Casa Grande had excellent service everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful, served hot and and came out extremely fast. We tried the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce, tortilla soup, crunchy beef taco and the New York cheesecake topped with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream all were delicious! Stopped in here a couple weeks ago for lunch! OMG.... It was awesome! I got a cheese enchilada and a taco with rice and beans. Super simple but outstanding. It was busy with a couple different seating areas. Staff were great, service was fast. I'll come back for sure! read more

This place was terrible. Bad service, served nasty greasy dripping tacos with 1/4 grease on the plate then said it wasn't their "problem". Told us they took the food off the ticket and never did. We stopped by on a short road trip and was very pleasantly surprised. The waitress was super attentive and took our order as soon as we had a chance to decide. I had the beef fajitas and they were awesome! Very good steak cooked to perfection. My wife had the beef chimichanga and she enjoyed her entree very much. My daughter and I were driving through Jacksboro on the way home and were starving. We stumbled onto Casa Grande on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed, clearly by mostly local folks who were return customers. The atmosphere was light and friendly and the service was great. The avocado enchiladas and queso were delicious! Had the Three Enchilada dinner, it was ok as far as small town family restaurants go. Another in our party had the lunch fajitas. They came out sizzling, but they were definitely yesterday's unsold fajitas. They tasted burned, probably from the second cooking. The staff was genial, if not friendly. Let's start with taste, BLAND the only thing that had any seasoning that I could detect was the salsa, the tamales had enough masa for six of them, very little meat. We were so disappointed last Friday night when we went to what has been one of our favorite places to eat. We have driven up there from the Ft. Worth area just to eat there. We also meet family from Wichita Falls area there to eat. Well Friday night was nothing like previous experiences. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering and grandsons didn't get theirs until the rest were nearly done. People came in after we had ordered and were served first. Orders were sloppily plopped on plates. Barely any refried beans and no sauce on brisket tacos. My shrimp soup was so bitter with salt I couldn't eat it and I like a good bit of salt. The shrimp in it were over cooked and rubbery with their tails left on in soup. None of the orders were as they have been. We were so disappointed and won't go again even though in the end even though we didn't make a scene and our sweet waitress was in tears we were not charged. read more
