We had such a wonderful experience at 4 Seasons Mediterranean Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, everything was warm, welcoming, and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I had one of their specials--a breaded chicken dish topped with prosciutto, spinach, and cheese--and it was incredible! Every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the paella with chorizo and chicken, which was equally delicious and full of wonderful flavors. The portions were also very plentiful, making the meal an excellent value and leaving us with plenty to enjoy. The service was excellent as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. We also really enjoyed sitting outside--it created such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and made the evening even more enjoyable. Christmas Eve with family and our favorite restaurant. The food was amazing especially for it being so very busy. Appetizers were so good, the meatballs in lobster sauce are the best ever. So soft so delicious! I had the 7 fishes dish omg so big so good. I loved it so much. Hubby had his favorite shrimp and scallops in a lobster sauce over spaghetti. It's so good he won't even try anything else. Desert was also so good. If you get a chance to try the blueberry cake please do so. It's the best ever. 4 Seasons never disappoints! I absolutely love this place! I went for the first time with two friends of mine and we ordered quite a bit. The staff are beyond incredible reminds me of classic Italian hospitality. Extremely kind and attentive. I truly love the entire atmosphere very classic decor and very clean. A must for family gathering type meals. For starters we had the hummus & pita, calamari, olives, bread, and my favorite was the grilled octopus with andouille sausage it octopus melted in your mouth it was my favorite! My wife and I first ate at 4 Seasons when it opened about 9 years ago. It was excellent then, but it's gotten even better over the years. From the moment you walk in and the owner, Abe, greets you from the bar with "Welcome Home", this restaurant is inviting and very cozy. On a cold January Saturday night, it felt like the perfect place to be. There's a full bar and let me tell you, the drinks are fantastic here. On this night, I loved the espresso martini. If you like sangria, I've had some of my favorites here. The food menu is large with plenty of options. I went with the Chicken Special and my wife had the St. Peter's fish. The food is cooked and prepared so well, just delicious! Even the desserts are not to be missed. I had a cappuccino and the homemade Tres Leches cake. Amazing! I guess you can tell I like this place. Just OK. I was a bit apprehensive about the menu. It's pretty extensive and features both Italian and some Spanish. I did like how they had daily specials, and those all sounded pretty good. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere. Service was fine, though perhaps a bit overzealous. The seafood pasta special was good. The shrimp were large and nicely cooked. The lobster tail a tad over done. The porkchop had a nice sauce, but it was quite dry. The beet salad did not really have enough beets, which was disappointing. I wish the food was better. Perhaps some dishes are better than others, so a menu consolidation may help. read more

All of the food we ordered was drenched in different sauces with the calamari/octopus appetizer the least edible. We had three different cocktails and they all tasted like they were filled with a bunch of different syrup flavored fruit as opposed to any actual real ingredients. After sitting for a while we realized quickly that this is a local mom&pop kind of operation and that the owners knew almost everyone that came in. All I can say is Wow! Found this restaurant on Yelp. The second we walked in, we were treated like family... the kind of family you like. Dirty martini was awesome and the beer was super cold. What we didn't know, but our guests did, was the red sangria is what should be ordered. The owner Abe, set our table up with some amazing appetizers that were demolished. The bread was hot and delicious and the butter wasn't rock hard... so easily spreadable. I had a pork special, pork Milanese, and it was done perfectly. Others at the table raved about their dishes. Desserts were delicious and hospitality was consistently wonderful. It took us an hour to drive here and we'd easily drive the hour again. read more

I've been coming here when I can for years. This time it was for my 18th anniversary. When I'm with my husband or a group of girl friends they are so polite and kind. The food is good. Drinks are strong. When I come with my family which includes a disabled son, they treat us differently. They aren't as polite or kind. And it's so obvious that my children notice how they are to others vs us. It's so disappointing. Plus, it's not wheelchair accessible. read more

Had another great meal at 4 Seasons on 5/28/24. We had 6pm reservations and were seated immediately. (It wasn't busy yet on a Tuesday after Memorial Day.) The arrival greeting was warm and service fun throughout the evening with no rushing. The Mediterranean red sangria was a good starter, but my wife prefers white. The grilled octopus and chorizo was a tasty appetizer with more than enough for two. For entrees we enjoyed the seafood risotto and rigatoni bologna special using ground filet mignon (yep, filet mignon). Maybe it didn't need that expensive a cut of beef, but it was very good and the price was in line with other menu items. No room for desert and we still took home a bag of leftovers (not for the dog). We enjoyed another nice early evening at 4 Seasons. Thanks again. read more

Very nice service. Limited menu but all the food we got was delicious! The only negative is that all the meats tasted like they had the exact same Marinade/ spice mix. It was good, but not varied. The tomatoe burrata is great. 5 to 6 pieces of tomatoe, topped with burrata, basil and balsamic. ive had burrrata that was much smoother, but overall, myself and guests loved it. My favorite part of the meal was my dessert. the limoncello cake was moist in the right places, splashes of lemon flavor throughout, and a nice lemon custard in the middle of the yellow cake. overall, the tiramisu was great too, but felt it was lacking in espresso flavor. the berries creme freshe i can live without. its just berries with baileys on the bottom. hey, basically its a drink! As far as entrees, my choice was the shrimp and sun dried tomato risotto. it was delicious, but it was a unique take on risotto. it was more saucy, than cheesy. i think this is due to the asparagas and the sun dried tomato, they did a sauce take versus the traditional cheese risotto that we know. there were 5 grilled shrimp. i loved it, and would try the traditional risotto. the mushroom gnoochi was amazing, but the gnoochi was too mooshy. i feel they were overcooked. however, the gnoochi flavor of the sauce and mushroom was stunning. i could have drank it up, but it was my friends dish. i also sampled my friends octopus entree with the veggies and potatoes - she loved it, but i felt the seafood was too chewy. sauce and flavor was on par! read more

Based on a friend's glowing recommendation, tonight we took a somewhat long ride up Route 80 to Wharton, NJ to visit the 4 Seasons Mediterranean Restaurant. I'll say right up front, it was worth the trip. I honestly had my doubts when we first pulled up though. The restaurant has a very unassuming exterior, and seems quite small from the outside. Thankfully, it's bigger than it seems. In fact, after dining there, I think it's the perfect size. Our appetizers included the Lobster Bisque and the Roquefort Salad. The Lobster Bisque was delicious. It included generous chunks of lobster and was creamy and decadent without being too salty. At only $6.99 I thought the price on the menu was a misprint. The Roquefort Salad was also very good, and beautifully plated. It included mixed field greens, walnuts, large chunks of Roquefort cheese, fresh melon, and a simple vinaigrette that didn't detract from the other flavors. For entrees, we had the St. Peter's Fish, which included tilapia, cherry tomatoes, capers, artichokes and white wine. It wasn't what I ordered. I tend to avoid tilapia at restaurants, because I eat it so much at home, but the next time I return, I could easily see ordering this dish. It was really that good. For myself, I ordered the Chicken Champignon, which was essentially Chicken Marsala, but without the heavy cream. It was loaded with delicious mushrooms and covered in a rich a savory Marsala wine sauce that really had no need of heavy cream. Also worth mentioning is the French green beans that accompanied both dishes. It may seem like a simple thing, but you don't realize how good string beans can taste until you have them prepared really well. These tasted like they were picked that morning, and were cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared a piece of their house-made Swiss Raspberry Cheesecake. It looked and tasted wonderful, although I personally found the raspberry sauce to be a bit too sweet. The coffee was freshly made for us, and tasted perfect (and was quite helpful on the drive home). Now I have to mention the real stand-out of the night, and that is the owner Abe and the head waiter Luis. They made our night. Not only did they greet us as their most valued returning customers (again, it was our first visit), they continued to make us laugh and smile throughout our meal with their good humor and fast wit. I can't recommend 4 Seasons Mediterranean Restaurant highly enough and I look forward to returning soon. read more
