Nice food, large portions, friendly service, nice selection of drinks. The place is old style restaurant

I have lived in the area for almost my entire life, and for whatever reason, this was my first time dining at Casa de Pasta! And now I regret not going sooner. The eggplant alla casa is a dish I would definitely order again. It was eggplant rollantinni style, but the eggplant was stuffed with sausage, spinach and cheese. The servers were all very nice, especially the hostess, and I loved the cozy feel.

As others have said, it's a quaint place that has not been updated probably since it's been open in 1983 but that's what gives it its charm. Multiple waitress waited on our table. I liked the team effort. 4% credit card fee. Extra charge for blue cheese dressing. Food was decent. We got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, they're not homemade but are of the higher end of brought mozzarella sticks. Chicken parm was two big pieces of chicken, just wish there was more cheese. Side of penne vodka was good and my husband enjoyed his tortellini Alfredo.

I brought the family here last weekend and definitely enjoyed our experience. We were greeted promptly and seated. Our waitress was attentive snd worked hard for us. The inside is rustic and cozy but clean and organized. Everyone including our kids were happy with our meal. I got the chicken parm with vodka penne on the side. Both very good. This was our second time here and would return. The bartender even came over to see if I liked my drink!

Hands down my favorite place to get vodka sauce! I tried to recreate the sauce and tried so many other places and nothing beats their sauce! Rigatoni zingara is also a must! One of my favorites. Other favorites: Zuppa do clams, eggplant rolatini, chicken Marsala, any of the veal or chicken parm subs!

It's been a few years since we ate at Casa De Pasta and nothing has really changed. That's not a bad thing though, this is a cozy little restaurant that's been in Randolph since 1983. The decor is rustic with a nice bar that unfortunately can't be used in these Covid-19 days. The food is NJ solid Italian, not spectacular but no complaints. I went with the Eggplant alla Casa which is similar to rollatini but stuffed with spinach and sausage. My wife had Veal Francese and my stepson had Shrimp Scampi. The meals were served with a side salad and pasta. My wife thought the veal should have had a vegetable with it and it probably should have. All in all, this was a nice meal at a friendly, local place!

Food is good. Service is great very friendly atmosphere but you can't depend on this place to be open. When his dad was alive it was open 6 days a week. Now it only open Thursday thru Sunday and they close on Sundays at least twice a month supposedly because of a shortage of help. Who would want to work at a place that's only open 4 hours a night 3 or 4 days a week. How can anyone live on that?

All of my experiences here have been decent but tonight was extremely disappointing. I called and placed a pick up order for one item at 6:30. I was told it would take about 30 minutes and arrived at 7 PM. When I asked for my food, I was told the order was never put in and that they were "short staffed." Even if you don't have enough staff, how does that affect submitting a meal? I needed to wait another 15 minutes. Rather than comp the meal, I was given 10 percent off (less than $3) with an apology. That was my last trip here. Very disappointing.

This place looks more like a tavern than an italian place. They have a bar, booths, and a back dining room. Be careful because if you drive too fast you will miss it. It was empty on a saturday around lunch time but we came. I knew when I walked in I knew I wasn't going to have 5 star food but I held out hope for something close. We started with the calamari and it tasted like any other calamari I have had. The marinara sauce that came with it had some flavor but not my favorite sauce. The salt content seemed to be the common theme at this restaurant. Either there was too much of it or not enough. I tried the chicken sorrentino which had too much salt. I felt very bloated after. The eggplant rollatini had way too much ricotta in it so it was overwhelming and drowned out the flavor of the eggplant. The service was good and the staff overall seemed very nice. In the end, they gave it a shot but I put it at 3 stars.

Not coming here again. We tried it twice hoping to like it, and both times we were met with below average food and rude service.

The decor was very nicely decorated. Our server greeted us and asked our preferred water. Then gave us menus including wine list and specials of the day. After taking our wine order a plate of antipasto and bread came to our table. We started with a shrimp appetizer off the menu it was in a tasty sauce with artichoke hearts, tomato and capers. A great start. After finishing our appetizer our entrees arrived. We had the chicken francaise, chicken with hot peppers and sausage and I had the double cut veal chop. Everything had a little potato and vegetable on plate. But we also ordered a side of mashed potato and asparagus. All of the meal was presented nicely as well as tasted great. The. We weee celebrating all of our birthdays so we asked for three different desserts on one plate so we all could try a little of each. We had the key lime, chocolate mousse cake and apple strudel. They seemed to be bought desserts but all were good tasting. I do recommend this restaurant after this visit. We will be returning.

The staff is lovely, attentive without being overbearing, and helpful with recommendations or things to try. All the food is fantastic but what we got this night was: - Calamari (forgot to take a photo it was so good), which are large rings lightly battered accompanied by a gravy boat size holder of spicy marinara sauce. - Special: Homemade meat lasagna - MASSIVE and covered with lots of meat sauce. Unless you have a bottomless pit of a stomach, you will be taking half of this home. - Special: Chicken pecan - unique and fantastic. Two large pieces of chicken along with mashed potatoes and broccoli. - Chicken parm- the pro tip is to get it with vodka sauce instead of marinara. Trust me. You won't regret it. - Rigatoni Torino- their pink vodka sauce is the place to be so that with the peas and crumbled sausage is *chef's kiss*. As an FYI, they do have a gluten free pasta in case that's needed (it's only in penne form, if you care). Fantastic meal. Cherry on top that it's BYOB, so bring a couple of bottles and some friends, and you'll have a great night.

The Greek salad which i was excited to try was plated nicely in a tower shape, tomato's , cucumbers and feta was crumbled on top. It has plenty of calamata olives, which i thought was generous . So they gave me oil and vinegar and it was spiced with the right herbs , I don't think you need to ask what dressing goes on a Greek salad , seemed obvious to me. I was in the mood for Italian food, so we decided to give this place a shot. I called ahead to check availability, and I'm glad I did! We didn't have a reservation, but thankfully the manager let us know that they'd have a table ready for us around 7:20pm (it was roughly 7pm when I called). My husband and I were just down the street, so we decided to go ahead and make our way there. Once we got seated, we were quickly greeted by our server, Mike. He was very attentive and friendly! We later learned that it was his second day on the job, which we found shocking as he did such a great job! As for the food... I'll be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana (my favorite Italian dish) and my husband ordered the Risotto Primavera. The Eggplant Parmigiana was not crispy at all, which was super disappointing! It had a great flavor, but I prefer a crispy texture so this didn't really hit the spot for me. It came with linguini noodles with tomato sauce, which was very bland. Whatever sauce they used did not have a great taste to it. As for the Risotto Primavera...it had a RICH flavor to it. My husband said "it's good, but not good enough to order again". I, on the other hand, didn't like it as I thought it was just too rich in taste. The food wasn't the best, but I'm giving them 4 stars because the overall service was fantastic! Everyone was so attentive, helpful and friendly, from the host to our server to the manager. It's rare these days to find a team where everyone is pitching in and happily doing so!
