Best breakfast I've had in Las Vegas. They have delicious, traditional Mexican dishes like chilaquiles, menudo, etc. but also options for folks that prefer a more bacon-and-eggs vibe. The restaurant itself is large and pleasant inside, though I recommend going early to avoid the crowds and make sure you get a parking spot. All in all, great food and great service. Can't wait to come back on our next Vegas trip!

I remember when I was watching the tv shows that were like hype shows for the big fight between Canelo and Terence Crawford-they were showing one of the Latin fighters on the undercard a few days before the fight was at this breakfast spot that looked so delicious. I've been to Vegas so many times and I'd never heard of this spot-It was called Casa El Desayuno. Well this spot looked so good on TV-they had all these amazing looking pancakes, they had amazing Mexican breakfast entrees, they had Paloma flights,so much stuff,I just knew next time I was in Vegas,I was going there. Flash forward about 6 months and I was finally back in the city I love and the first thing I did was figure out where this spot was and lucky for me there were 3 locations-unlucky for me they were all very far from the strip in places where only locals live. So we hopped in an Uber and made our way-4 miles away, which is only long when you don't have a car,and got to our location on East Charleston. I'd heard on weekends this place gets pretty packed and there are hour+ waits, but we were there on a Monday,so no wait. Parking is plenty as they have their own lot but no issue for me as I'd taken Uber. When we sat down I knew I was in a good spot, very authentic Mexican design inside and the clientele to match-In fact when I arrived they spoke to me in Spanish, but since my Spanish is poor,I just responded in English and it was English from that point forward. A little background, the owner of this restaurant was a head chef/cook at IHOP for a decade+ and when he decided to open his own place he brought their creative pancakes with him then added his own expertise when it came to Mexican dishes. We ended up ordering a few things. Cafe de Olla-this was an amazing coffee-took me back to the coffees I enjoyed on a recent trip to Mexico City-was served with a concha on top of it-stellar. Nutella Topped Pancakes($13.49)-these were so delicious-pancakes nice and moist and super buttery and the Nutella topping took it to an incredible bite. Chilaquiles Breakfast Burrito($16.29) & a Bacon Breakfast Burrito($14.29)-Both of these items were pretty solid-the chilaquiles version was a little better-we failed to order these burritos with cheese skirts-so as good as these were,we kinda failed in having them at their fullest potential. Chorizo Skillet($18.49)-seasoned potatoes with chorizo and onions, tomatoes and Serrano peppers-This came with 2 eggs any style and I got a side of corn tortillas. This dish blew everything else at the table out of the water-the flavor, the mouthfeel, the presentation, perfectly seasoned and such a heavy, hearty, fulfilling dish-true 9.5/10 Item. Walking out of the restaurant,I could not have felt more satisfied as the meal was so incredible and I felt like I had found something new-something only locals knew and tourists, like myself never find out. This spot will be on my Vegas itinerary every trip going forward.

I think this may be my new favorite breakfast spot. I've seen a foodie influencer post about this place but all their locations are a bit far from me so it took some planning. Anyway. This specific location is a bit sketchy, there's other businesses around but there's also an abandoned shop/building right across the little side parking lot, which had quite a bit of homeless hanging around it. No one bothered but definitely an off putting feeling. We were immediately sat upon arrival, about 1030a.They had a good number of patrons but they also have a lot of seating. We were initially greeted in Spanish but when I responded in English, the gentlemen switched too, same with the waitress. They were all very kind, attentive and patient. Food is BOMB. Ordered the chorizo skillet, steak asada omelette w/nutella pancakes and a kid's waffle breakfast w/eggs and bacon. Coffee and orange juice were delicious, made fresh too! Chorizo skillet was a good portion, I was not able to eat it all alone. It had a great spice but was so nice with the runny yolk from the egg on top. The fresh tortilla chips were a nice touch too. The steak asada omelette was delicious, and paired nicely with the upgrade to nutella pancakes. My daughter also enjoyed their thick, fluffy waffles. We'll definitely be back!!

Came here today around 11:30a and it was packed. It was about 1 hour wait. Came with my son and a few family members. I ordered the chilaquiles plate. The wait was a bit long but expected since they were super busy. We finally got our meals and dug right in. The chilaquiles were good with a very tasty green sauce. The refried beans and the eggs were basic. Overall, I was satisfied. I definitely want to return to try their other plates. The server was good, checked on us several times even though he was busy. A good size restaurant with a homely atmosphere. The parking lot is small and tight.

First time here and i have to say it was AMAZING! Service and food 10/10 We were greeted by the manager with the best mazapan pancakes!! Richy was our server and he was sooo good! Very attentive definitely coming back . Chilaquiles rojos 10/10

Server Nicole very humble and has lots of patience and the food is actually good and prices are fair !! Will return

I've seen so many amazing reviews about this breakfast spot so I knew I had to try it out. My husband and I met up with some friends and they let us know ahead of time that they're always busy and finding a parking spot can be kind of tricky. When we got there it was extremely packed but we were lucky to snag a spot in the front. As expected, the wait was about 20-25 minutes but it went pretty fast and we got in there between the 15-20 min mark. Our server immediately greeted us and was very friendly throughout our whole service. You could literally smell the fresh coffee brewing, so I knew I had to try out their Cafe De Olla. It was probably some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. It was so flavorful and really started this experience off right. I ordered the Frescas Con Crema buttermilk pancakes and my husband got the Steak Asada Omelette. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The omelette was good but the steak was a bit chewy, and not as flavorful. It came in big chunks but we usually prefer it in smaller pieces which is obviously more of a preference. Between the wonderful service, the delectable pancakes and coffee, I would definitely come back to try more of their menu items.

Came in on a Friday morning for breakfast, probably around 10 AM. The vibes of this place is great. We walked in, and we were sat right away. Our server's name was, Richie. He greeted us right away, and was very nice. I would say the only downside to this place, and I'm not sure if it's a normal experience, is that our food took a little longer than normal. Not sure if the kitchen was slammed or if that's just how their food normally comes out. But once the food did come out, it was great. We're visitors from California, I heard about this place on Instagram, definitely didn't disappoint. Thank you, Richie again for the great experience.

This is spot is definitely worth trying out for great food. When deciding to try it out sign up on the waitlist and you will receive a link with a live estimate and your spot on the roster. The ambiance here is very active with many enjoying their meals in large groups so it can be a bit loud. Our server was super friendly and quick to attend and bring our drinks and anything we asked despite how busy he was. I enjoyed the chilaquiles and got both red and green since I love both sauce flavors. I also got Cafe De Olla which was mind blowing how delicious it tasted that I had to get seconds! The concha that comes along with it is super soft and delicious had to order a whole one. The kids breakfast is a good amount of food. The only downside of the restaurant is the restroom, super small.

Busy place especially because of FIFA World ! So start your morning with Cafe de olla a strong coffee with cinnamon an a nice soft Mexican cookie! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, only had to wait about less than 10 minutes for a table, so many options on the menu you can do breakfast or lunch. We had a waffle combo and then Carne Asada breakfast. Everything was delicious. The potatoes were a little dry, Add a side of guacamole got a little kick in it. Eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and cheesy. Just remember when it's busy your food doesn't come right out. It takes a little while with lots of people in there but it's worth a wait ! JEHIELI was our server and she did a great job explaining many items and recommendations. She was just very pleasant and helpful and she never made us feel rushed because we sat for a little while and had a conversation, actually for as many people were in there it was relatively quiet. From my understanding the East Craig location can also get very busy so this is quite a popular restaurant so come on out and try it and enjoy.

The food is okay here and the overall vibe is family based. We decided to order mostly chilaquiles all around except for my mom who ordered pancakes and my two little sisters a hamburger with fries each. Food took forever to arrive and when it did, it was brought out separately! Those of us who had chilaquiles received our food first and just being polite we waited for the rest of the table to receive their food before we started to eat. It took them a whole other seven minutes for the rest of the food to arrive so of course, our chilaquiles at that point were close to cold. Sure, we could've just ate our food as it arrived but it's just a common courtesy to wait for the whole table to have their food and almost every restaurant I've gone to serves all the food at the same time or within a minute or two after. Probably won't come back here although the price point was cheap at about $142 before tip. (Yes, we still tipped as we still got a service provided whether or not we were satisfied.)

Free parking, generous daily happy hour even on weekends, beautiful retro ambiance, great place to take pictures, and really good diner food with a great selection all day long. The only thing that bummed me out (but not even enough to take off a star) is that last time I went to Peppermill -- a couple weeks ago for my birthday -- my group kept trying to order drinks before the happy hour ended but the cocktail server kept skipping right past our table on her rounds. By the time she got to us, 25 minutes later, the happy hour was over and she said she couldn't honor the price as a courtesy. So that kinda bummed us all out a little bit, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

The service (so many servers standing around at all times) was attentive and friendly but the only positive aspect of this experience. Who wants to walk around carrying this after, anyway? The table side salad is a nice way saying: we offer a mobile salad bar. Also, unnecessary . The bread bowl is served with a variety of salts - nice touch. Our table of 4 ordered the scallops for our app- they brought us 3 - no heads up that we would not have enough for each of us to have one! They were also-$51- that's $17 for each scallop!!! Not to mention they smelled fishy and were undercooked. We ordered the chimichuri skirt steak but they were out of it - it was 5pm reservations so it appears to be poor planning? The Beef Wellingtons ordered for the table were overcooked and dry. Our friends are light eaters and split a Wellington ( a good portion size to do this) and they opted for the $40 split plate fee - which basically gave them each their own veggies and salads. Don't bother ...that was basically $40 for some green beans, potatoes and a salad. Chocolate covered strawberries that came at the end - dark chocolate was waxy and the apricots in chocolate not so good either. For a high end $$$$ restaurant to serve an old fashioned with those cheap cherries...shame, shame! Drink was overall just -meh. The combination of lettuce leaves, carrot splinters, bean sprouts, and cucumber was simply great. I considered taking one or two servings home, but wound up eating most everything in front of me and bringing nothing home. Complimentary Brown Bread and Sourdough Bread and butter enhanced my enjoyment of the meal before my entree of Famous Factory Meatloaf, with Mashed Potatoes and kernels of corn arrived, along with Diane's Americana Cheeseburger and French Fries. Her burger was supposed to be medium rare but was instead medium to medium well, with too much visible char. And the front of my meatloaf was cold when I received it. The Mashed Potatoes, corn, and most of the meatloaf were warm enough. Service by our waiter, Ian T., was excellent, supplying a needed Tropical Iced Tea without request, and additional napkins and a wet wipe. When bringing the check, he also gave Diane a complimentary slice of Strawberry Cheesecake to somewhat make up for her deficient burger. Unfortunately, she could not eat the dessert because she is allergic to all berries. So she gave the slice to a family at an adjoining table that was happy to receive it. The dining room here is elegant, with granite table tops and interesting golden lighting features hanging from the ceiling. We left the restaurant at 7:55 p.m., got into our automobile, and headed home. XXXXX for Customer Service; XXX-1/2 overall!
