Stopped in for a quick bite with my wife while out and about. We have never been here and decided to give it a try. The host met us at the door and we were seated before the door went closed! Chips and salsa were on the table within minutes of being seated. Drink order was placed at the same time and drinks arrived within a few minutes. Ordered chori-queso and Polo Loco main course.. Wow this place is amazing! The veggie fajita was absolutely to die for! My only complaint is that it didn't say on the menu that there would be cheese in the beans as I had asked for no sour cream in order to make it vegan. My roomie and I went here after he saw that Long John Silver didn't have the dining room open. Our server was great; very attentive and didn't make us wait for anything. The food, however, left something to be desired. I had a bean burrito and a cheese enchilada. They tasted OK but the beans in the burrito were way too runny and the cheese in the enchilada was just warm and not melted at all. The salsa had a bit of a metallic taste to it and the chips were fine. Not overly greasy like in a lot of places. Where I live I would give this place three stars. There are a lot of great Mexican restaurants in the Chattanooga area. Here in Iowa, specifically Mount Pleasant, this place gets 4 stars because we drive 30 miles to have it. The menu can be a little hit and miss. I think you are safer going with a specialty dish than a combination. The fajitas and carnitas are very good. The strawberry margarita- frozen, is great in whatever size. We always come here at least once when I am visiting. I can't say if it is better than other Mexican restaurants in Burlington but it certainly blows the Mt. Pleasant ones away. read more

How do you screw up nachos? Order them here, that's how. I ordered the high end nachos with chicken, beef, guacamole, etc to go. We were there about 9p.m. and didn't know they closed at 11p.m. until the man at the register(owner) mentioned it. It was 10:30p.m. when we paid and I left in tears. Our waiter and another waiter were having a Loud conversation in Spanish on how the f-ing fat people (pinché gordos) shouldn't come in so late and our waiter walking by saying pinché pinché gordos at us with a smile. Wow unbelievable never going back and hope this gets passed around. So sad that they think people who where born here don't understand them and can have a blatant disregard for human beings feelings. This place is awful! I have tried it twice, and it is consistently terrible. The wait staff is rude, condescending, and purposely speaks Spanish as a way of insult. I didn't go there to practice Spanish lessons. The food is glop. It's flavorless, poorly presented, and in both cases, over cooked. Fast service and great food. Plus, on Wednesday you get $3 16oz margaritas. Can't beat that. The tamales are really good, as are the enchiladas. One of the better Mexican places I've been to since leaving Phoenix! If you happen to be staying at any of the 4 hotels that surround this place, I would certainly make the short walk over there instead of eating at whatever is open at the hotel. I will start this by saying it got a 2 only due to the attentive server. I've eaten at Casa Fiesta in the past and thought it was pretty good. However, this is no longer true. I agree with another Yelper that said they put lots of meat in their dishes. My chicken chimichanga had so much chicken, and it was actually decent meat... no chewy pieces. Much to my dismay, it did not have any flavor. My husband said the same about his burrito jalisco... no flavor and the meat was really watery. Then, for some sort of redemption, we got the churros. There wasn't even any cinnamon or sugar on them! WHAT?!?! How is that even possible? Going in I in no ways expected to get real mexican. Going out I indeed had not eaten real mexican rather the american mexican so (unfortunately) prevalent here in the states. But like I said, it was what I was expecting and for that they earn there three starts for providing a solid meal. I enjoy cash fiesta quite a bit. I try to stay away from anything generically Mexican (beef enchilada, burrito, taco, etc). So at Casa I opted for the shrimp ala diabla. This was a great choice! Since ordering it here a few times I've had it at several different Mexican places, even one higher class joint, and none compare. Obviously the shrimp isn't fresh, but I know that before ordering. The salsa is alright, probably the best in town, but that isn't saying much. Their margarita are good, if you get the house. DONT EVER get the top shelf. More expensive and is probably one of the absolute worst margaritas I've ever had. This is probably the best all around generic Mexican in Burlington ( there is no authentic here). The best margaritas are found at another place in town, though. I'm giving this four stars solely based on the fact that it is in Burlington. If it were in any other town, with any competition worth a crap, it would be closer to two stars. Also, the owner (I'm assuming) who always is at the payment counter - Short guy with short hair, looks like a Mexican mobster - is an absolute ass. Just prepare yourself for that going in. read more

I eat here from time to time and the cheese dip with chips is probably the best part for me! I'm a picky eater but most places still offer good flavorful tacos without lettuce and the whole nine yards. The tacos and burritos here have no flavor, its just meat with seemingly no sauce or any kind of seasoning. The cheese is probably the saving point. If you're a picky eater like me you would probably order a plain taco, just meat and cheese, and other places like taco bell or taco johns (fast food places) would offer seasoning and good food. If I could give zero stars I would..... A group of friends usually go in on Wednesdays for the Margarita deals. We don't make a mess, spend quite a bit of money, and tip well. Service has been going down hill lately and our most recent encounter might have been the last straw. We recently went in on a Friday for a friends Birthday. When we got there, NO one acknowledged that we were waiting ( a group of 6). They were very busy, but in the 10 minutes we stood there, not one person asked us how many or told us how long the wait would be. We finally got the attention of a waiter who asked us how many and we told him and knew it would be a wait for our party as all the large tables were already taken. After finally being seated, no waiter came by for 20min. We waited patiently while other customers were noticing that they got their food/drinks and they came in after us. So one customer who was sitting by the window to the cashier, let the owner know that we had been waiting. His response to the customer was "You've got your stuff right?. Then don't worry about it." He responded that he was just letting someone know, that he too works in the food industry so he understands. He was then told again to not worry about it. Finally a waiter came by and took a drink order. About 10 min later he brought our drinks out and set the tray on an adjacent table for us to get ourselves. We waited even longer to try to get food. Other tables were getting food and drinks promptly so I'm not sure why it was taking so long for us. As I said before, we were being pretty patient while waiting. When all was said and done, My bill was 3 drinks......the owner tried to charge me $28 for that round of drinks. Which was far from correct. I told him exactly what we had SEVERAL times so he could ring them up correctly all the while being clearly pissed off. He said that was not what our ticket said. I told him again what we had and told him if he had a problem with it to get the waiter. He was trying to charge us for food that we never ordered in the first place. All in all this was by far, the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It used to be a fun place to go and eat/drink and catch up with friends. Last night was the first and last time we will go to this restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but the service and drinks were horrible. The margaritas (my husband and I had different kinds) tasted like dish water with a splash of moonshine. I had to ask for water 5 TIMES and each time I was told "yeah, yeah, it's coming" they served my husband's food and I had to ask for mine when 10 minutes later it still hadn't come.
