For some reason she tested me for h pylori, sonia didn't explain why she was testing me for this specific virus which was strange. there was no clarification or communication throughout my entire visit. The nurses did a finger prick test and they told me it was positive. She put me on antibiotics I didn't need. I got a second opinion from an actual doctor and they were confused as to why she would do a finger prick test as it's not an accurate diagnosis of h pylori before you issue antibiotics you need a confirmatory test such as a stool test or breath test which she did not do. I did both the urea breath test and stool antigen test, both came back negative this shows i did not have an active infection and the initial diagnosis and treatment were not appropriate I was extremely distraught by this news because sonia made me feel like she actually cared about me but going to her office caused me so much emotional and financial distress. I took two weeks off of work and in total i spent over $500 at her office and pharmacies for the medicine I absolutely did not need that caused me emotion and physical harm. I would recommend that anyone considering this office ask for detailed pricing and exact reason why she is doing tests on you.

Was this done purposely or is this how they do business. By their Yelp reviews I think they are incompetent. They have gone downhill and if you can avoid this place. The XRay Tech 'Marquez' was a bit insensitive about it and made me feel uncomfortable. They front desk manager eventually offered to give me a saliva/oral drug test instead. I had to actually advocate for the alternative test, because it wasn't offered initially. Just communicate and offer feedback to help people understand their choices would make this already anxiety producing process better.
