So...I'm not a picky person. You can look through my reviews - it takes a pretty bad experience for me to give a bad review. First of all, this place has been good before so that's why I'm not going 1 star. But recently, I don't know why, every time I get the beef nachos, they are SOAKED with so much orange grease that the beans and beef were floating on top. I'm guessing it's from undrained beef.and they just throw it on the nachos straight from the pan, grease and all. This pic is AFTER I attempted to soak it up with a wad of paper towels and tried pouring it out in the garbage. Personally, I find La Cabanita in Springville is far and away the superior of the two and has never been subpar, even after going there probably about 30 times. I've been here about 6 times and it's only been good a few times.

Just wasn't a fan of the queso.. that's my main factor of judging. Pricing and other food was good though.

Great service, I was very impressed with the food but if you ask for a little extra kick or spicy get ready, lol.

The shrimp batter was salty, light and crunchy! Fries were crinkled and crisp. Slaw was nice and tangy! Probably not a great place if you're trying to watch the diet! Clean restaurant inside. Service was great! Lots of people on a Friday for lunch! Would come back and try their po boys!

We were greeted by the hostess and allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. They have table and booth seating available. Our server was really prompt and friendly. For starters, I ordered gumbo. It was horrible; look at the picture and draw your own conclusion. I do NOT recommend the gumbo!!! Save your $6.99.... THANKFULLY, everything else was yummy!!!!! My mom had the popcorn shrimp platter and I had the catfish filet platter( fried hard). The platter comes with 2 sides + hushpuppies. See pics We couldn't eat all our food so we had to get to go boxes. We also ordered lemon pie but since they were out, we got the key lime pie instead. Reallly tasty slice of pie heaven! The Ark is located off Main Street in Springville, Al. They have parking on both sides of the building. Overall, this was a solid visit. Good food, good service in a comfortable atmosphere with TVs and nice music playing. I plan to return soon!

The sports bar atmosphere is a very loud environment so it is not conducive to a lot of talking but still an enjoyable experience. My wife really likes the Zydeco Salad (sweet chili-glazed fried shrimp, mixed greens, cabbage, candied pecans, jalapeños, tortilla strips, red onions, bell peppers, jack cheese, pepper jelly vinaigrette). Pepper Jack Boudin (jack cheese, pepper jelly vinaigrette) is almost always a part of our order. If you have never had, I recommend you give them a try. The Voodoo Shrimp & Grits (bacon-wrapped jalapeño and cream cheese stuffed-shrimp tossed in sweet chili glaze, served with cheddar grits) are an interesting take on the traditional Louisiana dish. I had never had corn mixed in with my grits before but it was a nice addition. The dish is large enough to split, especially when you add the boudin and Beignet Bites for a full meal. The Seafood Poboy with a choice of boom boom shrimp, fried shrimp or fried catfish with tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo, poboy bread is another great option.

What looks like a typical sports bar is actually a well-known gem for a reason. The food was excellent across the board. We ordered mozzarella sticks, shrimp, chicken tenders, and fries everything came out hot, fresh, and really well done. Our server was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd want lively, fun, and comfortable. The price was right too, actually coming in under what I expected, which made the experience even better. Overall: Easy 5/5, this place knows it's good, and it should.

It's a small family owned business in downtown Springville. There are about 8 tables that sit 4 people and one larger for families 6-8. Very friendly staff and gave recommendations based on what I liked. The food comes in these cooking aluminum trays which I love (adds character and charm to the experience). I got a white sauce dish (chicken lasagna) and it was pretty dang good! It had sliced chicken breast, mushrooms and spinach along with LOTS of Alfredo sauce. Did need to add some salt, but maybe I'm just a salty person that wants things to have a little bite to them! Your dish comes with 2 slices of bread which are like thin gyro bread with yummy garlic herb seasoning ontop! My fiance got the traditional lasagna and I don't mean to be bias, but that was great red sauce! I also loved the tables! They were old barrels that were repurposed! They have daily specials too. I was stuffed, but heard some people getting the beignets and were yummy! Show this place some love! Worth a drive even if you don't live close!

The food was absolutely horrible. My husband and I both had pastas and I've never had anything worse. It was served in a flimsy tin pan.. strange. I got the white chicken lasagna. It was assembled like lasagna and cheese stacked with what appeared to be heated up Tyson grilled chicken strips. The lasagna noodles were burnt/cooked onto the bottom of the tray. There was WAY too much sauce in the pan. Like I had to go fishing for lasagna noodles. It had no flavor. I don't remember the pasta my husband got, but I tried it and spit it out. The pasta was served with bread that was hard as a rock. My parents shared a meat pizza.. and it was just mediocre.
