    Oxtail Dreadlocks Pasta
    Roxy A.

Was hungry read reviews online, placed an order thru DoorDash. Everyone raved about their oxtail Rasta pasta. Ut even hit across a few platforms on social media. So I decided to test it out. & it sure does not live up to the hype. Disappointed. I received an oily mess. Pasta noodles were dry. As always most JA restaurants are very stingy with oxtail meat. I only received 4 pieces & it was mostly bone. The lil meat I did have wasn't even tender. Maybe it was an off day idk. But you can't rely on everyone else's taste buds. To each their own! It was edible tho, But just not great

Someone recommended the Rasta pasta here. I decided not to get the Rasta pasta but instead got a medium jerk chicken dinner which was $12. To me that's a good priced meal. The portion size was good as I didn't even finish it. The jerk chicken was not dry and had a nice little kick to it, however it wasn't amazing. I also got a beef patty with coco bread. The bread was soft and fresh. The patty was hard, burnt and dried out so I threw that in the garbage.

I placed an order through DoorDash for a large Brown Stew Chicken, Rice & Peas, Steamed Veggies, Fried Chicken as well as Mac & Queso. Upon inspecting my delivery I saw a large container of what appeared to be Chicken "Soups" and Brown Stew Chicken. First things first why in the hell did I receive soup? Where's my Fried Chicken and Mac & Queso? Why wasn't I called and informed that they'd be sending something else? I hardly eat soup and I most definitely wouldn't order chicken noodle soup. In all of my years eating Jamaican food I've never had stew chicken that wasn't properly cooked, but today I did. The fact that the skin was extremely visible and hanging loosely was a sure indication that I would be disappointed. The fact that the chicken wasn't fried and then braised in the sauce is appalling to me. I've never had stew chicken that was made spicy. The rice and peas had no flavor besides the spicy brown stew sauce that was placed on top. I'm definitely not a fan of Cascade Jerk.

The rice I received instead of jerk wings, pasta, 2 ting beverages , and 1 side order of rice

Delivery | Dinner | $20-30 Terrible customer service. They only gave me rice as my meal then when they said they would fix the problem, the chef refused to make my order. Waited 2 hours for just rice & peas when I ordered pasta, wings, ting etc. This was the only meal from them that was edible for me, now I will no longer be ordering from them anymore. Even the DoorDash rep was appalled at the fact they made me drive over there the next day to waste my time. I told the chef I didn't mind waiting for the food to be made but he claimed that the wings were too much for him to cook. Guess he picked the wrong profession.

Oxtail dredlocks pasta u have to dig to find pasta under the oil

Well... today was the first time ordering from here I had the escovietch chicken with rice and peas. It was ok I was expecting it better taste wise. I then ordered oxtail Rasta pasta and it was drowning in oil it was not packed nicely at all and honestly it was tasty but not presentable. I read the reviews prior to ordering and it was decent but will I order from here again. Ugh doubt it

I love this place but words of advice ORDER WAY BEFORE YOU PLAN ON PICKING UP !!!! For example if you have to run an errand call in your food do what you have to do and make this your last stop. It makes the wait seem like nothing. I have had cascade numerous times and they never disappoint but i learned early on to call my food in. I once walked in and ordered and had to wait about 40 mins the only reason i didn't mind is because i was at a friends house near by. I usually like to stick to what i know so I'm not disappointed in my food. I've had the salmon dreadlock pasta regular and fried , oxtail dreadlock pasta, chicken dreadlock pasta , shrimp dreadlock pasta and dreadlock pasta by itself. I've had shrimp and steamed vegetables , curry shrimp and oxtail with rice and peas. I have been satisfied with every last dish. At one point the guy at the register was calling me by my name. If i had to critique anything it would be the wait time but because i know that they take long to prepare ( which doesn't bother me because i know it's fresh) I'm okay with it. This is also in my opinion not a place to sit and eat. The restaurant is small in itself and they have about 2 tables for 2 people to eat but it's often crowded and i just prefer to not eat with someone possibly standing on my back.

Food was good. Ambiance needs some work. Just because it's small, doesn't mean it can't be better. Staff need to be more bubbly.

We were seated quickly and started with complimentary bruschetta on toast, breadsticks, and a warm loaf of bread. We ordered the fried calamari, which was a very generous portion, fresh, lightly breaded and not greasy at all. We chose the sweet marinara sauce and really enjoyed it. For dinner we had the Seafood Fra Diavolo for two. The portion was huge and could easily feed three people. Everything tasted fresh and was well seasoned. My only disappointment was that there was no spice at all I was really looking forward to that nice spicy Fra Diavolo kick. We also had a pitcher of white sangria, which was good. Overall, a very good first experience. We'll definitely come back and see if we can get that Fra Diavolo to live up to its name next time!

We got the French onion soup and lobster bisque. I've had better French onion soup (yes, probably shouldn't order at an Italian spot but i couldn't resist). The lobster bisque was yummy but you could really taste the heavy cream. No chunks of lobster. We shared a large fried calamari with medium spice marinara sauce and a dozen baked clams. The calamari needed some salt, but was fried well. Baked clams were absolutely SO DELISH!!! Use up that complimentary bread basket for them. For mains, we shared the shrimp parm, linguini pasta with clams, and rigatoni. Shrimp parm and rigatoni were awesome. Great red sauce. My pasta with the clams was super bland. No olive oil, no garlic. Couldn't eat it and took it home for leftovers to remake a sauce for it. After that, tasted good. We shared the tartufo for dessert. Can't go wrong there. I would come back if you're looking for large portions for dinner and want some fresh seafood.

It comes in a cute drink pouch, has a generous pour, and definitely doesn't skimp on the alcohol. Even with the rum, dark rum, orange juice, and grenadine, it still tastes amazing and strikes a really nice balance. For my appetizer, I ordered a cup of the New England clam chowder. It was fresh, creamy, and packed with plenty of clam pieces in every bite. Unless you're a huge clam chowder fan or planning to make it your meal, I think the cup is the perfect size to enjoy before digging into a seafood boil. For my boil, I ordered half a pound of mussels and half a pound of head off shrimp with Cap't Loui sauce at the hot spice level. It also came with corn and potato, and I added boiled egg. If you're someone who loves a Cajun style seafood boil with a noticeable kick, the hot Cap't Loui sauce absolutely delivers without sacrificing flavor. Another thing I appreciate is that they provide branded plastic bibs and gloves, which makes the whole experience much less messy and lets you fully enjoy the meal. The restaurant tables were also decorated with cute seafood-themed paper tablecloth to keep everything clean as well. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was attentive, and everything, from the drinks to the chowder to the boil, came out surprisingly fast. This is easily one of my favorite places when I'm craving a seafood boil, and I'll definitely be back again.
