A couple of burritos to go. Got a chicharrón and also a green potato and cheese.

Been coming here for years when I was young and hungover for their famous menudo. I decided to bring my mom here again after not coming here for over 10 years. Parking was packed, they seemed to have a big family gathering for a Sunday brunch and also your regulars. That to me, means the food has to be good. Menudo: I ordered a large and a small menudo. The broth was good. I just wish the meat/tripe was cooked longer. Maybe an hour more of cooking time would have softened the menudo up a bit. It was kinda tough. Green potato burrito: It was ok. It was boiled potato in a white milky type of cheese and a side of green sauce. That's it. Bland and the potato was a bit undercooked as well. Add some egg to it and add the green sauce in there and you have a winner. One thing I also want to add is their flavor of hot sauce for their menudo. I almost finished the entire container. I need some heat in my life and this chile failed to do so. Maybe use chile en aceite, roasted chile de árbol flakes or something. I need heat! Overall I had a good experience and a great place to people watch. It reminds me of the little food changarros on the side of the road on Sonora and Sinaloa. I would come back for the ambiance, which is country and farm workers and not so much their food. It just needs to be cooked a bit further. It wasn't bad at all. I guess I just wanted them to be the best menudo spot in town.

Casa Ruiz Deli aka Cache Creek Grocery is half small grocery store and the other half is a "Restaurant" well they do have indoor tables and chairs.... Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, this place is a nice little spot out in the middle of nowhere and prices are reasonable and people are friendly!. This is an interesting place and very unassuming. It's on a road surrounded by farms and there was a steady stream of patrons that came thru when hubs and I went. Everyone except one guy was Mexican if that speaks to the food. The menu is conservative and based on the yelp reviews, I went with the green Chile & cheese burrito. Hubs got the menudo and so did every other person who was there and those who came in after us. The burrito was disappointing because it was pretty much all potatoes. I didn't get any cheese nor chiles. Next time I'll go for the chorizo burrito or tacos. The menudo must be bomb because even the little kiddo at the table next to us got a bowl. The gentleman who runs the place is friendly. I would like a better array of salsa options but I loved that onions and chilies were on every table, so I doctored up my burrito and green salsa that came with it with the condiments on the table. Hubs liked his menudo and wants to come back.

I had a potato with chorizo & egg burrito and it was delicious. A house-type atmosphere. Service was on point.

Best menudo in woodland hands down. Also recommend getting the burrito with potato, chile verde and asada!

This spot takes classic hot dogs and burgers and levels them up with bold Mexican flavors, and it 100% works. My personal favorites are the birria and vampiros. The birria is rich, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the vampiros come crispy, cheesy, and loaded--easily some of the best bites on the menu. The vibe is casual and welcoming with a chill outdoor setup, and the staff keeps things friendly and fast. Pro tip: skip the line by ordering ahead online. They're usually pretty quick with the orders. Bottom line: Doggeros is a low-key gem serving creative, crave-worthy comfort food you'll keep coming back for.

Came here on a whim since I was in the area!…read more There are so many unique options here. I wanted to try either a hot dog or burger. The cool thing is that their buns are house made! I ended up getting the papi chulo super doggo between that and the Sonora doggo. The main difference between that and the Sonora doggo, as it was explained is that this one is a little spicier, which I was looking for. The bun itself was a little crumbly than I would have liked, but still soft. There was A LOT of sauce as explained, which I guess should have been a warning for me (I'm not a big huge sauce person). It was almost a little overwhelming in terms of amount of sauce and covering the other flavors, but it was good. Very messy, of course. I also shared the elote cup, which also had a lot of sauce, but I liked how much tajin there was. Prices were reasonable. Service was very friendly! They have an outdoor covered seating area. There is hand sanitizer nearby, but I did not see a bathroom around. Overall, they had some unique options on the menu (who would have thought you can find something like this in Woodland?), and I would like to come back to try their other options!
