She is also fabulous with extensions. She uses the tape kind that do not damage hair and are unnoticeable. No one believes that I have extensions in because they look so natural! I've been getting my hair done by Casey for almost two years now & every time it is absolutely spectacular. I consistently get a trim, color, treatment, and style - so basically the works - and it has never disappointed me. I have long, dark, thick, and naturally wavy hair and Casey knows exactly what to do with it to keep it shiny, healthy, and glamorous. Sometimes I go into the solan with a specific idea of what I want - which she executes perfectly - and sometimes I ask for her suggestions and go with it. Either way, my hair is always on point when I leave and I get lots of compliments on the color and style. Makes a gal feel great! I've also gone to see Casey to get my hair styled for an event. She did an excellent job creating a beautiful hairstyle that I hadn't even worn before. It felt like I was an ethereal fairy woodland princess going to meet my Aragorn. (Thank you again, Casey.) My boyfriend always comments on how great my hair looks & smells after I see Casey (which is a testament to how great she is - how often do boyfriends notice when their girl changes up their hair?! He's a pretty great template to work with already, (I'm slightly biased, but it's the truth!) but he always looks even more dapper & handsome after he gets his hair cut by Casey. We adore her! You're not paying for a Great Clips haircut (sorry to throw you under the bus, Great Clips) so don't expect it. But pricing isn't anything even remotely crazy. I moved to Dallas a few years ago and whenever I come back home I make sure I get an appointment in with her to do my hair. Casey has been doing my hair for over a year now and she is great! To be honest, I have never really had a hairdresser that I consistently go to before her. I always feel like hairdressers have a difficult time with my hair. It is coarse, frizzy, wavy/curly... I can usually sense the stylist's discomfort when they try to blow dry it smooth haha. Casey, however, is wonderful with my hair and really does a great job styling it. I see her regularly for trims and color touchups. I get complimented on my hair color ALL the time now. Beyond all that, I genuinely enjoy sitting in her chair. There's nothing more uncomfortable than sitting in a hairdresser's chair while they do their work... and having nothing to talk about with them. And awkward small talk is the worst! I just started coming to Casey based on a recommendation from another stylist. Thanks to the pandemic, it had been 9 months since I had my hair done. Casey spent a lot of time listening to my needs and desires before starting in. She did a cut and partial highlight and the results were fantastic. She also gave me some styling tips and great recommendations for products that would address issues I'd been having with thinning hair. Her salon is a bright and cheery private room located in a suite of independent salons. It is closed off from the rest of the salons so you aren't exposed to all the noise (and potential Covid germs) from other stylists and clients. She and I both wore masks the whole time and I felt totally safe. Casey is a fun and positive person to talk to, and I left feeling like I had known her for years. She is an expert when it comes to color. She uses the Kevin Murphy line and I am addicted! My favorite products are the KM Angel Blonde Wash and Conditioner, and Bedroom Hair Spray. I moved here a year ago and have tried a few salons in the area. After a really disappointing cut and color at another salon I was desperate to find someone who just "gets" it. A friend referred me to gingerly and I decided to give it a try. Casey is a true professional who is honest, forthright and really talented! The consultation was the first sign that I was going to have great results. She really listened to me but also had no qualms telling me what would not work well for my hair and why. She also was really intuitive and while we were chatting, she actually cut my hair to fit my busy lifestyle. I've washed it now and styled it on my own and LOVE the way it looks - it even air-dries well because of the way she cut and blended the layers into my waves. Not kidding - one of the best cuts I've ever had and the color is EXACTLY what I pictured which I just feel like never really happens. I went from brown to a warm light brown with highlights. AND the price was less than what the other salon charged (yeah, the one that wrecked my hair). Also, treat yourself and buy some of the Kevin Murphy products because they rock.
