I ordered food online through Amazon/grubhub app. Said my order would be ready between 12:45 - 12:55pm. I got there a little past 1 because I've orded there before and it's never ready. I go to the counter and tell the guy I'm picking up, he says he has no order for me. I show him my online receipt. He says he doesn't us grubhub, only doordash. I told him I've ordered through grubhub there many times before, he tells me to call. I orded food from a different restaurant while in the parking lot of this restaurant. I get there, waiting to pick up my food and I get a text from grubhub saying my order will be ready 1:25 - 1:35 from the original restaurant I was just at! OK..... So I get home, contact grubhub about the issue, they give me a refund. Cool, great. Then get an email from stating that my order is canceled because........ Went in this morning for some burritos to go and the service was so fast and the guy who took our order was so nice. We got the California burrito with carne asada, and got the breakfast burrito with hot link. After we paid, we sat down and he asked us if we wanted complimentary chips and salsa while we waited- HOW NICE! Nothing is free anymore so it was really unexpected and extremely appreciated. We decided to give this place a try since the reviews were good. There is a good amount of parking and lots of tables inside. Some music was playing and there was a jukebox. However, I was extremely disappointed and not sure how people found the food to be so good. The portions are a good size, we ordered a taco de carnitas, taco de papas, breakfast burrito and menudo. My main reason for going is because I was searching for a place with some good menudo. The menudo came out piping hot with homemade corn tortillas. Tortillas were good but the menudo had NO flavor it was sooo bland it tasted like water. My tacos had no salt and were also bland. The salsa was watery. My husband said his burrito was ok but nothing he would go back to order. The service was good and the waitress was really nice which is why I am giving it a few stars I'm hoping it was maybe an off day for the cook. But unfortunately I won't try it again. Also FYI- They charge 4% if you pay with card but give a 4% discount if you pay with cash. read more

So this place is just down the street from my house, since its a new business i tried to give it a shot. Never seen a restaurant so disgusting. From the food on the floor the messed up kitchen, the uncleaned tables and thought maybe they just had a rush so no big deal. Ordered a burrito and 2 street tacos, super simple. The tacos were okay but the meat didn't have any flavor to it? Like no seasoning or anything. The burrito was also flavorless, like the tortilla and cilantro had more flavor than anything else. I was really disappointed especially with the prices being what they are. I'll probably give them another shot in a week on a different day and see if it was just a bad day. read more

I really want to give this establishment more stars because their food is good but the service needs improvement. Everyone is friendly and welcoming but it seems like there's some miscommunication between the time your order is taken and the time it's received in the kitchen. Incorrect orders come out and/or food is missing. One time, we ordered three different types of tacos and only two of the three were received. I asked to be sure we wouldn't be charged & the male who'd taken our order never even wrote it down so the kitchen didn't receive the order. I'd ordered it with my food order, before adding the other two tacos later though. I also ordered carne de puerco con chile verde & ended up with carnitas bathed in chile verde even though they were tasty, it's not what was ordered nor described on the menu. Went in for lunch today and lots of tables were getting Incorrect orders and some complained that their meal was almost done while their tablemate hadn't even received their food. Others got tacos that they returned because they hadn't ordered them. Another table got an incorrect burrito. Hopefully this gets sorted out before it affects business. I rate only on Pozole, with that said, the soup had a bit of a smoky flavor, maybe from being cooked to long. The hominy was over cooked and tough. Much of it was splitting. Made it hard to chew up. The meat was good, with the use of neck bone, or similar, but had way to many bones, that had fallen into the soup. Had to season it bit to get to taste, due to its blandness. The tortillas were good, and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Service was good. Unless there is a change in how the soup is prepared, I won't be returning. read more

I've been to Casa Jalisco a few times because it's near my house and every time I've been disappointed. Today I got 4 tacos 2 asada/2 lengua. The lengua was okay, it was cubed but didn't have much flavor, the asada was had a grainy taste almost like ground beef didnt taste like asada at all, I also ordered a quesabirria, and it didn't have cheese, it had Birria, onion and cilantro and it was lightly grilled. The tacos were also falling apart because the tortillas were wet from the juice of the meat? The only positive part about the place is their Habanero salsa, it's very cream but very spicy, one of the best salads I've had. it's the only reason I would go here but I won't be getting the asada or lengua. Breakfast burritos are amazing! Always add avocado, you won't be disappointed. Their coffee is delicious too, made with piloncillo so it's already sweet and flavorful. The owner is super nice and very accommodating to vegetarians, even the beans are made without lard, and they're really good. Rice is on point, the red salsa is hot and savory, the green is tangy and more mild. I visited Casa Jalisco two times and both times I ordered burritos - one breakfast burrito with Asada and had a lot of fat/gristle on the meat and was around the time they opened for business so I made another trip a month later for lunch giving them time to get established. I ordered a Asada burrito and it was the same way a mouth full of fat. I will not being going back to this establishment again. New in Woodland and a nice surprise. Our group of 10 (unannounced) ate there recently. Woodland is known for great Mexican food, but this place was exceptional. Most places serve Mole Poblano with chunks of chicken chopped up in a dish, but this place serves it traditional with full pieces of chicken. Tortillas were perfect and other dishes that we ordered including taco or burrito plate were exceptional. They know how to cook and take the time to present it with pride. Order took a little bit longer, but the dishes were made fresh. Separate checks for all ten. No problem, waitress was friendly and accommodating. I think she really likes her job.
