Definitely a good place to stop for a simple lunch or dinner. Service was great. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The menus are in both English and Spanish which helps. The food was good. We had the chicken hard tacos and pork tacos. Both did not disappoint. Great food and service! We ordered the combination platter with a chile reneno, 2 steak tacos, 2 pork tacos, quesadillas, and 2 enchiladas. We were also given chips with three different salsas. The green salsa was mild to medium on the spicy scale. The reddish colored one was mild. The orangish colored one was mild to sweet. He said it had a little bit of pumpkin in it. Just happened to see this place while walking and was short on time so decided to try it out. Pretty decent place with reasonable prices. We tried the flank steak and chicken chimichanga. Both came with guac and the flank steak also came with refried beans. The flank steak was really good and flavorful. They gave A1 steak sauce to accompany the steak but it didn't need it at all. The chimichanga was nothing special, it actually reminded us of something we have back home that we don't really like to eat so that kinda made it a little off putting but it tasted better once you mix it with the guac. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant on New Year's Eve! Very tasty and the portions were perfect. Not too large at all. Ambiance & outdoor patio seating was great. Margaritas were fantastic! Tortilla soup was so fresh. They brought it out and they poured the soup on top of cheese, sour cream, garnishes and tortilla strips. Live music too and service was excellent! For a family of 4, we spent $82 US which included 2 drinks. For NYE that was a deal! Being lured off the steeets to eat a restaurant is common place in tourist locations. We were planning on going down the street to crowded Mexiextreme and wish we had after our experience here. For enticing us to eat here he manager promised 4 tequila shots before and after our meal. We waited for placing our order and we got shuffled between server back to manager because of "lack of understanding what was promised. Often the people play "stupido" When they offer a gratis gift and then take t away. This was problem #1. Food order took Around 45mins to take even through there were ample staff. Outdoors is nice off street but lends itself to car noise people walking by the tables and to cigarette smoke exposure Food medium to high priced and very small portions. Even though we got the Mexican platter for 2 people we left hungry. After the appetizer of "tuna scallops" which was very paper thin cut tuna and was so fishy tasting( we were concerned) meals then were finished and then the server dropped a huge platter of used dishes and silverware. We got a random recommendation to eat at this restaurant by some American tourists who told us they had eaten there twice in the same day. We felt like that was a pretty good recommendation even though we didn't know them. All of the seating in this restaurant is outdoors part of it is covered with ceiling fans and the rest is uncovered with no ceiling fans. The vibe and the Decour of the restaurant is pretty good. It's a relaxed atmosphere with low-key Mariachi music playing live in the background. They do have free Wi-Fi which is a real plus in the Cancun area sent several of the hotel resorts charge for Wi-Fi. But the food and drink was pretty average. We ordered that Mexican combo for two people which came with tacos enchiladas relleno beans and rice. Really didn't like the service. My wife asked for mango juice and they gave her solid mango in martini glass that looked like it came from a can. When we told them to correct it and give us mango juice made from mango they returned with a drink that tasted like water. There was no mango in it at all and they even lied saying it's real mango. When my wife said she didn't want it, the waiter gave an attitude. On top of that they didn't even give us a napkin or paper so I went to grab some myself from a different table. The main course was okay and was shared between my wife and I. When the bill came he included the tip automatically. Since it was just a snack meal I decided not to say anything but honestly the waiter did not deserve the tip. Even if the drink was bad, if he was polite about it, I'd understand since it's not his fault but he was completely rude. Definitely don't recommend this place unless you don't really care about service and service charge added automatically to you bill. read more

Casa Tequila had some of the best food, drinks, and service at the local restaurants in Cancun! We ate here about 30 mins before we had to leave our resort to get to the airport. We told our AMAZING waiter that and he rushed all our food! My fiancé and I ordered the dorados tacos and they were so, so yummy!!! The salsa variety was great here as well as the fresh tortilla chips. The Jamaica I had here was better than the Jamaica I had anywhere else in Mexico. Although it was an outdoor restaurant, there were almost flies and the temperature was great, despite the heat and humidity. Seconding time coming to this restaurant, and it's still a great place to catch a great meal at. The enchiladas I had were delicious, and the fajitas my friend got looked great as well. I do wish the salsas were a bit hotter, but they do cater to the tourist crowd more than the local so they tone the hotness down. I came to cancun for a 4 days visit and wanted to try a new restaurant. My crews stayed at americana fiesta thats a street down. We came here for convienence. I asked if they have mango juice and they said they do. what they brought was some artificial flavor mango slush that tasted sooo bad that I had to send it back. I dont like to cause trouble so if things are edible, I have no problem consuming. so i told the waiter i asked for mango juice hoping to get my mango juice that i initially asked for. the wait took my drink back and barista literally pour like ice in the slushy to make "mango juice". it was disgusting. then came the bill, they charged 15% service charge. I have no problem giving tip but the waiters attitude did not even deserve a penny. also, the salsa and chips are ridiculously gross as well. I wouldnt even eat it if i was starving. this is by far the worst experience i had in cancun. Skip this place and go to mextreme down the street. read more

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon Casa Tequila while wandering around Cancun on vacation. We're both vegan, and were looking for a place to stop for a quick drink and a light lunch. To our pleasant surprise, Casa Tequila had a nice little vegan menu (We loved opening the menu at the first place we stopped to check out to see "Vegan" highlighted!) and we loved everything we tried! We ate a Casa Tequila 3-4 times during our week in Cancun, and we're already looking forward to returning to Casa Tequila when we visit Cancun again in March 2018!
