I've been coming to Qualla Java Cafe since probably 2016. I can honestly say after 10 years, I've never had a bad drink here. They have a bunch of drinks - all with pretty fun names. Again, I've never had a bad drink here so it's fun to just randomly pick one. The service is always really fast and I'm never really in their long. Sorry if my review isn't better - coffee shops are kind of hard for me to review because coffee doesn't really look good in picture form. Just drink it!

I've had their chai tea before and they were really good but I opted for an orange hibiscus lemonade. It wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing. They offer a variety of non-dairy milk alternatives too. There are some bakery items but I didn't see anything labeled gluten-free. They have restrooms available for customers in the back and many different seating areas. There is also a patio outside that overlooks a creek where you can sit as well.

The young lady aggressively snatched a $1 out the tip jar and gave to the lady. The same employee was stockpiling coffees on the counter as she slammed the cup down she spilled a whole cup of burning hot coffee onto my husband's arm. No apology, she just looked shocked. I asked for a incident report she lied and said they don't use them. I knew better! I asked for management and a refund on my order. She walked away as if i wasn't politely speaking to her. She offered no compassion or even a apology for a mishap that was actually caused by her. The manager was made aware of the incident as well as EMT service guy whom renders aid, yet still no apology was made nor was I refunded for my purchase. Another customer ask for a cup of ice to help soothe the burn on my husband's arm...the employee offered no assistance! Again the hotel and casino staff were very friendly polite and helpful during our stay, But the young lady at the Starbucks in the newer tower was extremely rude and careless. We ordered the "Say What" appetizer and the bacon jam honestly deserves to be bottled and sold on its own -- it was that good! The chicken wrap was also very tasty and full of flavor. This turned from trying something new to an episode of Cheers super fast! We laughed, and conversed, and had a good time to the extent we were really juggling whether to stay the night. But back to Asheville we needed to go. If you're in Cherokee anytime soon, definitely carve out some time for this cool little spot. Good, well-made, bar food.
