A wonderful place for lunch! Our server, Adolpho, was awesome! He was funny, knowledgeable about the menu and, attentive. The serving sizes are plentiful and the menu has a something for all. Outside seating was comfortable and was set with table cloths and umbrellas.

Burrata app - good but wish there were some greens with it!

Nice place - 7 of us had lunch here before a show. They gave us a nice large round table which I love! Wine was opened promptly & they gave us a nice bread basket & after we ordered, complimentary bruschetta which was delish! Most people in our group ordered the Harvest salad w/chicken which looked amazing & the soup of the day (NE Clam Chowder). Two people got the salmon which they enjoyed & I got the burrata app - it was OK....I've had better. Service was excellent! Finding the bathroom is a little bit of a challenge! BYO - the way to go! Street parking only & they have these cute Igloo's outside for private dining.

Dinner out while traveling. They brought out bread and a complimentary bruschetta bite. Be forewarned that this is a BYOB; there is a liquor store up the street. The sautéed mussels with sausage was great. The broth was tasty with a little bit and worked well with bread. I had Norwegian Salmon with roasted zucchini and squash with pesto sauce. A nice combination; the salmon was a little over cooked and could have used a bit more salt. It was nice sitting outside. I got here an hour before closing. The service was very good. White table clothe and upscale. I was very satisfied and would recommend it to others whether for a date, special occasion or a night out.

I really enjoyed my meal. It is BYO which helps with the bill. The entrees are around $30 but it is a generous portion. Service was very good. I would come here again.

I have a friend out in NJ. I'm from NYC so I drove out to her to catch up. We choose this spot because they had enclosed igloos for outdoor dining. I'm always a little skeptical of igloos and outdoor heating elements but to my surprise their igloos were actually warm! So warm in fact that when the sun showed face for a few minutes we felt baked and had to open the zipper door for a minute. You could've dined inside. At 11:30 am we were pretty much the first in the building. Anyways, they had some really good sounding specials. Typically I don't pay attention to the specials because I wonder whether or not restaurants are just trying to get rid of ingredients but Bistro 46 had some really creative twists on standard fare. They had a shrimp bisque that sounded great by description and actually tasted great when we got it. It's the perfect thing to warm you up on a cold winter day. Baked bread was provided on the side and then we were brought some Bruschetta, compliments of the chef. We followed that up by trying their huge empanada. Everyone raves about it for good reason. Order one to split in case you don't want to be too stuffed for your entrée. Our entrees included their chicken sandwich and the fettucine which was really rich! Our server Adolpho was ready with extra cheese and pepper for me. My companion saw how cheesy the fettucine was and wondered aloud why I wanted more cheese. I told her (and Adolpho) that I was starting a diet and exercise regimen tomorrow, so that was my last hurrah. Adolpho would remember this later, making sure to suggest dessert since I was going to "fitness jail" the next day. I asked him why he was trying to sabotage me. His answer was that he was going to let me have fun today but report me to my companion if he saw me at the Bistro tomorrow. The exchange resulted in our selection of the White Chocolate Salted Caramel Cheesecake *Chefs Kiss*... Touché Adolpho, Touché lol. Bottomline: This is a cute little spot well worth the trip across three NYC boroughs and a bridge to NJ. Just note that they don't have a bar so BYOB!

I could not view reviews of dishes, so had to step outside to take a peak. Cannot justify paying such prices for dinning in a tiny, dark space in half-basement in the middle of NJ. Just can't. The portions are generous, which is good. But the prices are still outrageous for the location and vibe. It is BYOB for alcohol. We walked in on Sunday at 6pm without reservations and by 7pm, the small space filled up. The $12 hummus was bad. Store bought hummus of the cheapest brand tastes better. Seriously don't understand how a hummus can taste so bland and meh. No seasoning? The pita that came with it was low quality--it gave my friend an allergic reaction right away [he has sensitivity towards poor quality flour products]. $44 paidakia--lamb chops--had 4 chops that were tender and delicate. Pasnip pure was bland and totally a miss--did nothing to complement anything on the plate. Barely any demi lace sauce--definitely on the dry side. Asked for potatoes to be sutstituted for brocollini, but the kitchen did not follow through with that ask, even though our waitress confirmed it was possible. $39 lamb souvlaki was a solid dish. Filling and hearty. Good quality meat skewer. Smoked eggplant puree had a very strong smoke flavor. Lemony potatoes had bright, refreshing lemomy flavor that we appreciated. Service is attentive and quick. Complementary toothbrushes in the bathroom were a nice touch--a star for this little amenity.

This is a BYOB, so the wine was perfect with this. For entrees, my wife and I both ordered Kabob-e-barg, which was marinated pieces of filet mignon, served with Basmati rice. My wife also ordered a small salad. The rice was amazing! I really enjoyed that and the salad which we split. We had to order the homemade baklava for dessert...great way to top off the meal! Morristown has so many great restaurant options. Every time we come here we always say that we should come here more often. I arrived just before their three o'clock lunch break and was accommodated by their daughter (who was really friendly and kind). I ordered a chicken shawerma Haifa sandwich, and I watched my pita being toasted over a charcoal fire (she used a fan to literally fan the coal fire). I needed to use two hands, and from my first bite I was in nirvana. I asked and was given a fork and extra sauce. Remarkably good falafel, delicious chicken, and oh, that secret sauce. It's right on Speedwell (a busy street) near a funky intersection that gets tied up quickly. Do yourself a favor and park on a side street a block away: you'll whet your appetite on the walk there, and float in bliss on your way back. Superb. Great value. Just a gem. I will most definitely return and highly recommend it.
