If you're not thick skinned I'd go elsewhere. The lady who took my takeout order seemed annoyed I was even there. Their menu is small and limited in choices. They only had corn and blueberry muffins and they were out of bagels except plain. One of the patrons leaving struck up a great conversation that saved me from the lady. The room was filled with lots of nice people and older folks, you just have to take the surliness of the staff with a smile. It seemed like most of the regulars in the room were able to joke with the staff. Loved the accents too. I just give it an OK because the bagels were skinny and Lenders like, a side of bacon was $5.00 for a few strips and the home fries were just OK. The corn muffin was pretty darn good though. I asked for a side of hot sauce and I had to hunt through some plastic shelving behind me for packets. It made me laugh, but I'm just setting the scene for you. For takeout go elsewhere, but the eat-in diners plates looked pretty good. Eating in may up this old joint to a fourth star. I wanted to return the next day, but found an alternative breakfast spot close by that had better food.

For dessert, my better half and I shared their bananas foster bread pudding, which was out of this world scrumptious. I wanted to lick the bowl! North of NOLA will be at this spot until Labor Day. It's definitely worth visiting (more than once)! I can't wait to go back for more! (Forgot to take pictures of our main course! But did get a picture of dessert!)

I lived 7 1/2 years in Louisiana and even worked for 2 1/2 years at the legendary Ralph & Kacoo's, so I have been searching for years for Cajun food as good as I enjoyed back then. I have eaten at every so called Cajun Restaurant in NH, ME, MA, and RI. North of NOLA and Big Mamou in Springfield MA are the only two that could be served in Louisiana . I started if with an Abita Purple Haze (beer). I was worried it might be a little stale, but it was fresh and tasty. My wife had a hard Southern Peach Tea. It was delicious as well. On to the food: We started with a bowl of seafood gumbo. It was very thick, not watery, and had lots of shrimp, crab, crawfish, and okra. 10 of 10 and the hit of the night. I will return just for the gumbo. My wife got the Zydeco Pasta for her meal. Not too spicy and full of flavor. Maybe a tad to much andouille, but 7 of 10. I got the Crawfish Etouffe. A little mild for my taste but delicious. 8 of 10. We also got a Blackened Fish Bites appetizer with our meals. I wish it was catfish, but they used Haddock. It was perfectly spiced and delicious. 8 of 10. Would be 10 of 10 if they used wild caught catfish. For dessert we got Beignets and coffee. The beignets were dreamy. 9 of 10. All in all it was an amazing experience and we will make the drive again soon.

My wife and I saw their current monthly flight offering and knew we needed to try the flavors. Was the perfect time of the year to visit this location. Not too cold but before the busy tourist beach season started. Just like their other location great vibes overall with friendly staff who greet you and wishing you a good day when leaving as well. Some great window seats or outdoor seating to do some people watching. Lots of flamingo decor and just an overall welcoming space. Also if you are a fan of flavored coffees they absolutely nail the flavors so well! Their current flight included Strawberry Cheesecake, Butterfly Chai (lavender & honey), key lime pie, and raspberry lemon tart! My wife loved their chai the most while I enjoyed the raspberry lemon tart most. After the flight my wife got a larger sized chai and I got a s'mores latte! The s'mores flavor was phenomenal, best s'mores flavored coffee I have ever had! No food this visit but they do have a good variety to pair with your drinks. If you are looking for great vibes at a coffee shop for your Hampton Beach visit check them out! Flights are the perfect way to sample a variety of flavors.

It's right on the beach with a clear view of the ocean. The windows flip open and must be amazing in the summer months (I think someone posted a photo of the building here). I've been a few times on Sunday morning, when its quiet and peaceful, and the beach air is cool. I've only had the coffee and some breakfast items, but would like to try more. Its a comfortable place to hang out for a little while and the people here are nice. I'll be back again before they close for the season. I highly recommend you give them a try!

They also claim to be a sort of community gathering center. The coffee was ok! Local-ish Fazenda coffee. The lack of customer service was insane. There were staff available but I waited for a while at the counter for someone to notice me and take my order. I spent around $25 for 2 items, am injured with difficulty walking, and they wouldn't let me use the bathroom, hinting that they had one but not "for the public". Instead they directed me to a public restroom down the road with 4 stalls for hundreds of people at the beach. The açaí was good though. I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons.
