I Ordered flowers for our 29th wedding anniversary and this company waited until the day before they were supposed to be delivered to call me and tell me we were outside of there delivery area! Since we were from California I had no idea of how far away we were. Why would they wait until the day before? The gentleman/owner was very rude and rushed me off of the phone. Please don't waste your money here on someone who can't maintain even a facade of politeness for 5 min. Unexpected given all the positive yelp reviews, but take a moment to look at the 1 star reviews...there is absolute truth to them. Called to order a custom bouquet, and asked about flower availability and color schemes. Not sure why Bill lost his cool with such basic questions, Thanks to him, I decided to search for another florist and ended up at Fleur de Moufette. The owner was incredibly polite and kind and very knowledgable. Since peonies are out of season he worked with me and suggested dahlias and ranunculus as they open up big and full too for a similar impact. Just take a look at his bouquets...absolutely stunning (you can see my review and photo there). That's a business that really takes pride in their work and appreciates their customers. [Update to Owner Response] Hi - I'm a bit surprised by this response as it seems he might be confusing me with someone else, but it does reveal he has enough of these types of interactions and is probably aware of his own behavior. I'm not sure if he's genuinely recalling another interaction or making things up...as why would someone refuse to look at a website when that's how many of us shop or why would someone get mad and hang up if you offered a custom arrangement. When I showed a receipt from his store, he changed his reply to me -- accusing me that flowers were not in the water for couple of hours which is intentional lie. Bill wants to look good for new potential customers and does nothing for this but lie. He contacted me in private messages and I provided a proof of purchase -- receipt. He apologized in the way it was my fault the flowers died so fast. He offered me a refund which I politely accepted. He asked to delete my review or change to 5 stars calling it "Fair trade" which I refused to do. He said there is no incentive for him to give me a refund if I don't delete or change my review. John is a true floral artist! I called John to order a bouquet for me and my niece (Maid of Honor) for my wedding held on 8/27/22. I gave John some vague instructions about colors I liked (simple white with lots of green), leaving most of the detail up to him. I knew John was good, but I had no idea that I would be absolutely blown away by the bouquets. I mean honestly, I about cried when I saw them. The attached photo is from the bouquets the next day, so you can imagine the night of the wedding they were even more flawless. Additionally, he made boutonnieres for my father and husband. My mother was not able to attend the wedding as she is in the late stages of Alzheimer's. Her wedding flowers were daisies back in the 60's, so I wanted a single yellow daisy for my dad's boutonniere. The flowers look good at the store but start to wilt very fast at home. Pros of this business: 1. Their abundance of flowers is very good comparing to other Seattle area stores. Cons: 1. Flowers are NOT fresh! And it's not one time issue, bought flowers here 3 times already. Flowers look good when you buy them, then already tired by the end of the day and the next day 50% of them are wilted. I have never had experience like this when flowers are dying so fast with a proper care. 2. The owner is very defensive and manipulative, which says to me he likely knows about this issue and doesn't fix it. 3. I doubt all 5 star reviews here! My wife posted reviews for this business and Bill offered her a refund which she politely accepted. He asked to delete her 1 star review or changing it to 5 star and deleting pictures of wilted flowers. She refused to do it, he said there is no incentive for him to do a refund. So basically their refund policy based on deleting honest reviews or changing it to a 5 star experience. I do not recommend this business! read more

I needed to send a bouquet of flowers to the downtown/pioneer square area, after my intense arduous research I used Seattle Flowers. It was very easy to use their website to select based on occasions, review the photos etc. I selected a bouquet and followed the instructions for purchasing and off it went. Prices are what I expected, in my opinion sending flowers can be pricey. I got my confirmation shortly afterwards. I like that there is a tab to enter specific instructions when delivering, I wish the tab could hold more characters though, so I had to get crafty on my message to the delivery person because this office building can be tricky delivering to. During the ordering process, I notated to the delivery person a time frame and date range it should be delivered, they delivered it same day and at the top of my time frame. I was thinking it would be next day or at earliest it would be near end of the day. From when I ordered online, it was like an hour later it was delivered. WHOA! That was fast! Many praises when the bouquet was received, it was very close to what the online photo looked like, very happy overall and BOOM it was done. I win. read more

This is such a nice shop! It's also pretty big considering it's in the actual city of Seattle. On the left of the shop is a nice selection of interesting cards for different occasions. Then on the right/middle sides they have different plants (cacti, succulents, flowers, etc.) . They also have many different pots to plant your plants in! I personally selected an item that had already been planted which had a Maiden Hair in it. I thought the price was very reasonable at $31 for the pot and plant together. The man at the front explained what kind of plant it was to us. He also gave us care instructions which was really nice! He then asked what occasion it was for (mom's birthday) and offered to box it up with some tissue paper for us. The box and tissue paper made it look like a great gift!
