This is always our stop to go when we're heading back to California to Home. We always get a Carne Asada burrito a drink and french fries. however this time we got Carne Asada burritos a couple of shredded tacos and we asked for french fries and didn't get them but we were not charged for them. Perhaps maybe the drive-through attendant should repeat orders back to patrons to confirm what they ordered. Our taco shells for our shredded beef tacos were stale, The Carne Asada burritos meat was not edible very tough. This was the first time the food wasn't up to par and I'm hoping it was just a bad day and in the future when we try that it is better. read more

I recently went to Rivas on the days they have their chicken tacos for .$99 and they are now worth .$99 because they hardly put any chicken in the tacos!! They make them look good and flavor's still good but all you get is a shell and one LITTLE scoop of chicken. I don't go on other days because the tacos are $4.00+ each and that's WAY too expensive for one taco with lettuce and cheese. Sad to say, no more Rivas for us. read more

Stop by to pick up some tacos for my mom. Saw the had a special on Tacos 99 cent chicken tacos. Thought I'd give them a try since I had tried other things off the menu that was very good. Well the person taking our order was polite and very service oriented. The order was taken 99 cent 2 chicken tacos. When we got home and severed my mom i notice the tacos had very little shredded chicken. I should have known better for the price. But please put some more poultry in the tacos. Once I added more poultry to the tacos that I had she absolutely loved them. read more

This place is great! Great prices, lots of food for the price, and the young man with the LA hat (BOO) at the front counter is very friendly. We always joke with him. We have been there several times now and have tried many items. Very generous portions of shrimp are on the plate, and on the burrito. Place has always been clean. If you want fresh made mexican food at a great price, I suggest this place. read more

We ordered takeout, so I didn't get the full dine-in experience. The food was okay, the sauce was fine, but the other red sauce lacked flavor. It was too liquidy. It would be nice if they included lime wedges. Next time we're in Arizona, we'll definitely try dining in. read more

We ended up here after remembering our fav was closed on Sunday evenings. We have ordered here many other times and it was good. Not tonight. I ordered 2 hard shell tacos at $4.50 each and what a disappointing experience! Each had maybe 1 tablespoon of meat. They were so soggy when I picked them up they split apart and honestly had about as much filling as the 2/99 at Jack in the box. The other 2 dinners we got were combos and they were generous portions and good but good thing I had some left overs since these didn't fill me up at all. Sadly this will be what we Remember and won't go back anytime soon. read more

Not all Mexican food is good, but Riva's is REALLY good! We decided to eat Inside the dining room and it was exceptionally clean, they do have a drive thru for anyone who wants to take food to go. It is so nice to sit down at a table that is not sticky and makes you wonder what the kitchen is like. They have an open kitchen concept so you see everything including the staff making your food, which I appreciate. The cashiers are super nice, back to the basics of customer service, which seems to be lost at a lot of food establishments these days. They have a big selection of food, so we ordered a BRC, cheese enchilada plate, vegetarian nachos, and then a kids chickens tender and fries. The food lived up to our expectations! Whoo hoo!!!! Food had great taste, everything was fresh and made to order, and we waited maybe 5 minutes because they have a full staff making the food. They have locations in AZ, Nevada and Utah, so they are doing something right. Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Mohave Valley area. I will definitely be coming back when I am in town again, so try Riva's...you won't be disappointed. read more

Well we have come here a couple times. It's always empty and now I understand why. Came here last week and got a meal and horchata... everything was great. Today we come in and order the horchata and it's very watered down. I asked for another option and was looked at like I was crazy. Mentioned I was here last week and had the same drink and I know it tastes different . He said "I guess I can do that" with an annoyed look. Very rude. We WILL NOT COME BACK HERE. Usually my husband and I go to El Gallitos every Friday for our chimichangas Today I thought I would try the new one. So disappointed! It cost $10 more and the meat tasted old and burnt and there was not much meat it was filled with rice and half the size of El Gallitos ! Had to pay extra for pico de gallo and no cheese ! I got a breakfast bacon burrito looking at the reviews people said it was pretty good so I decided to try it out. The service was pretty fast didn't take that long but it looked like after I got my food and I took a few bites instead of potatoes, it looks like it had french fries inside, the salsa had really big chunks the tomatoes made it soggy and had no flavor at all was very bland. Even the eggs needed salt. The bacon was completely soggy and mushy. Oh, but I don't think I'll be back. The size of the burrito was pretty big but lacked flavor, no seasoning at all . I said please give me bunch of the red and the green sauce, got home and they only gave me 1, wasn't even enough for half of one of my dishes. And worse then that the chimichanga didn't even have meat in it, it was literally just rice and beans. I've ordered it before and it didn't even have rice in it. Just stopped at Riva's real Mexican grill for the first time since they recently. Ordered a plain bean and cheese burrito which cost almost $7.00, also asked for an ice water of which they were going to charge $1.50 so told them to keep it since it was not bottled water, just Ft Mohave filtered(hopefully) water! So very disappointed in there price and the taste/quality was not worth it so we will never recommend this and will never return o Rivas. With today's prices and economy being so bad beans are still cheap this was about a $2.50 burrito. read more

Well, another fast food Mexican joint in an area filled with them. However, it is one of the better ones, maybe even the best in my opinion. I had a steak burrito (carne asada) and it tasted great. My wife had an Al Pastor quesadilla, which was great. We will for sure be back to try other things. For being a new place, the speed was on par with other places. Rivas real mexican grill aztec rd fort mohave, az my co worker order a bean and cheese burrito with egg and Pico de galo, also a steak and egg burrito with potatoes added and no Pico de galo through door dash, which we have ordered before with no issues. on this particular day (06/01/2023) we ordered our usual order through door dash. we got our food but the bean and cheese burrito had no egg and no pico, the steak burrito had no potatoes and had no pico, which is half right. the salsa that was sent with the burritos, I could tell was no good by the color and smell, I tried it and how and I was correct it was very sour. I attempted to contact the store to inform them of the mix up and to check there salsa. I spoke with a young lady, did not get her name. I explained to her the situation and she said that they couldnt add the egg in there system to charge me so they just didnt do it. I also informed her of the salsa being bad and she completely just disregarded that. I told her if you couldnt add it then why did they not call us to inform us of that and make sure that that was ok. she said they couldnt add it and I wasnt getting it for free (rude). I let her know that I wasnt looking to get it for free and I knew that the eggs were extra. I then asked to speak to the manager. of course the manager was not available and she didnt know if she would be in today. I tried to get a corporate number and noone seem to know it and of the 5-6 other stores I called no managers were available. I just dont understand why if we have ordered this same thing before with door dash, and was charged accordingly, what was the problem this time and what was with the attitude the employee was giving. Surprisingly, they were packed with meat and dressed with a nice stream of guacamole sauce over fresh chopped tomatoes and onions. Served with a side of beans and rice! Plus a drink! All for $8.99! The food is good. However every time we order they get it wrong. No matter how many times they repeat back to you at the drive thru something is wrong. Tonight they gave us a shrimp taco instead of carnitas. My husband has a severe shellfish allergy. I called the girl to let her know and she said "yeah I remember " and repeated our order correctly. She said yeah I'll let them know after i explained what happened. That's not good enough. First off an apology maybe? It's careless and if we didn't live 15 minutes I would have asked for a refund. Nothing offered to rectify it. I also let her know their number on the receipt is to a poor ladies phone not their business. read more
