It's been awhile since we've been to this location, and it did not disappoint!! We we're greeted with friendly smiles and had Outstanding service from our bartenders, Nicholas and April! Our Margaritas were Perfect! All 10 of our groups dinners were delicious as well. All the staff was wonderful and I got to meet Gilbert, who has owned this establishment for many years. We had a great waiter he was personal and had a great personality. The food was very good we order the La Comalada. This came with chicken, pork, and steak, rice, and beans. Grilled onions, grilled green onions, Napali and chorizo. It also came with corn and flour tortillas and two kinds of salsa.. Had a margarita a Mango something. It was so good. My family just moved to Fort Mohave and I was really happy this was the first Mexican restaurant we tried. The restaurant itself is very cute, clean, and spacious. The food was absolutely amazing I ordered a chimichanga which always scares me at a new place but the chicken was shredded and not diced (score) and not obnoxiously covered in sauce (double score) My favorite chimichanga ever. Our server who I believe was named vernesa, hopefully i'm correct, was super sweet and my 4 year old has never smiled at a server before her. This will definitely be our new go to spot. I ordered the flat enchilada breakfast and it reminded me of my Mom's home cooking. My boyfriend ordered the machaca breakfast and he said he loved it. The place is very old school with quite the decor. I came here for dinner with a group of over 12 people with no reservation. And it was no problem seating us. I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. It was a very large plate enough for two but I was very hungry and three of us ordered the same. There was an abundance of chicken, vegetables and steak. It smelled awesome and tasted great. A good amount of rice and beans too. The margarita was okay a little too tart for my taste. The food was old too just not good at all. One green chip on the dish and orange peel maybe parsley all that garnish not necessary like cheese and zucchini in the fajitas not good. Terrible experience 6-19. Took over 45 min to get our food. They forgot one of the meals. They keep saying they were working on it but finally it came after everyone else was done. When I talked to the manager he couldn't care less. This place has gone way down hill. When management can care less if there is an issue there is a bigger problem. Customer service sucked. I was shopping in Fort Mojave and decided to give Serrano a try. I was greeted as soon as I entered and seated immediately and offered a drink. I usually order the Fiesta tostado but decided to give their fajitas a try. Chips, salsa and bean dip was served with my drink. Fajitas were sizzling hot when served. Serving size was large enough for me to have leftovers to take home. The rice was rather bland and tasteless so I added some of the mild salsa to kick it up a little. The fajitas were cooked with beef, zucchini, green peppers and onions. Very tasty. Waitress was very attentive and polite. Kept my drink glass full and checked on me several times. Arrived 5 PM on Labor Day! Richard is our server!!!! He is extremely friendly and completely calm and has a very super cool demeanor! We live 3 min from here! We always wanted to visit but mostly cook at home! Richard was the first impression and it was a very pleasant lasting impression! He really likes people and if not! We stopped by here with some friends who invited us. We were 11 people, and we were hungry! Our friends had gotten there before us and asked us to stop by. So we did. We got to the front door at 8:30 on the dot and the doors were locked. We knocked and got a waitress' attention and she came and opened the door and asked if we were with the party inside. We said yes and she let us in. Once we were inside one of the guys in the back walked out and said, "We closed 10 minutes ago." Then he walked into the back to see if we could still be served. If there's one thing I've always known, is when they say no, it's no, either they will cook the food wrong, or be mad about it. So I told my whole crew, "let's go, we aren't eating here." Turns out one of their cooks even got mad and left, and almost ran us over in the parking lot!! As a business owner, this is terrible service!! We've been visiting this restaurant for a few years now when we're over this way. Their food is delicious and service is excellent! I love their chile relleno, it's light and delicious like homemade instead of way overcoated like many I've had other places. We will continue to visit each time we visit Bullhead City area or Laughlin. We like that location as well. read more

After our Sunday services we came with 25 people for lunch. We've been here many times before and had a good time even though service was slow and the food was decent. Today was different. We were seated promptly and greeted warmly and it ends there. I had to eventually go get menu's for our group. We asked for lemons with our water.....multiple times. Never got them. We understand the gratuity would be understood as our group was large, but were told NO SEPARATE CHECKS. Ok. Well, we had 1 server for 25 separate meals and needless to say some had cold food. They delivered a meal which was wrong to our table. It was sent back and it was obvious instead of making a fresh plate they substituted the missing item delivering cold beans and rice 10 min later. I get charges for tips for large groups. What I don't understand is why 1 waiter to deliver 25 plates. TIP'S = "To Insure Prompt Service". We didn't get our TIpS but I paired mine. Then 4% on top to use a credit card because they would not do separate checks!!!! I've been coming to this location for nearly 20 years with groups. In the last 3 years on a monthly basis. We had friends leave because the waiter was inattentive or just too overwhelmed because he was all alone serving our group. We started with 27. 25 stayed and needless to our almost $500 bill was paid and this will be my last time with friends to Casa Serrano. Go to El Charro in BHC. Better service! Food is always perfect and they care. I thought Casa Serrano was a great place but after being here full time for two years it is no longer our go to place for a meal with friends. Ps. We come to this restaurant in Fort Mojave, every time we visit Laughlin. This last visit started out less than great. We were seated quickly, and our order was taken in a timely manner, however...... We waited approx 45 minutes for our meals and it indeed was salty. I had the Chilequilles which was less than impressive. Eggs were over cooked and the tortilla chips were apparently cooked in the sauce. In and of itself, probably not a bad idea, but did not complement the dish. When our food arrived,neither my husband nor myself were pleased with our dishes. My shrimp was very overdone and rubbery. I had ordered 'Diablo" which is usually very spicy; this wasn't. My husband ordered the carne asada burrito. He said he couldn't taste any of the carne asada spices. So, the food was not good. The food looked good; there was just no flavor. I order quite often from here and today 02/14/2024 I called in an order at 6:30 pm. Carne Asada Taco Salad 3 way Combo 2 ground beef enchiladas and a tamale. Lady said 20-25 minutes Husband texts me to see who took order because they couldn't find it. My husband asked the Bartender if she took order she said yes and ticket was still in her apron. Husband comes home with food it's cold and his Taco Salad had NO BEANS!!! Guess it's time to find a New Spot. read more

The food, service, and the ambiance in this restaurant merit visiting it. I visit the restaurant whenever I am in Laughlin and prefer to go at Happy Hour. Fort Mohave sight was a HuGE disappointment! 7 of us were there for a birthday celebration. Service was slow, multiple orders had to be sent back because they were not what was requested, we had to ask for drink refills. The asada in my burrito was over cooked and tough.
