Just decided to part ways with this company. Unfortunately, they do not clean at all. They leave my…read morefloors sticky, and do not bother to pick up anything. They just vacuum around it. One day I came home and found the same dirty spots on the floor. They don't vacuum well, do not spot clean and leave grime in my bathrooms. They have specific areas that they are supposed to deep clean, but when I recheck those areas - it looks to me like they didn't do a thing. They claim they clean baseboards yet, I have found dirt and dust on my baseboards after each cleaning. This is how I found one of the bedrooms. You can tell they vacuumed up to the bed and that was it. They are supposed to make one bed in the house and I need to pay extra if I want another bed cleaned. As you can tell in the picture, they didn't bother to even straighten the blankets. They just raised their prices, which was another deal breaker for me. I don't want to pay a 10% increase when they aren't living up to their cleaning standards.

This was one of the worst cleaning jobs we've had done at our home. There was lint and debris all…read moreover the hardwood floors, stairs, and the area rugs! Dusting was not done on all surfaces. Kitchen range and sink had previous stains remaining. None of the window sills or light fixtures were touched. We've had to schedule different cleaners to clean after this team. This feedback was provided to the main office but no action was taken or remedy offered. We've made our payment and canceled the rest of the cleans.

Yes, it is a Franchise - but that doesn't have to be a bad thing…read more It is the Franchisee that counts and in this case, with Bryce, you have a great one. He cares - so he comes in before you have your first visit of the cleaner. Then you get an offer and a list of what is included. During the first visit, you speak about special requests or things you do not want to be cleaned (like that Guestroom you only use once a year for example). If you accept the offer he will set a schedule with the cleaning crew. With us this is a whole family (Tia, Mia and Chris). They are doing a great job. Asking if you have anything special to take care of during the cleaning on the day of the scheduled appointment. And then you just show them where you have things like trash bags etc. And from there they take over. And it is clean when they leave! One great thing about Cleaning Authority (CA) is that they have "special areas" that interchange. So one visit it is the living room, while on another its the kitchen etc.. Do not get me wrong: Everything is cleaned all the time but the special areas get more attention during that visit. It works great. We have two cleaning services in our street - so they would have a very short way to us. But they have been more expansive and they can't be as good as we have it right now. CA also brings everything they need (besides trash bags since there are so many different sizes - in our house, we already have three different sizes) from organic cleaner to the vacuum and the toothbrush (NI KIDDING when it is time to do the special kitchen area they use a toothbrush to clean faucets, sinks, and drains!!!) whats not to love! So I only recommend Cleaning Authority so far - but keep in mind this is for the Portland East franchise!

My husband and I thought we'd give this business a try. After meeting with Bryce, the franchise…read moreowner, we scheduled our first service. We were very disappointed, after voicing our disappointment of things that went untouched and or lack of cleaning, he said, well sometimes things are missed. As to justify his employee's lack of work ethic. We kept them on for little linger to give them a chance to redeem themselves, nothing ever improved. The only time we felt as though things were cleaned, was when I complained about a service and Bryce went with an employee and re- cleaned our house. The floors were never cleaned, debris was vacuumed, but always dirty when wiped with a damp cloth or paper towel. The underside of the toilet bowl rim was black, the day after they were there, it hadn't been cleaned at all the whole time The last straw was when I was cleaning our kitchen sink. It's an expensive Shaw sink, farmhouse style, white and beautiful. I noticed 2 small nicks in the glaze right where we saw them rest the cast iron pieces from the stove. They draped a towel over the side, but that should have never, ever been where those were placed for cleaning the stove top! How irresponsible when you are cleaning someone else's home!! There were so many things not cleaned, there's not enough room to list. Usually something was left, a rag, a spray bottle, a duster, etc. Our home never looked or smelled very clean either. Their mantra of what and how they clean is a joke, if you want to pay for a mediocre wipe down service, this is your company. They never put our vacuum away like they found it, still all put together and shoved in the closet. Items were not put back in place, nor picked up and cleaned under. They used a feather duster and waved it around in the air as if it were a magic wand around the light fixture in the bathroom, never even made contact with the fixture, I watched her, I know! That was the the first day as I was home, I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Unless your house is a pigsty and a good tidying and wipedown would make it seem clean; I would not recommend using this service, you're throwing your hard earned money in the garbage!!!

I appreciate the sentiment... Not a good experience at all. I wish I had stuck with a recommendation instead of trying out castle keepers in portland. I thought I was lucky to have them come same day- but they changed my time window 1x without my knowledge. I was quoted $170 for 2 cleaners for 2 hours and expected it to be a simple job. 2 bathrooms, kitchen, 1 dining room (only needed a table wipe down and vacuum) and 1 living room. (Wipe down shelves and vacuum only) When I showed up after the 2 hour window, they had only gotten to 1 of the bathrooms and half the kitchen. I have no idea what they were doing- but the bathroom looked as though it had barely been touched. The floor was still dirty, the shower caddy untouched. Nothing wiped down in the shelves. And then when I asked the cleaning lady if she had done the floors I was told it would take several cleanings for the layers to be peeled back? Hold on.... what?! The kitchen looked ok. The fridge was spotless and organized. The downstairs bathroom had little to do and was decent... But they didn't touch the living or dining room. Dust bunnies were still everywhere- almost like I wasted all my money and time. I'm calling now to discuss with a manager. I was charged $240 almost a week later with, again, no call to discuss

We Clean Everything - They claim it took 3 people 1 hour to clean this dining room. They don't do windows.

I only needed the bathroom cleaned and the floors mopped. When I got the bill they charged me for 7 1/2 hours! I could have cleaned my house and painted the walls in that time! (I'm not exaggerating, you should see my house.) Not only that but they left all the pictures askew (so clearly not slow and meticulous) and left clean dishes (that I had done) sitting on the counter. In 7 1/2 hours you'd think they could have put them away. My usual cleaners can clean my whole house (including the basement, which these people didn't touch), change sheets and do windows in 2 hours. When I politely asked for detail of the clean they would hardly communicate with me and only said "that's what our cleaners put on their time cards." I was so frustrated. Please don't use these people. Update: these people just get worse and worse. They are crooks.
