Rosie's is amazing. I'm so glad we finally dined in! There are Italian restaurants that are better suited for takeout, and then there are Italian restaurants that you want to dine in at. Rosie's is definitely one where you'll want to visit. Especially if you can go on a beautiful day and sit on the covered patio. Between all 8 of us we tried a lot of things! The cesar salad was super fresh and came topped with lots of shaved parm. The meatballs and ravioli in pink sauce were perfect for my kids, and my one year old absolutely devoured. For my main I tried the orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was garlicky deliciousness. Everyone was really happy with their dishes. My husband's veal chop parm was the largest I've ever seen, my Mom's eggplant parm was cheesy perfection and my father in law could not stop raving about the mushroom truffle sauce on his short rib ravioli. The menu is huge and you can expect to see any and every classic Italian restaurant dish. They also have a large drink and dessert menu. There is no kids menu though, which makes sense given it's a bit of a 'fancier' place. Service was a little slow, but delicious food in an amazing ambiance definitely made up for it. Amazing food omggggg!!! I came here a few years ago and remember the food being delicious! Finally made my way back here for a lunch date and Rosie's did not disappoint!! From appetizers to entrees to our desserts, we were blown away by the tastes and skilled cooking this establishment has to offer. Things we ordered during our visit: -Fried calamari -Octopus (highly recommend) -Shrimp Fra Diavolo (spicy but so good!!) -Linguine with white clam sauce (my aunt's eyes rolled back it was good) -Creme Brule (was warm! Mother's Day was amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The waiters were very friendly. We were a big group, so we got to try a lot of different dishes: fried calamari, chicken parm, veal parm, chicken Milanese, Alfredo pasta, linguine with shrimp, and filet mignon with mushroom risotto. First of all. Stumbling upon this place by accident after a show at the community college. The outside seating is marvelous. There are fire pits and it was just a perfect now for a drink of wine outside. Food was fabulous and the was decent - could have been more attentive but they were busy so no stars will be deducted. Italian cuisine made with quality ingredients. Portions are very large. The service was impressive. Our waiter was polite, knowledgeable, funny, and prompt. We sat outside to eat and it was like sitting along the streets of Italy. The lighting was beautiful, and even though you are at a restaurant, it had an intimate feeling. It was a warm evening, and we opted to split two salads to start -- the watermelon salad and the beet & mozzarella salad. Both salads were excellent -- though the beet one had an exceptional mustard like dressing. Following that, we split a gluten-free pizza. It was just okay -- and felt like it needed a bit of kick or additional flavors as it felt quite bland. Every time I've come to this place, it's been crowded, so the food and service must be good. I've ordered take out twice and the experience has been less than par. The second time I ordered, it was a Friday night around 7 PM. I was told The food will be ready at 7:20 PM. It was 15 minutes late. When I spoke on the phone to the woman taking my order, I told her if she couldn't do the order within 30 minutes then I would go elsewhere. Two things Eric me in particular, the lack of punctuality and in accurate prices on the menu. Both are unacceptable. The one positive is I tried the cavatelli and broccoli with chicken and it was slightly better than the last time. There was a little bit more garlic and more quantity of food. So my guess is with this place, your best bet is to dine in and avoid the takeout. read more

Very over-priced for what they offer. Went here for lunch today. $40 for lobster ravioli, $20 for pasta alfredo, $4.25 for a coke. These entrees include no sides, no salads, and are very expensive. Food quality was average/so-so. The service is also so-so. Nobody comes to check back to see how you're doing, soda is served without a straw - you have to request one, really? Have to request refill of bread which consist of a total of 3 pieces for 2 people? On the bottom of they receipt they suggest a 20%, 22%, or 25% gratuity. I spent $68 for lunch today for myself and my child - this is really unbelievable. read more

Updating my review to 5 stars as I previously gave it 3 which part of that rating was due to the building being run down. I can happily say that this place has been renovated a few years ago & since the renovation, I've dined three times there & loved it! The menu is pretty big - you should be able to find something you like no problem. The specials are pricy. Each entree comes with a great house salad with nice dark greens. The complimentary bread is amazing with a nice crunch to it & served with olives & pickled peppers. I especially like the crab cocktail - excellent quality & guilt-free! I have enjoyed pasta entrees as well - really - all the food has been fantastic! We attended New Year's Eve 2019 here & the place was very organized, had a great menu for the night & I loved the DJ that they arranged. They held it upstairs which makes for a very nice room with a separate bar to have a party at. This place has great service & wonderful food - go check it out!! read more

After ordering our food, we waited, thinking bread would be brought. We had to flag down our waiter and ask if bread was coming. He then brought 3 1/2 slices of bread. That was gone before the meals came. We flagged him down again to ask if we were getting salad with our meals. He said no that is not included and would be $14 apiece if we wanted it. We said no. During our meals, he never brought any more bread. They are very stingy on food. We will not be going back! read more

I have been going to Rosie's for years. Every time Rosie, Mia & the entire staff knock it out of the park! Last night was no different; we celebrated several July birthdays and were seated at a table on the gorgeous patio. (I swear, it feels like being in wine country, being surrounded by the beautiful landscaping and flowering shrubs!) At one point, the retractable roof was opened and it was magical! The beautiful bistro lights shone and the summer sky was majestic, making for a gorgeous evening! Dennis and his team took excellent care of us, and the food was insanely delicious! As a resident of Randolph, I am thrilled to have this gem in town, and I highly recommend Rosie's Trattoria to anyone who loves good food, exceptional service and beautiful ambiance!
