The one that was not good at all, I couldn't even tell you what place it was serving from. It was in the Mexican restaurant but they were going off a different menu that day. The breakfast buffet each morning was always spot on, especially the omelette station. Got one of those every morning and they were delicious! Even with my 2 bad good spots, the service still was always spot on! The bad - hot hot hot!!!! the AC was the worst I've ever had and this was throughout the entire resort. Even the room AC was terrible and even at night it never got cold where I would expect this to be the coldest place in the resort. This also goes for the party of 20 that we were there with and that was 10 total rooms were all terrible AC so it wasn't just mine. All the restaurants with being enclosed it was awful. Constant sweating wherever you went. I felt terrible for the staff as they have to deal with the for a living and I was only there for 1 week. Every single employee/waiter/host, you name it was dripping sweat with every move they make. Dripping!! Again this is with the enclosed spaces where the AC should be pumping, but no it was not and I don't understand that. Fix it!!!! I will not come back to this resort just for that reason along. Very sad but that on the resort owners and management to fix such a simple issue. Also another bad was the beach. There was simply not one person out there on what should be such a beautiful beach with alllllllll the seaweed that takes over. Yes it's tough and I'm sure cost a lot of money for them to continuously be cleaning it up since it'll never stop, but isn't that what you're supposed to do when you own a resort to keep people coming back or at least for the first time?? Especially after you read my review along with others that mention this same issue. Plus all the seaweed with the sun beating down on it sent a stench of rotten eggs throughout the whole property. Some days were worse than others Overall, the resort grounds itself were nice. One of the smaller resorts I've been to, which isn't a bad thing, but they also did have one of the best pools I've ever been to. It was enormous and even with tons of people in it, it never felt crowded. Good temperature too. Again, the staff was unbelievable, but they need to get that AC fixed immediately and do it for the hard-working staff. Obviously for us the vacationers too, but like I said, we're there for only a specific time and these guys work there (hard) day in and day out. Fix it fix it fix it! Fix it for the staff please!!! When we first arrived, we booked a swim-out room, which was nice, but the rooms and parts of the resort definitely felt like they could use some updating. My biggest issue was the AC in our original room--it was barely working, and the first night was honestly uncomfortable. The humidity made it feel stuffy, and I had a hard time sleeping. Because of that, we decided to upgrade to the club/villa section on the opposite side of the resort--and that completely changed our experience. That area is much more secluded, quieter, and feels more upscale. We upgraded to a swim-out king room there, and it was beautiful--much newer, cleaner, and overall way more enjoyable. The private rooftop pool and more exclusive vibe made a huge difference for us. The food was actually really good, which was a pleasant surprise--no complaints there at all. Overall, I'd say this resort really depends on the room you book. If we had stayed in the original room, I probably would've rated it around a 3.5-4. But because we upgraded, we ended up having a great time. Tip: If you're considering staying here, I'd definitely recommend booking or upgrading to the club/villa section--it made all the difference for us.

They treated while I was there but it takes time and I was careful to inspect clothing when I returned home, wash right away. I'm an extremely clean guest. -Water went off for about 12 hours, a common issue in Mexico. -Cover all food. -The bed was hard, not good for side sleeping. -Propane stovetop was great BUT no ventilation and a strong odor. Be sure to open a door or window. -Some black mold painted over on the AC wall. -Promised cleaning mid-week was not delivered on time. -Host gave unwarranted criticism for leaving edible food in the fridge and placing small, sealed, full trash bags outside the door until I could take them to the receptacle. ********************************** Pros -Clean - Excellent Location -Great AC -Good WiFi -On Site Management/ Owner, though Unempathetic Concerning Insect Problems. -Responsive -Sweet Doggo -Bicycles Available -Excellent Location -Quiet & Restful I left the room spotless and have photos to that end, except edible food rice, olive oil and eggs / beans in the fridge which the staff might be able to eat. Their first note was agreeable but when Airbnb reached out that the choice was theirs, they only offered 50% refund even though they have an entire month and a half to still rent out. This is what greed looks like. I am now unable to stay with my family during a time of need and am forced to continue with travel plans given the inability to forgo this huge cost. Again, this is what greed looks like during a time the world needs the opposite. Not looking forward to the forced stay whatsoever.

The food was good, and the only complaints was that the pizza place is over where the kids play that is pretty far away from where we were and there were no pool side burger or taco places. They occasionally had a pop up that you could get food but it was specifically between 1-3. Don't get me wrong the pizza was great we just were not going to walk that far to wait an hour to get our pizza. Drinks were great and entertainment was good as well. We were there with the friends that were members, but after seeing the difficulties they were having we definitely will not be joining.

5/5 Highly Recommend…read more We booked two private tours with Absolute Adventures: first the Tulum Ruins, Swim with Turtles and Mexican Lunch on a Monday and then the Two Cenote and Mexican Lunch on Wednesday. For Tulum and Turtles our tour guide was Luis and our driver was Rodrigo. For the Cenotes, our tour guide was Arturo and our driver was Enrique. Both guides were exceptional and both drivers took good care of us. Booking online was simple and their communication about the tours, both confirming the tours before we left home and same day communication about pickup, was excellent. Our hotel turned out to be a headache about letting outside tour companies onto the property, and we ran into some real meet up issues because of it, but the team was super responsive and got it sorted quickly. It all worked out in the end, and honestly that kind of responsiveness under pressure told us a lot about how they run things. We started our Tulum tour early to beat the crowds and heat (highly recommend!). Luis guided us through Tulum and made sure we stayed hydrated the whole time, which matters more than people think when you're out in that heat. His knowledge of the area, the flora, the fauna, the history, was genuinely impressive, and he had this rare ability to be educational and entertaining at the same time without ever feeling like a lecture. At our turtle excursion he schlepped our gear and made sure we didn't forget anything, none of which was his job, he just did it because that's who he is. I was also practicing my broken Spanish throughout the trip, and Luis never once made me feel dumb or embarrassed when I got it wrong, which I really appreciated. For our next tour, Arturo took us to the cenotes. When he picked us up, he suggested we visit a different cenote than what we'd originally booked. I was a little skeptical, figured he just wanted a shorter drive. I was completely wrong. The cenote he picked instead allowed us to have two totally different types of experiences that we would have missed entirely otherwise, and I'm glad we trusted him. At Cenote Jaguar, Arturo gave our kids real time and space to jump and play, which ended up being a highlight of the whole trip for them. At Cenote Dos Ojos, claustrophobia was a real concern for us. But Arturo's tour through the caves was informative and calm enough that we felt genuinely safe the entire time. Between the logistics, the guides, and how they handled a hiccup that wasn't even their fault, these two tours were one of the best parts of our trip.

Extra info: Life jackets are required and provided, but if you don't fit a standard size XL life jacket you may want to bring your own. There's not a ton of walking but you will be on a lot of uneven natural surfaces. I recommend swim shoes with grip as the bottom of the cenotes is very rocky, and flip flops are easy to lose balance on on the stairs.

On Isla Mujeres, instead of staying in the north of the island (where we docked), John was excited to rent a golf cart and so we toured the less touristic, south part the island. The north also had it's own charm, street vendors, Playa Norte (rated in the top 10 of the world's best beaches) plus it was also home to a phenomenal dulce de leche icecream, so much so I had 2 of them in about half hour

We were picked up on time in a nice big clean car. Daniel was very friendly and was giving us history and information about the area during our ride. We parked and got on a tram to the main entrance. We entered the ruins with no issues as Daniel had all our tickets already. We were able to walk all the grounds and Daniel gave us all the amazing history and was able to answer all our questions- even the ones about the wildlife. When we retuned to the car he had a cooler with cold towels and a big variety of cold drinks for us. The excursion included lunch at a place of our choice and we asked for Daniel's suggestion as we wanted something local and not a tourist spot. He took us for some street tacos that were amazing! He was also kind enough to stop at a store so we could grab a few souvenirs and a mango stand for some fresh mango. Daniel was amazing and we will definitely use Living Dreams again and will be asking for Daniel!

A partial refund or even an effort to find an alternative solution would have made a big difference. If you're truly that busy, partnering with another service should be an option. One or 2 calls could be make to make a customer happy Instead, there was zero effort to accommodate the situation. We had to wait for your drivers because you said there was an accident by the airport earlier when we arrived. This was booked by my brother, but I normally use another company USA Transfer & my experience they are more customer friendly. A side note we were staying in Club Med 17 min ride to Airport & for sure where many of their drivers drive thru, If they wanted to assist in anyway.

It was such a convenience to charge our drinks and food to our room when we landed at the swimup bar. We really enjoyed the Infinity Pool, exclusively for GM members. The Jade Boutique has most everything you might need, from groceries to souvenirs. Be sure to check out the Monoi Coconut Fig lotion sold at Jade. It's the intoxicating lotion samples provided in the suite during your stay to help you relive the memories of your trip. We visited in early May. There were no crowds and the weather was great! Our room was spacious and even had a small pool plunge on our deck. We ordered room service a lot which was convenient in between meals. The resort is huge. Lots of walking. The staff were so so nice and accommodating. Super clean and so many wild animals and plants call it home, I can see why! The Coatis are the cutest and the iguana / lizards are huge and just hang out by the pool sunbathing. They had a water park on site, a huge PGA golf course, and also cirque's de soleil - "Joya" - the only one on the east coast of Mexico. The show was outstanding and highly recommended doing the dinner before the show! There are shuttles from place to place, but there is still a lot of walking. My favorite was the flamingos, and crocodile tour! The easiest way to navigate around is the Vidanta app. It was fun checking everyday to see the daily activities and where to eat (I also planned ahead before the trip). They had a lot of evening festivities and loved getting dressed up and having all the local food. All the pools have a bar which was so convenient. The main pool was near the beach and easy access to the water! They have a grocery mart with the best crepes, along with a gift shop and some snacks and food and alcohol. We went during Halloween week and they had everything set up for Halloween and also Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). It was gorgeous with the decorations. This resort is for time-share holders only! They had a lot of security to get in and out which made us feel safe that no one was wondering around. Your room key is a wristband which was good because we never lost our room key! Really have to give it up for the staff. Everyone was awesome & great!! Made a great memorable trip!!
