Phenomenal margaritas here. I so infrequently get a flavored marg. It's never real juice. And here it ACTUALLY IS!! And I hate sour mix...none at MUCHO GUSTO Then I got to chatting with the bartender and he made me a blackberry piña marg... my favorite. Can't wait to go back with my husband.

Mucho gusto is always good, each & time i come. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. The service was awesome, our server was quick & attentive. We came for lunch when it wasn't so crowded. The decor is super cute, I love the attention to detail and the restaurant is always clean. I also love the patio area and live music when they have it. The margaritas are sooo good, the "house margarita" is my favorite, along with "Taco Tuesday" of which you get five tacos for $15.00 and their happy hour prices are super affordable and the food portions are good!

We tried this restaurant for lunch in a Sunday and it did not disappoint. The menu was great with a nice variety of Mexican cuisine. The appetizers , quesadillas and tacos were excellent. Very fresh, well prepared and good portions. The service was also too notch. The food came quickly and they were on top of everything. They didn't miss a beat here. Also a nice casual dining atmosphere too. The location is sort of remote south of downtown Bel Air. If this place gets crowded, the parking lot may fill up.

Mucho Gusto felt more like Mucho Decepcionación. I was given a $50 dollar gift card which I thought would surely cover a dinner date for two. That was a joke. When I walked in I immediately knew this was going to be a let down. The cheap metal chairs they have are the same uncomfortable ones my college had. It looks like it was decorated for influencers with a fake vegetation wall with a tacky neon sign perfect for your photo op. For being an expensive restaurant it looked so incredibly cheap and tacky. After we were seated I began to try and figure out what I could afford when one elote, which is an ear of corn with butter, crema, and spices is $8. I got a $15 margarita expecting like most restaurants that it's going to be a big glass. I got this very pretty drink but it was half the size of what I expected. We got a dinner combo (taco and enchilada) and a plate of nachos. The plate of nachos was about the same price as the old Chili's nacho platter, only difference was Chili's was bigger and better. In regard to both dishes there was more onion than there was beef or chicken. Unless you like bougie influencer places with overpriced, bland food and cheap uncomfortable furniture, this isn't worth the visit.

First of all, the restaurant seems empty because we arrived a few minutes after opening. Second, I really like this restaurant. Donna, our waitress, greeted us with a professional demeanor and a big smile. Donna understood the value of indulging customers questions and investing a few minutes in developing a return customer. She was quite patient in dealing with my party as I warned her that I was the only one who orders right off the menu. My daughter's fajitas would have been beautiful and much more delicious if prepared the way the chef intended. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it is safe to say that we will be back.

Visited Mucho gusto for Cinco de mayo celebration this year, figured I'd share some more pictures! Yet again, this place delivered great food. I tried the shrimp tacos for the first time (I wasn't impressed with shrimp fajitas so I stayed away from shrimp tacos for a while) and I am happy to say that it might be the best taco option on the menu. Service is always fast. Even on cinco de mayo, we were able to get a table in 30 minutes (originally told us 45min but got called earlier). Ambiance is always amazing at mucho gusto, live music at their outdoor seating, matched with margaritas/table side guac, it's a fun time.

VERDICT: Excellent fun date or family spot, especially for the summer. Lots of options and the vibe is killer. ------------------------------------------ FOOD Good! Imo comparable to the good La Tolteca and Banditos, but more varied options. ----APPETIZERS: Chips & Guacamole + Salsa. Guac is fresh made. Kept apps to a minimum to save room for food (portions can be big). Wished I'd brought cash to tip the guac maker. ----MAINS - Ahi Tuna & Baja Mahi (corn) tacos - beef empanadas - quesadillas, chicken & beef - chicken and shrimp fajitas - carne asada entree, - Pollo Chesapeake Ahi Tuna good for smaller and lighter eat. Fajitas and Carne Asada Entree very filling. Empanada was really good, but recommend! ----DRINKS: Pepsi products, mocktails also available for non-alcoholic options. Try "Coco Loco" if you like coconut. SERVICE Prompt, attentive, understanding. There was a small miscommunication with my mom's order; Asked for Baja Mahi but Ahi Tuna was put in; understandable because Ahi & Mahi does sound alike. She quickly fixed. Our main server was consistently on the ball with my whole party of 8 (that was low key annoying me with its indecision, lol.) AMBIANCE Exceeded expectations. Actually very cute set up for photos, indoors and outdoors. Little LED quite and photo space indoors. Live music was playing. They had a funk band called Basitt playing, which I have now become a fan of. (Just the vibe I love.) I guess they have live music at other times too.

After initially trying this spot during Happy Hour, we've been back a few times. They're located a bit off the beaten path in a smaller strip of shops. A nice bar area with a good amount of high top tables. Also, a decent sized dining area. We ordered their Nachos with steak. Right amount of cheese to chips ratio and generous amount of seasoned and delicious steak. Shrimp Empanadas & Taquitos were excellent. The Margaritas are a speciality. The Spicy Margarita is one of the best I've had! On another visit, they happened to not have the Birria Tacos so we ordered the Carnitas Tacos and unfortunately they were a miss-the meat wasn't seasoned and lacked flavor. That said we also ordered a Chicken Chimichanga to share and enjoyed it. I would say this is elevated Tex Mex so prices are higher and portions are reasonable but not over the top. Service has been upbeat and friendly on all of our visits. They do get busy for dinner especially on the weekends and atmosphere is loud and upbeat. Brunch is available on Sunday and I saw they have Margaritas to go as well as Tequila and Mezcal flights. Don't miss the Spicy Margarita and Happy Hour!

Service was surprisingly fast! Our servers were super sweet. Drinks were yummy. Can't go wrong with a margarita! Enchiladas were kind of basic. Ahi tuna tacos were good but I was still hungry. Fresh, good crunch. Quesadilla with veggies was great! All presentation was beautiful. Cons: no chips and salsa ($4?) and no happy hour

Hey guys. Had a craving for Mexican food after spending a Saturday afternoon at Orioles game in Camden Yards. We were able to get immediate seating around 7:30PM. Usually, this place is very busy on Saturday nights. There was live music. Our server was pleasant and attentive. We ordered chips and salsa, steak tacos, fish tacos, and tostado. I highly recommend getting the chips and salsa. The chips were nice and crispy. My steak tacos were well seasoned and tasty. My wife enjoyed the shrimp tacos and would order it again.

We walked in and were met with a polite, friendly face. We were seated right away, there was no wait. Our waitress was Alyssa R and she was fantastic! She was polite and knowledgeable and offered suggestions for us. We got the Queso Fundido as an appetizer and it was so good! I had the Burrito Ranchero with steak, it was delicious! My husband had steak tacos and ahi tuna tacos and he enjoyed both of them. We were offered dessert but we were so full from all the the delicious appetizer and entrees. I would recommend this place, we will definitely go back!

Service is good and they are very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. Server very well acquainted with the menu and they even have specials off the menu. Menu doesn't have tons of choices, but makes sense when everything is prepared fresh and what is on the menu is done extremely well. First, drinks... yum! They have a terrific happy hour deal. That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back.

They have a small menu, but sometimes that's nice not having to make so many decisions and usually that means the courses are quite good. I ordered the peartini, which was good but didn't have strong pear flavor. They brought out bread with our starters (3 pieces for 2 people - I never understand that!) which was tasty and my salad course was delicious. My husband really liked his soup too! For our entrees, he got the filet mignon which he said was excellent, but my shrimp and crab with gnocchi dish was disappointing. I think the sauce broke so it was swimming in oil. I tried to eat the pieces off the top and the shrimp were huge and gnocchi very soft and flavorful, but I couldn't get over the amount of oil. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée which he enjoyed and I got the s'mores. Mine was good, but the chocolate was very thick and heavy. I was hoping for a lighter mousse to end my meal instead. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our date night out, but I think the food is a bit inconsistent.

Tik Tok made me do it and I'm glad I did it!…read more My co-worker recently had been seeing some videos about the food at Newberry Cafe so of course we had to make a lunch time stop to see what everyone was talking about. Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.
