Casa Burrito-(Chilaquiles Burrito)
Victor V.

I remember when I was watching the tv shows that were like hype shows for the big fight between Canelo and Terence Crawford-they were showing one of the Latin fighters on the undercard a few days before the fight was at this breakfast spot that looked so delicious. I've been to Vegas so many times and I'd never heard of this spot-It was called Casa El Desayuno. Well this spot looked so good on TV-they had all these amazing looking pancakes, they had amazing Mexican breakfast entrees, they had Paloma flights,so much stuff,I just knew next time I was in Vegas,I was going there. Flash forward about 6 months and I was finally back in the city I love and the first thing I did was figure out where this spot was and lucky for me there were 3 locations-unlucky for me they were all very far from the strip in places where only locals live. So we hopped in an Uber and made our way-4 miles away, which is only long when you don't have a car,and got to our location on East Charleston. I'd heard on weekends this place gets pretty packed and there are hour+ waits, but we were there on a Monday,so no wait. Parking is plenty as they have their own lot but no issue for me as I'd taken Uber. When we sat down I knew I was in a good spot, very authentic Mexican design inside and the clientele to match-In fact when I arrived they spoke to me in Spanish, but since my Spanish is poor,I just responded in English and it was English from that point forward. A little background, the owner of this restaurant was a head chef/cook at IHOP for a decade+ and when he decided to open his own place he brought their creative pancakes with him then added his own expertise when it came to Mexican dishes. We ended up ordering a few things. Cafe de Olla-this was an amazing coffee-took me back to the coffees I enjoyed on a recent trip to Mexico City-was served with a concha on top of it-stellar. Nutella Topped Pancakes($13.49)-these were so delicious-pancakes nice and moist and super buttery and the Nutella topping took it to an incredible bite. Chilaquiles Breakfast Burrito($16.29) & a Bacon Breakfast Burrito($14.29)-Both of these items were pretty solid-the chilaquiles version was a little better-we failed to order these burritos with cheese skirts-so as good as these were,we kinda failed in having them at their fullest potential. Chorizo Skillet($18.49)-seasoned potatoes with chorizo and onions, tomatoes and Serrano peppers-This came with 2 eggs any style and I got a side of corn tortillas. This dish blew everything else at the table out of the water-the flavor, the mouthfeel, the presentation, perfectly seasoned and such a heavy, hearty, fulfilling dish-true 9.5/10 Item. Walking out of the restaurant,I could not have felt more satisfied as the meal was so incredible and I felt like I had found something new-something only locals knew and tourists, like myself never find out. This spot will be on my Vegas itinerary every trip going forward.

Food always delicious, Frank our server was amazing, the staff is always on point, just as much as the food! I love it here! Great prices too!

Came in on a Friday morning for breakfast, probably around 10 AM. The vibes of this place is great. We walked in, and we were sat right away. Our server's name was, Richie. He greeted us right away, and was very nice. I would say the only downside to this place, and I'm not sure if it's a normal experience, is that our food took a little longer than normal. Not sure if the kitchen was slammed or if that's just how their food normally comes out. But once the food did come out, it was great. We're visitors from California, I heard about this place on Instagram, definitely didn't disappoint. Thank you, Richie again for the great experience.

I've seen so many amazing reviews about this breakfast spot so I knew I had to try it out. My husband and I met up with some friends and they let us know ahead of time that they're always busy and finding a parking spot can be kind of tricky. When we got there it was extremely packed but we were lucky to snag a spot in the front. As expected, the wait was about 20-25 minutes but it went pretty fast and we got in there between the 15-20 min mark. Our server immediately greeted us and was very friendly throughout our whole service. You could literally smell the fresh coffee brewing, so I knew I had to try out their Cafe De Olla. It was probably some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. It was so flavorful and really started this experience off right. I ordered the Frescas Con Crema buttermilk pancakes and my husband got the Steak Asada Omelette. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The omelette was good but the steak was a bit chewy, and not as flavorful. It came in big chunks but we usually prefer it in smaller pieces which is obviously more of a preference. Between the wonderful service, the delectable pancakes and coffee, I would definitely come back to try more of their menu items.

I was here a few weeks ago for Menudo but I was late. I got her early today, and was seated immediately since there was no big crowd yet. I my server came in less than 2 minutes. I ordered the menudo (with everything including hominy) and cafe de olla which comes with Mexican pastry. The menudo was served and the broth was flavorful with lots of tripe, and a piece patas vaca.Condiments included onions, cilantro, lime, chopped jalapeños, and oregano. I spiced up the broth with the condiments. The server was very attentive and the overall experience was good.

Chilaquiles Tricolor

The food is okay here and the overall vibe is family based. We decided to order mostly chilaquiles all around except for my mom who ordered pancakes and my two little sisters a hamburger with fries each. Food took forever to arrive and when it did, it was brought out separately! Those of us who had chilaquiles received our food first and just being polite we waited for the rest of the table to receive their food before we started to eat. It took them a whole other seven minutes for the rest of the food to arrive so of course, our chilaquiles at that point were close to cold. Sure, we could've just ate our food as it arrived but it's just a common courtesy to wait for the whole table to have their food and almost every restaurant I've gone to serves all the food at the same time or within a minute or two after. Probably won't come back here although the price point was cheap at about $142 before tip. (Yes, we still tipped as we still got a service provided whether or not we were satisfied.)

A super solid brunch spot in a no-frills location. We came on a Wednesday for late brunch and this place was crowded! On Wednesdays, they do have a 2-for-1 chilaquiles special (only applies to the traditional chilaquiles, not the tricolor). I ended up getting the tricolor chilaquiles which comes with both red and green salsa. It also came with 2 eggs, piece of steak, and a roasted pepper. It was so delicious and portions were huge so I took leftovers to-go. My husband got the ranchero omelette which came with a side of pancakes, toast, hashbrowns, or fruit. He opted for the pancakes, and also had a cafe de olla (sweetened Mexican coffee with spices served in a clay mug, and a half of a concha). Their pancakes are fluffy and moist, and I can see why it's one of their specialties that come in a ton of different flavors. Our waitress was bilingual and very friendly. Overall, the food was tasty and felt just like a homecooked meal. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food and great service. Went here 2 days in a row, both days Jeanice was our server. She provided amazing and friendly service, went above and beyond for our part of 14. Food is always tasty and their cafe de olla is the best!

It was our first time coming here and we were craving chilaquiles, and honestly... this place did not disappoint. They made them exactly how I like them crispy. That alone already had me sold. I ordered the chilaquiles tricolor with steak. They did have to remake my steak because I asked for it medium and it came out well done, but they fixed it right away with no issues. The second time it came out perfect juicy and full of flavor. Even the well-done one still had good flavor, I just personally prefer medium. I also got an orange juice. It was okay, a little on the sweeter side. I'm not sure if it's fresh or store-bought, but I would probably add a bit of water next time just to balance it out. Service-wise, we were missing a few sides we had asked for like extra sour cream, queso fresco, and salsas on the side, so just double-check your order. Also, be prepared to wait a bit for your food, but it makes sense because everything is made fresh to order and you can definitely taste the quality. The portions are huge. My mom and cousin ended up sharing one plate, and even I couldn't finish mine. I finished my steak and most of my chilaquiles, trying both the red and green sauces. The green was my favorite for sure. The plate also comes with avocado and eggs, but I got my eggs on the side since I'm allergic and just gave them to my mom. I added what I thought were fried jalapeños, but they were actually small serrano peppers definitely spicier than expected, but still really good. I love my fried chiles, so I didn't mind at all. Overall, the pricing is pretty reasonable for the portion size and quality. You're getting a big, satisfying meal. I would definitely come back again.

Casa El Desayuno was such a memorable dining experience for my family and I, and we still talk about it to this day. First, I have to shout out our server Jeanice! She was truly a highlight of our meal. She was incredibly delightful, patient, and helpful while guiding us through the menu, especially with my demanding parents. Her kindness and attentiveness made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, and she genuinely enhanced the entire experience. The food was outstanding. Every single dish we ordered was delicious, and the portions were very generous (so filling that this was the only meal my whole family ate all day), not to mention the great value in price. From the Chilaquiles fish I had, both the red and green were great but the green I enjoyed a bit more! What stood out the most was the CAFE DE OLLA. It tasted incredible and was served in the cutest ceramic mug, topped with a piece of concha (Mexican sweet bread). Such a thoughtful and special touch! There was a long line when we arrived, but the wait wasn't bad at all and was absolutely worth it. It's impressive how hard the staff works to keep things running smoothly despite the high demand. If you're in Vegas and looking for an amazing breakfast spot with incredible food, great service, and a memorable experience, Casa El Desayuno is a must. We can't wait to go back

Tri color chilaquilas with steak and eggs were delicious!!!

We will definitely be back. The food was amazing and all the wait staff were very welcoming. Our server was Liz and she was awesome!

Amazing place to stop while in Las Vegas. It is a few miles away from the strip but honestly it does not disappoint. We came here to have some breakfast before heading home and we were very pleased and happy with the service and food. Our server was very kind and brought the drinks promptly. The food let me tell you it was so good. The sopes with chorizo were so flavorful. The chilaquiles were good and spicy. The steak was juicy. The birria tacos were one of the best I've ever had. The meat was tender and flavorful. Overall it was amazing and I will definitely be back

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!
