My wife and I had been looking for tile for a few months before we came across Casa Viva. Going to numerous stores and show rooms had left me pretty frustrated with the whole tile selection process, but thankfully we found Giuliana at Casa Viva. Right off the bat, she was incredibly helpful and after about an hour with her, we had selected tile for two of our bathroom showers and our bathroom floors. She was very accommodating and even put up with our three-year-old daughter who obviously had no interest in helping us pick tile. We ended up with an Alaska grey herringbone mosaic tile made out of porcelain that we absolutely love. After our contractor completed the first bathroom renovation, we knew we were cutting it close with regards to the amount of tile we had left for the second bathroom. Giuliana was very helpful and communicative in arranging to have one box set aside just in case we needed it. Our contractor referred us to Casa Viva to choose backsplash for our kitchen remodel. We brought with us a 4"x4" sample of our countertop and a sample sheet of glass mosaic tile we liked. They have an amazing selection and the level of customer service was awesome! Giuliana showed us several backsplashes and once we narrowed it down she suggested we add a white glossy stripe so the lines of the backsplash wouldn't be too overwhelming. Additionally she suggested a white trim to finish off the edges. Giuliana definitely has an eye for detail and our kitchen looks amazing. We can't thank Giuliana enough. So I just went here on a referral from a friend who had just drove buy and saw the sign. OMG talk about inventory! Whatever color, material type or size they probably had it. I was looking for a kitchen tile and they delivered. After looking for 2 weeks 3 times a week. You would think that I would have found something. I went to the. If name stores but nothing popped. I hit it here and I so happy with the end result. Next customer service (where I truly believe the customer is NOT always right). Upon entering the store I meet someone walking around in a soft cast. Instead of just pointing and telling us go look over there (which has happened in a few stores I have visited) she walked the length of the store over and over helping me look for "the one". I had come from a big tile company in Emeryville that I won't name... what the heck I don't want u going there (Granite Expo) and had the WORST customer service. Trying to get someone to show me a particular product was just asking to much for them. Guiliana is the BEST. She took the time to explain the difference in tile (commercial grade vs. regular) and the benefits from the different companies (USA vs. Italy). Next thing I know we are exchanging numbers and she is a consultant on my kitchen AND bathroom remodel. LOL. She didn't complain about all the text messages and calls AFTER she had sold me my tile. No, she responded like I was new customer coming in that day. She made referrals to other local companies re faucets and soap dispensers. I found this business on yelp and I have no regrets using this business. I was near the area selecting my stone counter tops so I wanted to see what they had for tile on a backsplash. Amazing selections! Luis was great in pointing us to some fossil limestone for a backsplash. So happy he did as it was our first choice. Guiliana was so nice and professional in helping us pick the chair rail for our mural. They really know the styles of their clientele after they ask you questions and see pics of your counter and space. I love that all the tiles are mainly imported so it makes it unique. I had to get backsplash for a guest house kitchen and my main kitchen. It turned out better than I imagined. Highly recommend this business if you want some neat tiles. Just recommend you to be sure to order several weeks ahead of your install since the materials are imported. I love this place. The fact that it's a family owned and operated business makes it even more special. The customer service and product and pricing is some of the best I have found and I have been back several times for my bath , kitchen and living room areas. This past month we finally decided to pull the trigger and get new solid surface countertops. I knew that I had to visit Casa Viva for our backsplash. Now anytime I go into home decorators or big box stores with such a little order, I never expect service. Casa Viva surprised me in such a good way. I walked in during a busy spell, but Giuliana and Luis greeted me with warmth, even though there were customers there to make bigger purchases than me. Their tile is amazing! I couldn't decide between a few and I was able to take home samples. They have porcelain, ceramic and any other tile you may want from all over the world. I settled on the most gorgeous porcelain tile from Italy and I can't wait to put it up. They even had contractor recommendations if I didn't feel equipped for the installation job. This review is long overdue. Juliana at Casa viva is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. I walked into a store on a day when they were really busy, she made the effort to take time and talk to me in detail about my needs. She has tremendous patience and the passion for getting it right especially when you have a sample or an accent you want to match. The ordering process was a breeze , she went above and beyond to get stuff shipped in the right time frame. I bought a bunch of tiles, accents I needed for 2 bathroom remodels. She was nice enough to hunt down a beautiful tile to match an accent piece that I had picked up from another store. She goes to the extent where if she suddenly comes across something that may be a match , she takes pictures and texts you while giving you all the details. I called her a number of times with regard to details about my order, changes, colors , time lines etc.. and every single time she was patient , courteous , friendly and so very helpful. For the first time , I was not tired and irritable after tile shopping due to my prior experience with sales folks at the other high end tile stores . Working with Juliana and casa viva is an absolute pleasure. On a side note , she can source almost any tile for you. I had a tile sample that I picked up from a high end tile store and she managed to get me the exact same tile with the exact quality at 1/3 the price. Giuliana was a very knowledgeable owner and funny I might add, she guided us to shortlist a few porcelain mosaic 2" by 2" tiles for our wet room floor. In the end the decision to purchase the tiles was seamless and it was one stop shopping for us too, they had similar matching grout to purchase also. This place is a hidden gem for beautiful European tiles at affordable prices. If you like tiles from Porcelanosa, this place has all those tiles and more, but at better prices. Don't make judgement on the simple showroom they have, because we found beautiful tiles here. We have remodeled our kitchen, fireplace, and 2 bathrooms and have bought all the tiles from here. We constantly get compliments on our tiles as our guest have not seen some of them before, as one of them gives this textured look of fabric. I recently purchased tile at Casa Viva and I am so happy with the result! I needed to replace the tile in my kitchen, laundry room and office, and I wasn't looking forward to wading thru all the choices as they can be overwhelming. Yuriza and Giuliana walked me thru all the various options, and found a beautiful 18 x 18 polished tile that was perfect.
