Came back and everything was just as amazing as the first time! It was my fiancée's birthday and what better way to start it off than with bottomless mimosas. And when they say bottomless, they mean it!! They cannot let you get to the bottom of your glass so the champagne kept coming! Our server was Kathy who was my server last time and she was awesome! I had high hopes for Casa el Desayuno and I mean maybe they are really good we just didn't order the right thing? Not sure but everything was very mid, just okay. I got the French toast combo my hubby got the all meat combo. They were good but again nothing special, I could have gone to Dennys for the same thing. I also got a mango Michelada which not sure where the mango came in because all it tasted like was the Clamato. Beer wasn't even cold either so that didn't exactly make it any better. The service wasn't great either unfortunately. We got our food before our drinks and during our meal we Had to ask for water 4 different times because she just couldn't seem to remember. We went here after a graduation. I used to live near here but it's been several other restaurants before this. I was surprised by how big the inside is! And the food? Amazing! It is in the pricier side so I expected the quality of the meat to be better. The omelette wasn't anything special. The meat was seasoned good but very little meat, beans were average and the salsa was flavorful. Service wise it is fast pace so we weren't checked on very often. we use to love this place, the last 2-3 recent times we've gone we've had cold food and have had to send it back. Our coffee wasn't cold but it wasn't hot which is how coffee is usually served. We ordered a plate to share and they gave us extra plates to use and the picture I have attached is how we got our plates. One of them is clearly dirty and the other one is all scratched up, this place makes a decent amount of money to be able to keep up with clean plates. I order the chorizo skillet and it was so good but I am not much of a spicy eater and the chorizo was spicy for me. First time trying Casa El Desayuno. We initially went to the Charleston location but it was 1.5 hour wait, so we went to Lake Mead, which was a 10 minute wait. Silvia was our waitress and her big smile and friendliness made us feel like we belonged. That matters a lot these days, with how the way our country is going. Silvia made her recommendations and we followed them, and the food was delicious. So glad we followed her advice! The chilaquiles had a good balance of tanginess and savoriness. The chips still had a bite, the sauce was a bit spicy but it was the eggs that were so soft and creamy that made it different than other chilaquiles. The huevos rancheros had the same creamy, velvety eggs with a mellow sauce that didn't overpower the dish with in-hour-face spice. Loved the refried beans too! The pancakes texture was like a cake and the strawberry topping was so sweet. The chilaquiles were pretty good but the steak could've been juicier. The red chilaquiles weren't spicy and the green chilaquiles had a good tangy flavor.
