    Huevos Rancheros and breakfast pupusa!

Was in the area and wanted to check out La Vaca but it looked crowded so I came on yelp and discovered this place! Great food, great service! Perfect if you want a chill place to relax and eat. I did also get a coffee which was also super good

House-made breakfast potatoes (not from a bag or box)

i've been working with Restauranteurs for 38 years. I inspect them for a living. I'll start off with the fact that this restaurant is clean and their restroom is immaculate. As soon as you walk in - all you smell is good food cooking and you don't smell chemical cleaners or air fresheners or a mildew smell or decomposing organic matter smells. Trust me I've been in thousands of restaurants that have those odors and it pretty much kills the vibe and your appetite.. The owner and the chef were very pleasant people. We chatted dfor a bit regarding the menu and their business history. My wife got the breakfast sandwich and she said it was delicious and the bacon was quality stuff and freshly made. I got the Chilaquiles. They didn't grab a handful of already made chips and throw them in a skillet. These suckers were made to order! Flavor was perfect. I got mine with the white jack cheese or could've been mozzarella but I think it was jack cheese. I don't like that queso fresco or Cotija Cheese. You see that little cup on the side (in picture)? That is their house made salsa and it was out of this world. Not too hot just the right amount of heat and the flavor was very sophisticated. I topped them with over medium eggs that were cooked just right. Now look at those potatoes. These were the best tasting breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Hands-down, the best I've eaten in thousands of restaurants from Santa Barbara to San Diego. I would've eaten these by themselves or with a poached egg on top or even an over easy egg on top. Easily the best part of the meal, and that's saying a lot since my Chilaquiles were great. I didn't post a picture, but I topped off the breakfast with a small order of French Toast. They didn't use Texas toast as the bread, but the bread was still a quality egg bread. They were cooked perfectly, not overcooked and not soggy and they use real butter to top them. It's an unsalted butter and very good quality and not frozen solid. I had coffee to drink. The coffee actually tasted like coffee. Those of you who like coffee know what I mean. Sometimes you just get brown hot water that kind of taste a little bit like coffee. This wasn't weak and it wasn't too strong. Goldie Locks would approve, It was just right. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to your table. It's a small place and can probably hold about 25 people. Ventilation is great and they had their air conditioner on. Floors were clean, and the owner came and cleaned everything including the floor after each visitor left. She is very attentive. Their prices were very reasonable. My wife and I are going to come back again to try lunch. As for breakfast, GET OVER HERE AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!! The End.

Nissi is the definition of 'hidden gem'. I'm starting to believe that whoever takes this spot make such delicious food. It used to be Jumping 1ton which I LOVED but sadly they ran out of business. I truly hope Nissi doesn't. I got their pupusas revueltas ($4 each). They're the MOST delicious things ever!!! They did take a while to come out, around 25-30 minutes but it was definitely worth it. I believe it's a family owned business, last time I was here there were only two people working. So I did also had to wait a good 15 minutes before anyone would come out to the counter to take my order. They have added prices to their menus now and also accept card and Apple play btw!

Place is small but very clean and inviting. I ask for a coffee and the waiter ask me if I had try their bread . She proceeded to give me one. Bread was delicious I preceded to dip my bread into my coffee. Everything looks so delicious didn't know what to order.

We initially came here for the old restaurant but it had a sign that said grand opening so we decided to go in to try out the new spot. The place has changed since Jumping 1 Ton, one of our faves. It was then Sage, but we haven't eaten there. It's changed a lot, more decorated and they moved the counter around. We were offered a menu and we sat down to review. They have breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, pupusas, tamales, coffees, smoothies and boba drinks. Mexican breakfast - scrambles eggs with peppers, smooth black beans, fried plantains, soft cheese & home made tortillas - the flavors were all good Pupusas - 1 cheese and 1 pork - the cheese they used was good, tasted great and had a long cheese pull! The pork had great flavor! Would get both again. Cucumber Lemonade - refreshing & tasted good The weirdest thing was there were no prices on the menu. We ordered the above plus a coffee and it came to $26 total. It wasn't a bad price, but we have no idea what anything costs. They didn't offer a receipt either. They also only took cash at the moment, luckily, I had some! Hopefully everything is still getting set up. I'd suggest to add prices somewhere :) Service was quick & friendly. Recommended.

Had a day off so my BF and I looked up brunch spots and found this gem. It was so good and he said he would come back too. We ordered the pupusa's with scrambled eggs and I ordered a caramel iced coffee and he got some cucumber juice. We definitely suggest this place and we will definitely be returning.

The Mexican breakfast, hot latte, and a bolillo on the side. Hearty and delicious. Meal came out to $17.

With many flavor options to choose from you'll have difficulty deciding. We were meeting family at Haven City and it was a better deal to walk to El Jireh than to eat at the Salvadoran place located inside the food court of HCM. Large pupusas accompanied with a delicious cabbage slaw or as I'm told "curtido" and some nice spicy hot salsa. If I'm craving pupusas when we are ever here at HCM, I'm only coming here as the food is more reasonable and a lot bigger portions.

I got a loroco and cheese, chicken and cheese, and a bean and cheese pupusa. The pupusas were large and good for sharing. The rice and beans had good flavor. The order was ready within twenty minutes. Parking was limited in the front but plenty of street parking and space in the back parking. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. They take both cash and card. They also serve other dishes and had a variety of drinks. Overall, I would come back and try some of their other pupusas.
