Authentic Mexican grocery store in my neighborhood. I met one of the owners and he was really sweet and super helpful. I got my Oaxaca cheese, all the Mexican Coke, Sprite and Jarritos brand sodas in regular size and liter sizes too! They make tamales in house and sell tacos on weekends. Also, fresh produce is delivered every Friday and they source a ton of items straight from Mexico. I stepped inside and felt like I had been transported to Tulum. They get pastries delivered from Lilly's Panadería also, which saves me a long drive. They also have Mexican rum and so much more. Check them out y'all, you won't be disappointed!

So the other day...... I stopped by Casa Garcia in Florissant, and let me tell you, this spot is a whole vibe. 2726 N Hwy 67, Florissant, MO 63033 Imagine walking into a mini Hispanic market fresh tacos sizzling, fresh fruits and veggies stacked high, and even home goods like comforter sets and blossom scented baby powder. It's basically like a little slice of Soulard Market without all the walking. I ordered some tacos, (3 street tacos for $11) you can actually see them cooking everything fresh in the back which is always a good sign! It took about 15 minutes for my food, and with a small staff, patience is definitely They also have a ton of unique snacks I've never seen before, so definitely be adventurous and try something new. It's not as big as their Bridgeton location, but it's perfect if you live in the area and don't want to trek all the way to the city or Cherokee Street for that authentic taste. If you're looking for a low-key spot to grab some real deal Hispanic food and maybe even do a little shopping, Casa Garcia in Florissant is it. Go check them out and tell them I sent you! #CasaGarcia #FlorissantEats #AuthenticFood #SupportLocal #FoodReview #STLFood #HeHimCurtis

Casa Garcia is a small Mexican grocery store with delicious authentic food and every day essentials. The chicken and steak street tacos were delicious. It was easy to order and my food was ready in no time.

This reminds me so much of California. Walking into the store was everything. Customer service is outstanding. The staff is nice. Everything is organized, clean and fresh. I end up ordering a Carne Asada burrito with everything on it except for lettuce and guacamole and the flavors are ‼ my burrito was so flavorful and had so much seasoning. I couldn't believe what I was tasting. It reminded me of the taco trucks in the Bay Area. And the latte the corn was fresh. It still had some type of texture crunch to it, the ratio to toppings to corn was great. I ate my food in the car it was so good. I had to go back into the store and thank the lady for making my day because it just brought back so many memories of California. And plus I needed a bottle opener to open my jarritos drink. She said they are going to expand and hopefully get a restaurant so that way they can start serving margaritas and I told her that she is going to be blessed because the customer service was on point. The food was amazing and they had everything that you need to make everything homemade in your Casa. I will be back on a Tuesday to try your Birria tacos. That's what I really wanted, but they only make them on Tuesdays (for now)

I went to two different stores looking for Sazón and Adobo. Then I remembered that a Mexican grocery store had recently opened in Florissant, and boom--they had both at a great price! The store is so clean and organized. We also found out today that they cook tacos and quesadillas. We tried the steak quesadilla, and it was AMAZING--and only $10! I will definitely be back!!

Steak street tacos 10000/10 flavor is perfect and so is the salsa verde

I'm looking forward to going back when I have more time to stroll down every aisle. There is a large selection of dry goods, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen sections. I was greeted by employees and offered help as I shopped and she did help me find the right chickpea flour. Yay! This appears to be a really nice family business. Stop in and support local!

The prices were ridiculous! Then I remembered that in AZ, a local Indian vendor sold them as imported goods. I Googled local Indian grocery stores (this place had not yet been added to Yelp) and found Seema. I called them, and glory to the highest...they had the chips! I scurried over to the grocery store with only minutes to spare before closing time. It's located right next to Swagruha Indian Cuisine, off of Dorsett, just west of 270; they share a parking lot. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by the employee. The store is fairly large. There were multiple aisles filled with Indian groceries and a refrigerated section in the rear of the store. I located the snack aisle in the middle of the store and there they were! My beloved Lay's India's Magic Masala Chips! They were only $1.49 each and I grabbed almost every bag on the shelf. (I left a couple of bags in case you're reading this and want to taste the magic.) I'm sure they'll order more, and I'll be back when they do.
