We had a gorgeous view from the upper deck! The service was fast and so friendly, and the food was even better.

There are several places to eat along the stretch of Hampton Beach but you can't go wrong with Boardwalk Café & Pub. A friend and I met there on a September Saturday for lunch, having never been to Hampton Beach. Boardwalk Café & Pub was recommended by a co-worker and it did not disappoint. We got there near opening and there were plenty of tables available. We sat in the upstairs outdoor seating area at the railing, a prime spot for people-watching and enjoying the beautiful oceanfront. If I hadn't had to drive back to Waltham I would have sampled one of the delicious-looking cocktails. Next time maybe. I had the fish and chips, and my companion had a Cobb salad. The fish and chips came out piping hot, small bite-sized chunks of haddock perfect for dipping into tartar sauce. The fries were tasty and just the right amount to compliment and not overwhelm the fish. The cole slaw was just okay but folks who don't like a lot of dressing in their slaw would approve. I like mine a little creamier. My companion enjoyed her Cobb salad. The music (pop) was a little loud but as I was enjoying the songs I didn't ask if they'd turn it down and soon got used to it. The staff were pleasant to a person, and the waitstaff prompt and accommodating when we made requests regarding our meals. I would DEFINITELY return!

We sat upstairs our sever was sweet and as attentive as she could I just wished we got refills on our drinks. Nothing too special about this place, honestly looking at the other restaurant menus on Hampton beach this was one looked the best for this little beach town. The best thing we got was the mussels, they were surprisingly really fresh and great flavors. My husband had the shrimp and lobster scampi and I had the ahi tuna salad it wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. It was a decent meal, but I would eat here again for the views of the beach and fantastic for people watching. Seriously very entertaining watching all the tricked out cars drive by with their music blasting and the fun police action lol.

Being from NY, I prefer a hot butter lobster roll but this place has a delicious cold lobster roll. Great staff and service ever with a crowd they were very attentive. The Feeling Hot Hot hot Margarita was spicy but was more like spiked pineapple juice then a margarita.

Oh boy. The location of this place is its saving grace. I have a feeling if they were not right on the main strip of Hampton Beach with two floors of ocean views, they would not be in business long. My girlfriends and I came here for an early dinner on a Saturday night when all of the other places were impossible to get into (this should have been our first red flag). We ordered the sampler appetizer and crab cakes to start. The sampler portion size was shockingly small. It looked like a kid's meal to be honest and ate like one too - there was not enough to go around, not to mention the mediocre quality of the food. The crab cakes tasted like they had more filler than crab in them. They were also drizzled with honey mustard which I found to be a very odd and poor choice for seafood. For my entree, I ordered the fish & chips. I expected the fish to be a haddock filet, but instead it was served in chunks/bite size pieces. I've never had it like that before so it was kind of suspect and unappetizing. My friends had a chicken sandwich, burger, and the baked haddock. The sandwich & burger came dry as a bone with no sauce or condiments. They had to ask for them. The baked haddock looked so unappealing. The presentation of the dish was just horrible. Needless to say, my friends were not satisfied with their meals. I'd say suck up the wait for any other place on the boardwalk!

They gave us good portions and a incredibly generous amount of lobster on this roll but I give the food a 2/5 because the burger bun came out burnt on one side, the food tasted like there was no salt aside from on the cheese fries, and the service was so slow and inattentive. At least we had a nice view, but we just can't come back knowing all the options just a few blocks away.

This was a nice changeup with casual comfort food. Think pizza, burgers and the like. The dining room is nice, open air out front with outside tables, a big bar and a fun surfer/beach theme. The hostess first tried to bring us to the far back corner of the restaurant and I knew we would not like feeling so isolated from the rest of the diners, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere, and she was quite agreeable. I had my eye on their Mai Tai with a honey foam top, which brought me right back to Hawaii where MonkeyPod restaurant does a similar rendition with a lilikoi foam topping. Point Break served a tasty and potent version. We didn't order apps, but my Mac & Cheese was very good. Seemed that everybody was very happy with their food as well. Fried haddock, pulled pork and a nice salad. Our server was great, and quickly handled one mistake (a full dinner was served instead of a sandwich, and so he brought out the fries which came with the sandwich). Perhaps the only real negative is parking, which is tricky at the south end of Hampton Beach. There is plenty of resident parking nearby, but otherwise you might have to walk a bit to get to a paid parking spot or lot. Give them a try! We don't visit this part of the beach often and rarely for dinner, but we might make an exception to try this spot again.

At the time of this posting, TSSC is currently in their soft opening phase with different menus each day. They are open for dinner during the week and Saturdays and for brunch on Sundays. The place has a retractable garage door in front, offering seating up at the front full service bar and inside table seating too. There is also seating outside in front if you like to listen to loud motorcycles and vehicles with modified exhaust zoom by. Due to the soft opening phase, the brunch food menu selection was very limited to pancakes with NH maple syrup, steak & eggs, breakfast sandwich, and the lobster bennie, plus sides (crispy smashed home fries, bacon, fruit salad). The bar had a few draft beers, bottle beers, wine, seltzers, and brunch libations such as bloody marys Hampton ice tea, mimosa metro, the pearl and by the dunes. The pricing is moderate high. While I was at Hampton Beach on a hot sunny Sunday, I decided to stop by the Tideside Social Club for brunch since one of the chefs also operates the extremely popular and excellent Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery in Raymond. I took a seat up at the bar and it wasn't very busy around 11:30am. The bar was staffed with three bartenders and one was training the other two on how to operate the digital touchscreen POS. One of the bartenders took my drink order (I got water since it was hot outside) and a soft opening brunch menu. The group on the other side of the bar was really enjoying their brunch and mimosas and the smashed home fries and bacon were a hit. I went with the Lobster Bennie ($23 plus tax), which came out in about 12 minutes after ordering. The Lobster Bennie had two shortcake biscuits topped with chewy lobster tail meat, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. This brunch dish was very filling to eat considering the biscuits were very dense and not sweet. Having lobster on a brunch dish was very fitting for the area. After I was done, I got the check which was $24.96 (cash)/$25.87 (card) with tax and before tip. Cash is king at most businesses in Hampton Beach. Overall, this new restaurant in Hampton Beach shows promise and I had no idea what was on their menu until I stopped in. Once a more permanent menu is launched and published online, I will be sure to stop in to try again.

The Parker House rolls were savory warm perfection and a great way to start the meal. My entree, the gnocchi with duck confit was one of the best things I've ever tasted (though very rich--I had to bring half home). And I tasted my dining companion's duck breast an it was also delicious (which they concurred in thinking). The dessert special was a sticky toffee pudding with bananas foster ice cream and peanut butter magic shell and I wish I could eat it every day. The only downsides were that (1) I didn't love the dessert cocktail (which was also absent a garnish), but it could also very well be personal preference and it was only $7, (2) it was freaking freezing in the restaurant. We were seated in a corner that didn't seem to have any baseboard heaters, and even though we weren't far from the fireplace, there was so little insulation on the windows we were all egregiously uncomfortable. The service was great, with the waitress very helpfully answering all our questions and brining each course with perfect timing. The food itself is on the expensive side, though I thought the drinks were normal for a nice restaurant (my other drink, which I enjoyed, was $13). But for the quality of the food, it's hard to complain.
