Casa Mia's has a nice upgrade to the dinning room. They have expanded for more seating with booths, high tops and regular tables. They have also add a nice full service, fully stocked long bar. TVs adorn every wall and are plentiful, great spot to watch Os and Ravens games. The food is always delicious. The menu has a gazillion options. The staple restaurant of the community has gone downhill in regards to the food the last year while the service and modern feel and cleanliness has improved tremendously! But the food is starting to struggle! Especially the seafood. Example 1: Calamari Appetizer- in a full size plate that costs $11 that was piles with what looked like calamari..nope! 1/2 fried jalapeno, 1/2 calamari. No bueno Example 2: seafood salad that cost $16- basically a oversized greek salad with 3 shrimp and 1 tablespoon of lump crab, you think you get more crab... but nope! Its feta cheese. In both cases.. the portion sizes were way off balance with the chef trying to disguise the protein with a cheaper decoy.. which also threw off the flavor of the protein itself. My suggestion. Hire a head chef that can cook and gives a shit! Or if its not the chef and the owner skimping on product.. then odds are this place is trouble and soon will be out of business. This place was pretty good. The crab dip was absolutely to die for. It is apparently one of the dishes they are known for. The pasta was also so good. The chicken parm is my favorite from here. The fried pickles were ok. They were doing buy one get one free on select pasta dishes of equal value. This is a great deal! read more

So glad we stopped here! I ordered the 8 oz. crab cake. This was the real deal. Mostly crab (with really big pieces) and such a good flavor. Probably one of the best I have tasted. My two sides were the sautéed vegetables and sweet potato fried (up charge of a $1). Sauteed vegetables were fresh, simple, and tasted delicious. Love finding a simple no frills place. We had lunch here today. Service and ambiance were good. The food was disappointing. My salmon blt was over cooked and could have used a flavorful aioli and more arugula. My friend's blackened tuna was way over cooked. Another friend had ribs which had very little flavor. So, maybe the pizza would have been a better choice. read more

Casa Mia's in White Marsh is great. Happy Hour from 3 - 7 and try their Crabcake eggrolls. Prices are resonable. The new dinning room is perfect to watch and sport on TV. Try them, you will return! read more

Just had my worst experience in a restaurant ever. We were seated next to a very loud and obnoxious large group. Asked for another table and the hostess said I can't help you. It was so loud the server was apologizing. Hurried through the meal and asked to see the manager only to be told he's not here. Eventually he rolls in and has nothing say other than he's sorry as he walks away. If this restaurant had competition in the area they wouldn't be open. Absolutely pathetic that a restaurant allows customers to be subjected to loud mouths who have no idea how to conduct themselves in a restaurant. Find another place to eat. read more

For the second time post-Covid we visited Casa Mia. It appears that they have not been successful in finding enough staff to fill their needs. The restaurant is busy, but the wait time for food and drinks is ridiculous. On the first visit after Covid we waited an hour for our food to arrive. After waiting several months to see if things had improved, we returned yesterday with a reservation for six people at 2 pm. At 4:05 pm our drinks and food began arriving in separate intervals over a twenty minute time frame. While apologetic, there was no excuse for management's decision to accept more reservations than their available staff could handle. The bar area was packed with fans cheering and enjoying the Ravens game, the back room was filled with a baby shower celebration. While the gesture to reduce a portion of the cost of our bill was appreciated, we will not be returning. read more

3 stars I give the joint up in Rural USA here out in the cornfields with limited businesses, however they can't cook chicken. Undercooked and a very thick piece of chicken in their Francaise, Marsala, and Chicken Gia sandwich. On three occasions I was victim to it, miraculously did not get sick from partially raw poultry. After telling them the first time they still sent me home with rubber. Stick to their pizzas and pasta I guess. The restaurant is odd. Very small indoor dining areas and a loud colossal bar. Doesn't mesh well for the elderly, especially the noise factor. Packed by 5pm on a Friday. Anyone still work til 5:00? No dress code which is a disgrace. Ranges from Harley leather bikers in leather, helmets and boots to 17 yr olds with mesh Nike gym shorts and flip flops that their goofy parents allow them to dine out in. Not your fine dining atmosphere kinda place if you will. Should just be a sports bar. You never see mangers anywhere in this place. The owners I assume hide in the back or leave at dinner time uncaring about how it is run. A good business has a manager or owner circulate tables greeting guests asking how things are. Not the case here. Casa Mia is in an ultra weird location too. In winter at night you can zip by it fast if you never ate here. It's on dark, desolate Route 45(York Rd) in the stix of Maryland off of deadly highway I-83 and a pain to access from 83. Horrendous parking situation at the Mia too. More than half of the parking lot not paved and of dusty dirt with cars sandwiched in like sardines. No other competition around in farm country up there besides Woodfire Kitchen with their limited pricey menu. Be patient waiting for a check. After dessert they may not return to the table again til you flag em down begging to go home. Check your takeout bags upon leaving. The Baltimore region is notorious for orders screwed up and items missing in the bag. All of these restaurants also conspired to tie knots in bags requiring a scissors to cut when you arrive home as your food is vacuum sealed shut or leaking sauce in the bag from flimsy unsecured cheap containers and boxes. Buy your own dressings for home. 50 % of the time they forget to add in your takeout. Forget..forget.. forget, and charge a $$$ bundle is the new Post Covid prescription for most places. read more

The food at Casa Mia's is basic on every level. Some things are edible, others are hard to scuff down. Their french toast is gross and taste almost chemical like. It may be because they cook it before they open and re-hydrate it with every order to make it seem fresh off the grill. Their sandwiches aren't bad and neither is the pizza when it's not burnt. Two stars because they're friendly and have a decent salad bar. Let's be real - Casa Mia's saving grace is their location. Centered in the middle of a business park, just about all of their guest are people who work in or around the building and eat here for access to quick food. It's pretty much a cafeteria. I can't imagine too many people eating here that don't work in the area. read more

We always pick up their crab cakes because they are that delicious. Tonight, I picked up 50 crab balls, which online 48 is $132 so the total for 50 would be just under $140. When I arrived, the total was $212. I asked about it and was told a supervisor would speak with me. A woman came out and I explained how the total online shows one price, I confirmed it on the phone, and now it's another price. The supervisor explained that the price of crab has skyrocketed to $52 a pound and it's so high they shut down their online sector of shipping crab cakes. I stopped her right there and said that was a lie because we just had them shipped to CA. She proceeded to tell me they shut the website down yesterday , odd because I was on the website before driving there. Regardless, after a conversation they gave me 10% off ($21), to "split the difference". Anyone can figure out that's no where near the difference. After I got home, I checked the website because I know I'm not crazy and sure enough they raised the price to reflect what she was trying to charge me. So all in all, they lied to my face twice and didn't stand by their website price. I definitely feel differently about this place now. NOT a way to do business, especially when it's their fault for the mistake. Nasty. read more

Stopped in for a meal after spending the week/weekend supporting Wreaths Across America. Had a delicious dinner with great service and were next to the warm cozy fireplace. This place is perfect for a few choices of sandwiches , soups and salad bar. Often they have a pasta special. Friday's are reserved for tasty grilled cheese sandwiches and crab cakes. They also do a great job catering! The pizza is very good! read more
