The food came back pretty quick, and the plate looked appetizing, the refried beans were sort of orange which I wasn't super crazy about, but you know hey, sometimes these things happen. Happen. They were tasty. On a side note, they brought chips and salsa, the chips were fairly bland and the salsa was sort of pedestrian. Didn't really have much spice to it at all. The carnitas itself was well cooked, but had almost zero flavor to it. They smother it in onions, and that helped. But you know as well as I do that. When carnitas is cooked right, it is a mouthful of flavor. On the plate it also came with rice. The refried beans, a little spoonful of guacamole and some Pico de gallo. I ordered the flour tortillas as I wanted to make three larger tacos, which I did. To be honest, the only thing that saved the day was the hot sauce on the table. Adding that to the carnitas actually gave it some flavor and worked out pretty well. Bottom line? If I'm ever back this way again, I don't think I will be stopping here. I did not try any of the other things on the menu but the one I had was just pretty average. Your mileage may vary.
