After waiting about 10 minutes, I was then told that my hairstylist couldn't do my hair because he had two other clients ahead of me. I'm confused as to how that could be the case when I had specifically made an appointment for 4 PM. If the salon knew there was a scheduling conflict, I feel I should have been contacted beforehand rather than finding out after arriving. I was then told I could either come back the next day or come back at 5 PM. I live about 15 minutes away, but more importantly, my time is still valuable. I made an appointment and showed up on time expecting that appointment to be honored. I understand that salons can get busy and things happen, but communication and respecting customers' time are important. A simple call or message beforehand would have made a huge difference.
