Walked in and was greeted and asked if we wanted a table or booth. We opted for a booth. DaRaven was our server and quickly made over and got our drinks, and made suggestions from both the lunch specials and main menu. Nice Manager was seated, with what looked like an interview, and when he saw me walking no where for the restroom quickly, redirected m. Thanks!! $13 for their lunch special, so worth it. My friend had the burger with onions rings, and homemade ranch. I got the chicken club with fries. We both spilt our meals and did a quick swap. No complaints. Once finished, dessert options were offered along with his great suggestions. Eureka takes the extra step, where a lot of places miss. If you are staying in Fremont, stop on it. Eureka! by Fremont Street is one of the better restaurants in this whole area. Customer service is really great, and there is lots of seating inside. It does seem like reservations are preferred, so keep that in mind if you're planning to visit. We got the Brussels sprouts, which were okay, but they weren't very crispy. We also got the Bacon Jalapeño Jam Burger. The burger wasn't cooked correctly the first time, so we had to send it back. The second one came out much better and was cooked right. It was really tasty and had great flavor. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and the burger was definitely worth trying. read more

Haven't been here probably since they opened years ago. So glad we decided to come in here when we were downtown for a magic show haha. I definitely got hungry and wanted to grab something to eat so we made our way here. This location is on Fremont Street and right by Fremont Street Experience, and boy, what an experience it is haha. I mean that in the terms of we sat on the patio and people watched for a couple hours. Sooo wild haha. We put our name in on waitlist and they texted us when our table was ready which was really nice. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. They were okay but definitely not my favorite. I also got the mac and cheese balls and those were FANTASTIC. I'd go back for those alone. To eat, I also got a grilled cheese and tomato soup and that was so delicious. The tomato soup was so creamy and yummy. I ate that entire thing in seconds haha. Our server was sooo nice. His name was Draven (I believe). For dessert, he brought me out a free ice cream because he said it was for the baby! So nice of him!! And I definitely did want dessert so I loved it haha. I would definitely come back here again. Walking toward Fremont Street and asked a cop for a good hamburger joint nearby. He recommended Eureka, so after the experience at Fremont, we headed here. The wait was relatively short, and the good was really good. $19 is a bit pricey for a burger though. But, the service was great and the burger was juicy. I do recommend this spot. read more

Location, stop number two on our #Lip Smacking foodie tour. This locations atmosphere is nice with good music playing. The servers were very nice and inviting. The food selections that we tried were Brussels sprouts, Chicken lettuce wraps, Mac and cheese balls, and firecracker wings. The Brussels sprouts were a bit spicy, I think I was told that it has habanero in the sauce. The mac&cheese balls were a bit bready which took away from actually tasting the mac&cheese. Okay, I have to say something because I've been thinking this for a while... WHERE IS DEREK?! I know he got moved to Henderson, but Downtown Eureka needs him back. Things just haven't been quite the same since he left. He's been covering the last few days and it was like, "Ohhhh, THIS is what we've been missing." And the Old Fashioneds are actually good again! Best carrot cake I've ever had! And I am not messing around. This $14 slice of amazing (more than our $13 lunch special) was well worth it. I did NOT like the fact that the restaurant has nice decor but blasts sports like it's a sports bar. It's super distracting and I could barely hear the person across from me. My Eureka American burger was ok. Too salty in my opinion, but I liked the pickles. Traded the fries for coleslaw and I liked the coleslaw very much... had more salad vibe with fresh crunch. BF's sweet potato fries upgrade was good and he said his grilled chicken club was very good. As a regular at Eureka Downtown, I have to say... things just haven't been the same since Derek got moved to the Henderson location. He's been back the last few days covering for someone who's out sick, and it honestly reminded us just how much we've been missing him! His energy, his personality, the way he interacts with everyone, Derek just belongs at Downtown. And let's talk about the Old Fashioned. Besides Tom, Derek is literally the only one who can make a decent one. We love our Downtown Eureka crew, but Derek brings a vibe that you can't replace. Came for lunch with coworkers and the server clearly understood the assignment. She quickly took our drink and food order and when I shared I needed to catch a plane she got my order out even quicker. The shrimp tacos were good, corn tortilla a bit dry. I also got the wild child and it was smooth and not too sweet. I also tried the ginger drink and I wish it had more ginger than mint. We had truffle fries with their sauce and it was heavily mayo with minimal seasoning in the sauce. I wish there was a bit more truffle on the fries themselves as well. This place screams bar, so the vibe was bar which was fine, just a nice place to get a casual bite to eat. All I can say about this Restaurant is Wow. We have been here 4 times and all visits have been amazing customer service . Lucy was our server today and her customer service was outstanding and she also informed us about the rewards program. Our food is always hot and fresh and of course delicious. Hats off to the chef. From my observation the managers here provide a great atmosphere and you can tell by the way all the team is and works together. We highly recommend Eureka. It's got a big bar. My only complaint is the were blasting the soccer game through the whole restaurant. It was so loud even the server had to keep repeating our order because even she couldn't hear us. We couldn't have a decent conversation. Came here on a weekend afternoon, the place was not very busy but it had people. Our server and the hostess both super kind and helpful. They started playing live music shortly after we got sat and that was obnoxious, because it was loud and hard to talk to each other. It seemed odd for a weekend afternoon at a place not packed. The fish tacos had a good taste, but was so filled the taco shells just ripped apart and ended up being more of a fork meal. The burger everyone said was an average burger. I got the Philly and the bread was so tough and chewy I also ended up just eating the meat with a fork. The meat was ok, kind of dry. First time in, was a Monday lunch visit. Place was empty ephemeral we arrived, 2 people sitting at the bar was all. We were greeted and sat right away. I ordered the pig old fashioned and it seconds in a little pig, and they pour into your glass table side. I had the Philly cheesesteak and my companions both had fish and chips. Steak was good, had a different taste than a normal cheesesteak but I really liked the twist. Fish and chips looked amazing, I immediately had FOMO and wished I had gotten it too. My wife could only eat one of her pieces so I got to try it and was really good. Nice and crispy, fresh white fish and very tasty. Nice inside, lots of tables with a center horse shoe shaped bar. I do recommend the burger it is actually pretty tasty and the meal is pretty filling. FYI meal does not come with drink. This was my first time at Eureka! and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! From across the street, Eureka! looks inviting, so my friend and I decided to check it out. The host was friendly and sat us right away. We chose to sit at the bar since we were kind of in a hurry, but that had no impact on the excellent service we were provided.
