Dos Reyes makes for a regular occasion for it's fast service and cheap prices. I thought the service was friendly and a joy to have. The tacos were a little light on the meat and freshness but fit the price perfectly.

I really enjoy Dos Reyes and their patio! We came here on a Sunday and it wasn't too packed which was unexpected. We all ordered a round of margaritas, I ordered the spicy. It's a mild spice so keep in mind if you're into more of a kick. I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was good! Cheesy and the tortilla was crispy. Would have loved some guac on the side so I'll make sure to order some next time. It's super affordable and delicious- check it out.

A favorite ! The quesabirria tacos are so delicious and this restaurant does not break the bank. The wait staff of Dos Reyes is kind and consistent, as well as them being attentive and timely. I'd recommend Dos Reyes to anyone who would ask for Mexican in the area. Plus i like their patio! It makes for a fun destination for a nice day.

It was my second time here, but first time in quite a while. We started with an order of cheese dip, which was a bit disappointing. The cheese they used didn't taste like the usual authentic white cheese that is used in queso dip. I ordered the cheesy enchiladas with verde salsa, which made up for the sad cheese dip, though! I'm a huge fan of cheese enchiladas and it's not often you find them as a solo entree. The roasted corn and chipotle crème on top was a wonderful edition. We sat outside on the patio since it was nearly 80 degrees out in November (!) and the vibes were great. Our server was very quick and attentive. Will be back for more enchiladas!

I recently visited on a Thursday night around 4:45 PM with a group of six, and we had a great time! The parking situation was a little inconvenient upon arrival, but we ended up getting a spot on the street not too far away. We sat in their enclosed heated patio, and we stayed nice and warm. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We all ordered small classic margaritas, and they tasted perfect. I love how they're served in a cute mason jar. The food menu is expansive and prices are reasonable. One of my friends ordered the chicken fajitas, and they looked and smelled DELICIOUS. I immediately regretted my choice after seeing hers! I wasn't super hungry, so I ended up getting two tacos: one pollo taco and one veggie taco. They weren't necessarily anything special, but I still enjoyed them. I would love to visit again sometime and try more!

A small restaurant with my favorite birria taco. If you buy it for lunch from the lunch, special menu, it's a cheap lunch.

Small restaurant, nice and clean with good service. The Cadillac Margarita hit the spot. The chicken and shrimp quesadilla was tasty. I'll go back next time for the tacos.

To start, the prices here are incredibly cheap. If you're looking to eat a lot for a low price - this is it. The chips and salsa were good and plentiful. The margaritas taste incredibly fresh, but they don't have that tequila punch. It felt like I was drinking a spicy lemonade. I was disappointed a bit by that. The street tacos were incredible. The barbacoa was my favorite and I wish I would have gotten 3 of that. It was full of flavor and packed with meat. The shrimp was great as well - I ordered without avocado due to an allergy. It came with the avocado. I pulled those pieces out and gave to a friend. The chicken was good - but the other two were better!

Came here for Cinco De Mayo. We went for lunch to avoid big crowds and it was the best decision. We arrived shortly after they opened and sat on the patio. The margaritas were great and pretty strong too. The food was delicious. We ordered burritos with rice. We took advantage of the 3 mix and match tacos to get veggie and fish. The chips and salad and guacamole were all great too. No complaints. The portions weren't massive which we liked. There are a ton of Mexican food options in St. Louis and we would return to Dos Reyes. I recommend it.

OK, this legit might be the best Mexican food I have had since I lived in San Diego...where, admittedly, that was the only good type of food around many parts of the city. But I digress. I ordered this delivery on DoorDash, it came in about 40 minutes. The food was still hot, but I think it is a sign of good Mexican food that it does not need to be eaten within 10 minutes or else its lost an edge. Quesabirria tacos, amazing. I cannot recall what the AU type of stuff is that comes in the side, but it is excellent. They are nice and crispy, they are loaded with well, seasoned pork, and a little sour cream on the side. Some of the best I've had. The Mexican Chimi, oh man. It has a nice level of spice without being over-the-top. My wife hates this word, but it is moist. , so many flavors going on and I cannot believe I might finish both of these (and I'm not outrageously overweight or anything). The food is just that good. Added a side of spicy red salsa which I definitely recommend. As long as this restaurant stays open, I don't think I will ever order from anywhere else. Unless I've had too many drinks and it's 12:30 in the morning, then I will continue to order Taco Bell.

    How noisy is it?

Very noisy if they are busy. There are only about 6-8 tables so they fill up quick in the evening rush

Anyone know what kind of "garden vegetables" are in the veggie items? Just curious. Thanks in advance!

I wasn't super hungry so we got chips and salsa and guacamole to share and my friend got the chicken fajita. The salsa comes with two different salsa options, both were a bit spicy. The guacamole was classic and came out with a cute serving spoon. They had lots of food options but it's a bit more expensive than most Mexican spots in the city. I think my friend was a little disappointed that there was an up charge to add vegetables to her fajita and the portion wasn't as big as she thought it might for a $20 plate, but it tasted good. We chose inside and although they have a couple tables out front, I realized they have a super cute patio out back. Our server, Obed, was friendly and explained everything we needed to know as well as answering all the questions! He was great! I had eaten a big lunch, so I ordered a couple of sides, Poblano Rajas and Half-Smashed Black Beans no cotija. For the table, my daughter's ordered the Classic Queso, and Chips & Salsa Two-Ways. The Queso was good but those salsas? They were really great. The red was smokey, which I love and not a lot of places do, and the green was a spicy pineapple, I think, it was so good! There was a Handmade Limeade ordered and it was so refreshing! I enjoyed the sides I ordered; I tasted the Al Pastor Empanadas, delicious and more so with that green salsa - sweet and spicy! Great spot I am glad we tried. Would love to return for a pitcher of margaritas when I am not driving!

It's been a few weeks since I had any pocket cash to go out to eat... so I decided to pick a food…read moresource at random for a Saturday afternoon, and I'm SO GLAD I did... You know how they say one of the best things about Mexico is the food? I have to admit, I would honestly wouldn't know and just have to trust the stories I've heard, as I've never been lucky enough to go to Mexico.... But all my life I've heard stories about people who go and basically remind you.. NEVER hit a restaurant for _authentic_ Mexican food. You want to hit the street vendors. Well, St. Louis has a fantastic surprise.. Now you can do that right here in the city! Part of a three-restaurant set up, Amigo Sole is the "street vendor" restaurant that's not on the street. (And having met the owner of the full set-up, I'm REALLY hoping i get invited to the grand opening of Jekyll & Hyde) As it was middle of the day Saturday, I didn't ask for anything alcoholic (so i don't know if the reviewer that asked for alcoholic beverages and was told they didn't have any was just unlucky or if it was true.) But I'll take a Mexican Coke over American Coke any day of the week (NO, get your minds out of the gutter.. not that powdered one!). Anyway, I went simple for a quick stop, and went with the Chicken Bomb. at the recommendation of the cashier and he was quick to name this one off.. (and always remember cashiers, have a favorite READY, so thumbs up to the cashier on this one!) . And then to my amazement.. no more than 5 minutes later, HOT, tasty, cheesy, chicken quesadilla style BOMB-diggity! (Ironically this one is not listed on the website menu, only the instore menu? Come on Sole, online is everything today :) ) Absolutely delicious food.. and absolutely messy too, as it literally would fall apart in my hands.. (HEY, that's a good thing!) As for the decor.. 100% true, as Amigo Sole definitely has SOUL! (and lots of soles!). Again Amigo Sole isn't designed to be a 'great sit down' restaurant, it's designed to be street-vendor FUN!!!! and with what decoration they have, it pulls it off fantastically in my opinion. So just based on my meal, what the owner told me about the Amigo Sole, you're getting EXACTLY what you're promised a Mexican street vendor serving fantastic Mexican street vendor food, only with a roof over your head the entire time. During the meal, met again (Who i believe to be) the owner of the store and talked with him about Amigo Sole and how amazing it was to me... and he told me about the three-restaurant combination. (And I apologize sir, but I completely forgot your name when we talked!). even mentioning they share three kitchens when it gets busy (so I was kinda lucky as i think the rain scared everyone out for the day), but I'm still hoping for the Jeckyll & Hyde invitation! (I'll even pretend to find a date if I have to for the upscale part!)
