Nice little spot with great Irish vibes, especially with St. Paddy's Day around the corner. The atmosphere feels festive and welcoming, and the pizza smells absolutely amazing as soon as you walk in. Definitely a fun place to grab a bite and soak in the pre-St. Patrick's Day spirit!

Amazing amazing food and service! We ordered 2 pastas and 1 pizza to go and it took about 20 minutes to be done. The pastas were so flavorful and the portions were generous. We felt the pizza dough could have been a bit more fluffy but the toppings and flavors overall were great. The cashier helping us was so sweet and talkative (in a good way). They give free bread as well as an appetizer. Definitely would come back if I was ever in the area again!

Still love this place! I remember when it was just a small pizza place a few doors down and now it's even more bigger and a full restaurant! The food is amazing and the staff are amazing! If you're in the area you have to try this place!

My brother took me to this place in my most recent visit. I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to Italian food upstate but this place will be on list of regular places to eat at from now on. Everything was so good none of us really even talked we just ate and within minutes my plate was clean. I had the Veal and it was cooked perfectly and they had no issues when I requested the same sauce as my meat on my pasta. The place is decorated great everything is like new. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were all very friendly, smiled and completed making our dinner a great experience.

    Penne a la vodka (~$20) - don't recommend

Large portions and friendly service but the food was not great. The best was the lobster bisque (special soup of the day - $1 up charge with meal), though it wasn't your typical lobster bisque - it had noodles (and maybe imitation crab meat?) inside. The side salad with the spaghetti had a 50 cent up charge for Caesar dressing (which we got bc they did not have ranch - just thousand island). The spaghetti and meatballs wasn't bad either though not any different from what you could make with a dried pasta box and jarred sauce at home (honestly my husband makes better). Same for the penne a la vodka (which I was only able to have a few bites of). Sadly, would not recommend.

To be fair we'd read about Kaatskeller and the reviews as well as their menu, so it was on our radar. Ordered two pizzas, which are all 12 inches, so probably defined as personal size, but easily shared by two people. In our case we got two different pies. First up was the smoked trout appetizer that came with house made pita bread straight from the oven. The trout was really good, and the combination with harissa (which you can add or not as you prefer) really worked incredibly well. We sat at the outdoor bar and enjoyed some nice conversation with the bartenders Reuben and Brandon who were incredibly nice. We ate on a late Sunday afternoon, so the crowd was smaller than a prime Friday or Saturday, so there was no issue with waiting for our entree pizzas. Once the 'zas arrived, the crust was excellent - it was clearly fermented for multiple days and had wonderful flavor on it's own. It was on the thin side, but not cracker. I chose the "My Italian Friend" which featured Prosciutto, garlic, onion, parmesan, tomato, and basil. It was fantastic - cooked perfectly, close to that Neapolitan style, but yet still seeming to channel a good NYC pie. Hard to explain but it worked well. The other was the White Album pizza (shoutout Beatles reference) which featured ramp pesto. We both felt that this wasn't as good as it should be (or, we had higher expectations for ramps than they delivered). The fundamentals of the pizza were still solid. Fun cocktails, decent beer selection, staff was attentive and interested, and pizza was broadly really good. Highly reccomend!

The large wooden bar shows its age in the best way, giving off that classic, old-school feel. There are about 20 tables and roughly 10 or 15 bar stools in the main seating area. They do take reservations, and it's smart to make one if you want to guarantee a spot. We were greeted right away and served complimentary water and fresh sourdough bread with sea salt and olive oil. The sourdough was incredible honestly some of the best I've had. My wife ordered the chicken parm, which came in a large portion with fresh, house-made pasta. The sauce was excellent, truly one of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken cutlet was perfectly pounded, breaded, and crispy on the outside. I went with one of their standard pizzas a white pie with fresh garlic, honey, and other toppings that all worked beautifully together. Their sourdough pizza dough has been in the family for years from what we were told. The oven appears to be a brick oven (not sure if it's firewood or propane), but it has to be running at 1,000 degrees or more given the incredible crust. They also have a full bar with plenty of beer options. Parking is on a dirt lot across the street, with a small side lot as well. Service was excellent across the board. This is the type of spot that absolutely belongs on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I can't say enough about how much we loved the food.

The start and basics were delicious as always, but then our dish came out with pasta that was so underdone, it couldn't be saved; if they put it back on the heat, the seafood would surely be overcooked. Then the server made us feel like we were in the wrong after having to send it back twice and finally agreeing to take the dish off the bill. No offer to bring us a different pasta dish or pizza. No offer of dessert for the table. We were so disappointed, and it started a birthday weekend off on the wrong foot.

I taught at Roscoe school over 15 years ago and had one Italian kindergartener at that time. I knew his family owned Raimondo's. The kid only spoke Italian and my first thought was, well, this muse be a real Italian restaurant. 15 years later we were on our way back from the wedding upstate with the family and I remembered this restaurant and finally decided to try it. I expected an old fashioned Italian restaurant, but unfortunately it was more than just old fashioned. It needs serious renovation. We are talking musty carpets, old sad furniture, brown flowery curtains. The worst part were the bathrooms - tile was cracking under my feet, rust on radiators, rusty stains on walls. It was bad. My husband said the men's bathroom was renovated- go figure. Now, the food was decent. My family had pasta dishes and I had a panini. My husband who also happens to be Italian said that the tomato sauce "okay" which is what he says when he doesn't like something. I had a beef and barley soup, which was my favorite part of my meal. My daughter liked the taste of her pasta, and my husband enjoyed his Chicken dish. The service was average. There was only one waitress, and she tried, but the service was still somewhat lacking. No bread was brought until we asked. Dirty plates kept piling on the table (she eventually cleaned them up once she saw there is no room for food). The most confusing part was when she brought the check and didn't explain that we are supposed to pay upfront. We wasted time waiting. The prices were decent, no issues there. Overall, this place might be okay for Sullivan county, but if you expect nice Italian dining, this is not it.
