My wife and I tried this restaurant while at the casino and we were impressed! The food was amazing and the staff was very polite. The restaurant was very clean as was the tables and chairs. The restaurant is directly above the center stage bar so you can hear the band while eating. The portion sizes are generous compared to what you may find at other casinos. We had the BBQ sampler with 3 meats and two sides. The smoked turkey was not dry as with some I have tried. There are plenty of sauces on the table. I would recommend trying this location. read more

Excellent customer service at the bar. I enjoyed Prosecco while my boyfriend enjoyed a flight of 4 beers. The bartender was kind enough to give him a sample of one of the beers that he didn't have in his flight. The space is nice with lots of seating at the bar and tables. read more

As to be expected in a casino, never as good as the original. Food seemed rushed and thrown together, edible but definitely tasted mass produced. The beer is the only saving grace of this location, BUT very overpriced (casino). Brisket melt- all i have to say is less bbq sauce, more brisket! Meat was overly sweet and drenched in sauce. Menu says sliced brisket but this came out pulled (almost shredded) and tasted very much like pulled pork. Cheese was a "craft single", not that i mind but it wasnt melted. The pretzel appetizer is so small... it was a plain pretzel with no salt. Everyone said it was really good but not sure I would recommend for a large group. The sample appetizer is okay- just fried food so can't really mess it up. We ordered the deviled eggs and they did not come with the rest of the appetizers... it took about 40 minutes more. The cocktails were the best part of this experience, the sake berry was super cute. The bartender brought it out and made it at the table:) my peach cocktail was pretty good too- wish it was in a cuter glass. Conveniently located in the resort by the casino. But this restaurant was not my vibe at all. We ordered the nachos which were not good. It wasn't nachos but potato chips with cheese. We were hungry after all we did drive 12 hours and we did pick at it, but nope we couldn't eat it. After that I kept it small and ordered a side cesar salad. My friends didn't order any food after this. If you can't get nachos right then they didn't want to take the risk. We arrived at Wicked Weed inside the Harrah's Cherokee casino around 6:00 on a Friday night. We had tickets to see Fluffy's comedy show and stopped in for dinner beforehand. Other restaurants inside the casino had stupid long wait times, but Wicked Weed was able to seat us right away. We were sat at a table directly in front of the entrance. The ambiance was elegant, yet LOUD. They had a singer/guitarist performing, and I wished they'd turn down the speaker a bit. I had a difficult time maintaining a conversation with my husband and it felt like we were at a concert instead of a restaurant. Our server was polite, but it did take her quiet a while to take our order and she wasn't consistent on keeping our drinks filled; probably could've been a bit more attentive. It was a busy Friday night, so we cut her some slack. The fried deviled eggs were freaking delicious. So good. I'd go back there just for that appetizer alone. I ordered the burger (which wound up being too spicy for me to eat) and my husband ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare. We wound up swapping entrees so I could eat something, and the steak was phenomenal. A little on the chewy side; felt like the cut of meat could've been better for the price. I had to find our server in their pantry and ask for plates. I had the bbq platter. The brisket was dry and the smoke turkey was like jerky. They also ran out of ribs. When she did show up, she continued to ramble on about how long she worked there, how tired she was, and showing us pictures of her dog??? The kitchen staffer that brought our food just dropping the trays on the table and left, no talking, didn't ask if everything looked correct, just dropped and left. Another table asked that same person if they could send their waitress over and her answer was, "I'm sure she will wander back soon." The food was also disappointing. We ordered a two meat platter with two sides. The sliced brisket tasted like fatty roast beef. You need the Wicked Weed cook to train the folks on how to cook brisket. It Should Not Taste Like Roast Beef!" Not nearly smoked enough. The smoked sausage and tater tots were okay, but nothing to write home about. I'm happy to say that the Mac and Cheese was nice. On the evening of Thursday, October 24, my server, who was a larger woman, showed up to my table without a bra. I am a big proponent of self expression. The pimento cheese burger was a huge hit. The food did take a while, but it was worth the wait. It would have been a pleasant experience except for the obscenely loud music. We were seated at the table closest to the deejay, and shortly thereafter, we asked to move to another table. The new table was slightly quieter, but we still could not hear each other. I'm not sure if this was a one-time event, or something they do every weekend, but it was so loud we all left with migraines. To be clear - we are not old! When you come to Cherokee, the options are very limited. There is no room service, the new Gordon Ramsey concept is just an overpriced food court. It's nearly impossible get a reservation at Brio and Ruth Chris can be more than what you were planning to spend. Basically the food sucks. The chicken bucket has absolutely no flavor at all. Its too expensive for it to be so nasty. Don't bother with the sliders. The cornbread is worse than Jiffy mix. The only thing worth eating is the appetizer wings. I have only tried the spicy dry rub which is really good. When I asked the waitress what were the ingredients because I have allergies, she said she had no clue and had never tried them. SMDH. I won't mention the service. I will definitely come back for the wings but will take them to go. read more

At Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort for 3 days. Was up here last August and visited the Wicked Weed BrewPub enjoying the Bison Sliders for the first time. Loved them so much, that I had to order them again this time around. Quality is consistently delicious. You receive three in an order. They're absolutely delicious! Each is topped with bacon jam, in-house made pimiento cheese and a freshly made pickle slice snuggled between a soft and fluffy slider bun. Even though they're on the appetizer list, they're so filling, that when ordering with a basket of fries, one slider was more than enough to satisfy my hunger.
