I'm honestly confused about what service was provided here. I brought in 13 items for dry cleaning and paid $115, and the majority came back looking the same as when I dropped them off. The pieces I specifically needed cleaned didn't look improved, and nothing was communicated to me about any issues or limitations. If they weren't able to remove stains or properly clean certain items, that's something they should disclose before charging full price. I would have either declined service for those items or made a different decision. Instead, I paid and left with clothes that looked like they hadn't been touched. To top it off, they never pick up the phone. I called multiple times to follow up and got no answer. Between the results and the lack of responsiveness, I can't recommend this place. read more

This place was recommended by my friend and I wasn't sure about it in the beginning since I have to drive to this location more than I wanted to. I have issues with dry cleaner's stubs....The place I used to go, they only give me a little stub (approximately 1/2" x 2") with sequence of numbers, and that's it. My issues with that kind of stubs are: (1) it gets lost in my wallet (2) I look at the ticket and wonder what the ticket was for (3) when I remember it was for the dry cleaning, it makes me wonder which cleaner it was Casa De Cleaners.... These folks do a brilliant job on our "dry clean only" clothes and on my husband's dress shirts, but the best thing about them is that they're the sole provider of environmentally safe "professional wet cleaning" in the South Bay (at least currently). This is a huge distinction - dry cleaning methods that claim to be "green" (including GreenEarth brand) may not use PERC (which has been outlawed in CA by 2023), but they're still using volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or D-5 (siloxan) to _chemically_ dry clean your clothes. If you're looking for "green dry cleaning" like I was, you're probably looking for chemical-free dry cleaning. And, from everything that I've read, the best alternative today isn't "dry" at all - it's professional wet cleaning. Casa De Cleaners uses special professional wet cleaning equipment that allows them to use water as the cleaning solvent, instead of chemicals. From what I've read, this method has no toxicity issues (not just "less toxicity" - none) and is currently the most energy efficient professional cleaning, actually using LESS water than dry cleaning. We've been taking our "dry clean only" clothes to Casa De Cleaners for almost 6 months now and have been very pleased with the quality of service and appearance of our clothes. After a change in jobs required us to find a new "green" cleaner, we are thrilled to have found Casa de Cleaners. We have about 5 shirts and one (not dry) cleaned item per week, and after a few months of using this business, 5 stars is in order. Prices are fair and results are excellent. The business is in a rather dismal strip mall (near the big See's Candies outlet), but parking and in/out is very easy. They give you a nice computer-generated tag to remind you of your pick-up, and it states the day it will be ready. Finally, this is a GREEN CERTIFIED BUSINESS. My law firm just achieved this distinction last year, and I know how difficult it is to achieve. Kudos to them! read more

So, they didn't finish a shirt in time of a deadline that I needed, but I'm still going to give this place 4 stars! So.. it was kind of my fault and maybe theirs. I needed a 2 piece suit and a white collard shirt to be dry cleaned with a very short notice. They originally said they would be able to do it, so I decided to go with them. When it came time to pick things up, I found out they were only able to get the jacket & pants done. They weren't able to get my shirt done in time (which I figured would be the first to get done). So even though they didn't get it done, I understood it was a short notice. I had to catch a flight, back to the east coast, and came back 2 weeks later. When I went to pick up my shirt, I was very impressed. This was the first time in all of my dry cleaning experience, with various cleaners, where they really cleaned my neck collar. I no longer live in the SJ area but felt the need to give Casa De Cleaners a positive review for the excellent service they provided while I was there (between Sep '16 - Sep '17). They were my go-to cleaners and were always on time and thorough with their service -- they were able to remove my frequent stains and always did their best to get out the really tough ones, like oils. I have been a long time and satisfied customer of Casa de Cleaners. In fact I've been going there for many years. And just recently I decided to take my business elsewhere. I routinely drop off my dry cleaning on Wednesdays and pick it up on Saturdays. This past Saturday I went to pick up my dry cleaning and... It was nowhere to be found. Then after about a half hour or so I was told to "come back on Monday, there is a problem". I replied, That is unacceptable, I have to work on Monday morning and all of my shirts are here." So he said he would clean one shirt, and asked me to come back in an hour. Mind you this is 1 shirt out of the 7 I dropped off. So today (Monday) after work I stop by to pick up my shirts, and they are still not done. I was asked to "come back after 4p.m." and he also added that "he would not charge me." I returned approximately 4:30, he sees me walk in, bags up my shirts then says to me... (Rudely) "6 shirts, right?" Then directly turns his back. No explanation, no apology. Now let me add, through this entire ordeal there where no heated exchange of words from either of us, just my dissatisfaction with my cleaning being lost/not being done after I had already dropped it off 3 days prior. Yet I was treated as if I had somehow done him wrong. As I previously stated... I'm a long time customer of Casa de Cleaners. Or should I now say, WAS a long time customer of Casa de Cleaners. I had a designer dress that I needed to have dry cleaned after wearing it to an event. I dropped it off on a Monday and it was ready on Thursday. Not a big deal to me because I didn't need it until my next event two weeks later. (I typically clean them right away so they're ready whenever I may need them next.) It cost me less than $14 and they did a great job! There is a beaded accent and it came back with all its beads and pressed perfectly. The gown is a sweetheart, strapless neckline and they had even taken the extra effort to hang it specially so it wouldn't get wrinkled or sag on the hanger. Great work! Over the past two years I have received excellent customer service and clean clothes from Casa de Cleaners. The couple that runs/owns this place is ALWAYS there so you know your putting your clothes in good hands. My husband and I drop off our dry cleaning about once a week and we have never experienced an issue with lost or damaged clothes and we feel that the prices are very competitive. I even had a Anthropologie purse cleaned here a year back and they did an excellent job. Another bonus is the computer system they use is very high tech. Hard to explain on Yelp but you know that you are always getting all your clothes, even if there was a load you forgot about. read more

This is Cleaner (James) as i call him, deserves your business. He is extremely accommodating for any request (even when it is not reasonable). He charges almost nothing for men's shirts and is very reasonable with women's clothes. Most place's I have gone to charge TWICE as much for what I pay with James. I have gone to James for about 2 years and could not imagine leaving him even for the 3 cleaners that are closer to my house. The guy brings my clothes out to my wife when she chooses to pick them up. He literally opens the back door and hangs the clothes in the car before she can even get out of the car and tells her, "Don't worry to pay next time!!" I am not making this up, he is great. THE KICKER: Once you go there for a few months he gives you the 20% off whether you pay up front or not. read more

I came to Casa De Cleaners for the convenience as it's located near my parents home. I bought a new pair of trousers that needed to be hemmed and i also brought one of my mom's dresses that she's been wanting to alter. I brought them both in on Weds afternoon and the friendly woman asked when I would like to pick them up. I asked if Monday was OK and she confidently said "yes" and that I could come Monday at 5pm to collect. I'm here now, right at 5pm, and she barely sat down to start the dress and hadn't even started the trousers. I'm a little annoyed being that I was expecting to just pick them up and head back home to make dinner for my parents instead I'm having to wait while she rushes through the alterations because I'm sitting in front of her. However, she did an excellent job and I understand that these things happen but if there is a possibility that they can't handle the deadline that they promise then they should just say so. This place is amazing!!!! I found it on Yelp and I've been a regular customer for more than 2 years. They treat your cloths excellent, yes... At some point they recall your name and the couple is very kind, AND it's environmental friendly. They are honest because once they told me they couldn't receive an item because they didn't want to take the risk (it's handmade painted and special fabric) and I appreciate that a lot. 0 stars if that were an option. I dropped my scarf off to be cleaned explaining clearly the scarf is a luxury scarf valued at $1000 and asked if they could safely dry clean, the owner said yes. Upon pick-up I noticed the scarf was completely damaged (looked old, dingy, worn out (the scarf was only 1 year old and hardly ever worn due to the nice weather in NorCal)). I called in and they told me to drop off again for them to look at. I showed up and explained how old and damaged the scarf looked. The owner told me he would try to clean again and COMPENSATE me if he could not. Three days later, I arrive to pick up my scarf. Interestingly, this owner was not there, but his wife J* was. Oddly, she knew exactly what I came in for (perhaps because I was a customer for 5 years). She brings the scarf over and I took one good look and I look at her and tell her this is damaged. She immediately gets defensive and says it was a manufacturer defect. No way, the scarf was 100% perfect when I dropped off and I never had it dry cleaned prior. After listening to her rant trying to blame the luxury designer and telling me to go talk to them, she completely shuts down and tells me she could not speak English and calls a friend to help "translate". Let me remind you I had been a customer for 5 years and English issues were never a problem before (hmm). After 1 hour, I tell her listen as your husband stated, you would compensate me, she said he does not know English well and that is not what he meant. 1.5 hours later, her sister arrives and we come to an agreement that they would file a claim with their insurance company, but needed time to prove that it was actually their fault. After thinking overnight about it, I went in today to retrieve my scarf. Interestingly (again), the husband was there and said he could not understand me when I was asking him for my scarf (guys, I could not make this up, I was in shock); I am concerned they may come up with other excuses and I would never see the refund or my scarf again. They lost a 5 year customer over something they did not want to take ownership of ruining. read more

My only frustrations are little things, like them writing my surname in sharpie on the insides of all my husbands dress shirts, and then being upset at me when I ask them to stop.
