa after the initial, who became our lifeline for the next several months. Alessa's communication with mama was impeccable. As with planning any wedding, lots and lots and lots of questions are asked and lots and lots of changes are made. Alessa was patient, understanding and proactive. No detail was either too small or too big. She even stuck around after hours to meet with us on our Tasting Menu night. Fast forward to our wedding day... Alessa was front row center helping us headless chickens as we ran around. The ceremony area and the dining area share the same space which is separated by "blinds" like dividers from the dancefloor/cocktail/bar area. They store the tables in the dancefloor/cocktail/bar area and move it into the ceremony/dining space afterward. The beach is available for pictures, but, not generally open to the public. While we were taking pics outside and our guests were cocktailing, the staff scurried inside repositioning all the tables. Granted I was not inside, I was informed that the transition was seamless. The remainder of the evening was executed marvelously. Alessa was always available. The passed apps and champagne were delivered effortlessly. The dinner buffet was (as we were told repeatedly) AMAZING! The bartenders were friendly bros who took care of our guests. The bussers were on point cleaning up. Oh, and Madelina was there as well to check on us. This party was one of the BEST one's mama and I have ever attended! And i'm not just saying that because we threw it. Overall everything panned out as we wanted and Jules was helpful in adding in all the extras that we wanted to make the wedding amazing. Only note, do not leave stuff in the men's get ready room. We had a bottle of whiskey in there and it was straight up taken from the room when we went to have the ceremony so the staff or people know the room code. Besides that everything was flawless. Also, in terms of add ons I totally recommend adding drapes to cover the ugly walls and ceiling drapes as well and that's really all you need to make the wedding beautiful. Also upgrade the basic chairs to mahogany ones at the minimum.
