After reading past reviews, my family of 4 and I decided to try this place for its laid back atmosphere. Where to begin? LONG REVIEW AHEAD. - our server tells us we can choose our own seats, which at first seemed awesome but her lack of care for us being there was uncanny. - NONE OF THE STAFF (other than the outdoor server) WERE WEARING PPE. No masks!! Not even the cook! A warning would've been nice. My mom's a nurse and has seen Covid impact firsthand. But ok. - when ordering, I asked if my meal comes with a side per the footnote on the page. I'm told no, only the ones with stars... ok cool I'm fine with it because it's Mac n cheese, so it's filling right? Remember this for later. - we wait about 40 minutes for our food with no follow up or update on it. (We were her only table). - THIS IS WHAT DID IT... food comes terribly COLD!!! Like it was sitting out for a while. My mom's steak was barely chewable because of the temp. Mine and my bother in law's Mac and Cheese was by no means "homemade." It tasted like Kraft with too much milk. Way too much. - back to the sides. There's a corn on the cob plopped on both his and mine's plates. So much for not coming with sides. The issue is he hates corn. And at no point did we have the server come up, explain and ask what side we would like. We saw her for drink order, food order, food delivery and check. We were there a while (including the 40 minute food wait). - lastly my $8 up charge for the two pieces of lobster meat I received was absurd. Should've gotten way more meat. This was awful. We vacation every year in Provincetown on the Cape and always have amazing dining experiences. The one year we branch out somewhere else in New England, we get this. I'm not sure if politics was involved due to my mom looking Hispanic(even though she isn't), my brother in law being black and me being gay. Waited 45 minutes, after asking, only to be told they just fired our meals. Decided to leave and get food elsewhere as we had 3 hungry kids. The manager's excuse was the food is made fresh therefore implying the wait is acceptable. Working with fresh ingredients should be even quicker to cook with. The dishes we ordered should have taken 30 minutes tops to cook. Not sure if this was an error of the kitchen but we left disappointed. Luckily they comped our drinks (sodas). This was an outstanding discovery! The prices were outstanding so I was concerned the food would be subpar, but that was not the case. Our server Brittany was wonderful. Love the Cascade - my favorite spot in Hampton. Their seafood dishes are great - try the Surf and Turf with the steak tips and scallops. Steak tips very tender. Steamers are delicious. It's away from the tourist traps on the Blvd so there's not a 2 hour wait for dinner. Nice deck and a generous pour for drinks. Saturday and Sunday there's usually live music from late afternoon on. The food was decent, but not great. (But it's Hampton Beach, and is any of the food really that good?) I got the clam roll and it wasn't the best I've ever had by any means, but was fine. The fries were good. The person I was with got a chicken parm sandwich and it was served on strange soggy thick toast. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck. The waterslides were closed that day, but it would be fun to watch people on them if it were open. I would come back again to have drinks on the deck, but might try to find food somewhere else. read more

Great place, nice relaxing atmosphere with folks sliding on a nearby waterside. I have ordered the breakfast omelet several times and every time it meets my expectations. The funniest part is that it's called the "D" omelet. I order and they say, "what do you want on your D omelet?" I say bacon, everyone laughs, and shortly later I get my meal. Good times. read more

We go to HB every year. This would be a good place to eat while the kids are on the water slide. Food ok. Policies terrible. Pricing rip off. Food qty rip off. Dining in, you expect soda refills. They charge by the glass as you eat a meal. The fish and chips was very stingy on the portion of fish. We asked for corn on the cobb instead of fries with the fish. The menu stated choose 2 sides and corn was listed on the same page. They charged adders for all 3 of us at $4 each instead of fries. Never again. Waitress was nice enough but manager should have stepped up. Me and wife were in restaurant business for 10 years each. Many better choices like Farr's chicken. read more

Been going here during our summer vacation for 12 years now.. we always cap our vacation with a breakfast at Cascades on our departure day.. we ordered our breakfast.. my 4 yr old had pancakes, my 9 year old had French toast, my wife had the slide special , and I ordered the Tex mex omelette... The food arrived and looked great until I noticed a hair in the omelette.. I brought it to the attention of the server.. she apologized, said she would get me a new one, and take it off the bill.. About 3 minutes later, she brings me a new one and it was terrible.. eggs cold, veggies raw and cold, and the cheese was cold and unmelted.. given , it was free, I did not complain at all, but after 12 years, they lost 4 customers read more

Food was good and reasonably priced. Their steak wrap had a ton of cheese. Almost like a steak and cheese sub in a wrap. Their lobster roll had a ton of lobster meat but was very plain. No mayo or butter but the lobster was fresh so it was still tasty. Service was also good. read more

My wife and I ventured in this quiet restaurant to avoid crowds lining up outside other restaurants. We ordered a Fish and Chips Basket and a Fish Sandwich and a couple of drinks. The Fish and Chips Basket should be renamed to Chips and Fish, as there was probably about 4 ounces of fish in it. Ironically my wife's Fish Sandwich had almost twice the fish, but cost 4$ less than my food. I mentioned this to the server who took it up with the boss and returned with this comment: "He says that's what most people say!" And nothing else. On the positive side, service was good and the fish was delicious. But for a plate that was priced at$13.99, it felt not like a lunch but a snack. read more

Place is very conveniently located near the water slid. Kids I was with were tired so we didn't go far. Food was very very bland. The 11 year old in my party said that she has never seen burger that small. My buffalo chicken salad had probably 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Dressing comes out of Ken's pouches.
