The food was cold for my table of 10, horrible cooks here. Will not go back ! My sever was 1000/10 but the food sucks and is disgusting. Wasted 100$ this night. Between 2 families. Get drinks only or go home. We also ordered two large queso and got the smallest bowls they own. Ordered a chicken fried steak, and it was cold, barely any gravy. Gnats were flying around our table. I won't go back. The only hot thing we got was fajitas and it's only because of the hot plate. The sides were trash. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I visit this restaurant often and while the servers are consistently friendly and very hardworking, and the food is always fresh and delicious, one of the managers I think her name is Emily, leaves a lot to be desired. She often seems checked out and unwilling to step in when things get busy or stressful. It's frustrating to see the staff doing their absolute best without the support they clearly need from leadership. Great service starts at the top, and I hope this gets addressed. read more

While visiting my brother in Texas, we decided to eat here. When we arrived we were instantly seated. I looked around and there were 7 tables that had not been cleaned. Our server took our order and brought us chips and salsa. We request caso dip and guacamole. But they were out of guacamole. We had to wait for additional chips and had to ask twice for our caso dip. We finally got our food, but I had no silver ware. I requested silverware and our server said she would get us some. 5 minutes later she returned and stated "we ran out" and walked away. I requested the Manager and advised him of my issue. The Manager only said "I am sorry". Eventually he just walked away and I never received my silverware. I had to borrow silverware (unused) from a guest to put my food into a to go box. No discount was given on our bill and we never received any explanation for the issues we had. This ruined a get together with my brother. Corporate should take a long look at this useless Manager they hired. read more

Our dining experience was excellent! Scott F was our server and is a master of his craft. We went on a Sunday after church, and, although the parking lot was almost full, we were cheerfully seated immediately. Our food came quickly I'm spite of being short-handed in the kitchen. It will definitely be on the short list for places to ear on Sunday after church. read more

What a great little spot! We are traveling through and thought, what the heck? The service was was very friendly and our food came out super quick! We ordered beef fajitas for 2 and the meat was very tender, seasoned well. My daughter had chicken nuggets and they were as you'd expect :-) I am impressed! read more

I get that this is Vidor and if Casa Ole is their idea of fine Tex-Mex or Mexican food, then there's the biggest problem. Their salsa is like tomato sauce. It was creepy and thick and flavorless. And creepy. I don't know how salsa can be creepy, but this one was. The queso was a standard one. Not bad, not great. Food was edible, for sure. I didn't get sick, nor (to my knowledge) did anyone else in my party. It just wasn't awesome. If this is the only choice for Tex-Mex in Vidor, then I guess go for it. Just know that the salsa is weird and they call enchilada sauce "gravy" on the menu. I was terrified when I read "Cheese enchilada covered with gravy. Served with rice and beans". It's just enchilada sauce. Not cream gravy. Don't be scared. My friend got the Fajitas Ole (chicken, beef, and shrimp). It was a TON of meat, served with rice and beans. But they only gave her 3 tortillas with all that food. Her fiance got some chicken breast stuffed something. He liked it. The kiddo got queso and chips. Apparently he approved as he was covered in cheese. I was about to get back on airplane, so I didn't want to risk it with enchilada 'gravy' or beans... so I got the chicken fajita quesadillas. Decent. Nothing special. I make better ones at home. It's Vidor. That's about it. I will say that our waitress was very nice and quite attentive. read more

I was visiting my dad this weekend and decided to stop by casa ole because we have one in my hometown, Odessa TX. The one in Odessa is delicious but this one... not even close. The salsa was basically ketchup. No free green sauce. And my "enchiladas" were 95% water. My boyfriend got quesadillas and he felt sick after. He was highly disappointed especially because I talked up casa ole so much. Not to mention, the staff was rude. Waitresses acted like they were to good to be there and were to busy talking to each other to say bye when we left. Take your money to a real Mexican food place. read more

With this being a chain restaurant you would think that the food would at least be comparable but it's not. We've only eaten here 2 times prior to our 3rd and final visit. We were here with the kids the other Sunday after church. Waited about 5 mins to be seated which isn't bad. But the hostess seated us and while we looked over the menu and waited on the server. The server only said something to us once the whole time we waited and that was "I'll be right back to take your drink order" of course that didn't happens. About 15 mins later the bus boy shows up with chips. It took that long. At that point my husband and I decided it wasn't worth our time or the kids time to wait any longer and we left. The menu is horrible. They have what they call "combination plates" for like $8+ and they have 1 main item and then rice and beans. That's not by any means a combination plates. Plus the kids menu prices are like $5. And they don't even eat it all. Not worth the time or the money. read more

I was visiting Vidor and wanted some Tex-Mex. Casa Ole was not the place to go. The food was not all that great (but generally edible), but the service was non-existent. We sat for almost 5 minutes before having to ask for water. Two people were seated at the table across from us and it took so long for a waiter to appear, they got up and left. I'm not sure what was going on -- either this place is managed REALLY badly or they were very short-handed. Our waiter would disappear for long periods of time, so our chips, water and bill all had to be requested from other staff after long waits. read more

Called 4 times for take out order in last 2 weeks, and was placed on hold for very long time on each call. Finally had to hang up and get food somewhere else. The customer service has been very bad lately. If you are going to place someone on hold for more than 5 minutes, you need to hire more staff. read more
